*We go live on air with a huge recap from last week’s show in Los Angeles. With JJ Johnson taking a leave of absence before Brandi returns with The Saint and his demolition of Clarke James. We join RJ and Jeff Thadeus at their commentary table and they are hyping up a “historic night” in the Big Apple as we prepare for “Night of Champions”.

*Eddy Kent is kicking us off in the ring and he is far from happy with losing two chances at the 6CW Championship and then having his spot in tonight’s “Key to the Kingdom” taken away from him by Lex Hart. Kent runs down Hart and says he was always jealous because he knew Kent was better and would surpass every single of his achievements. Kent wants Hart to come out and apologise to him.

Lex obliges and the crowd cheer him on. Lex isn’t willing to apologise though. He applauds Kent for everything he has achieved in his career, he always knew he would, but this whole “laying the blame” schtick isn’t fooling anyone. He says that maybe Kent just isn’t as good as he thinks he is anymore and that only the very best can say they have been 6WF and 6CW World Champion. Kent’s jaw tightens at this. Lex goes to leave but Kent pulls him back around and tells him “you don’t walk away from me”. Lex merely smirks and goes to leave again when he is attacked from behind.

The crowd are booing as the mystery attacker lowers his hood and Michael Sweetwater is here. Kent and Sweetwater hug and then double team Hart. They drag him up and whip him off the ropes before nailing a double flapjack. Sweetwater scoops Lex on his shoulders as Kent nails the “Genesis Kick” before Sweety spins him into a slam. They stand over Lex and smirk as the crowd boo. The commentators talk about how the students have turned on the master after all these years.

*Anthony Grace has arrived at Madison Square Garden. Clarissa is there to interview but Grace is getting a little too close for comfort. Clarissa walks away but Grace makes a grab at her wrist which is when Brandi Johnson arrives. She urges Grace to let go before she “breaks it”. He sneers at her and wonders how JJ is getting on as a “house husband”. Brandi retorts that at least JJ can be at home with his family, unlike some people. Grace gets up close to Brandi now and he wants her to know that there is very little that she or anyone can do to stop him. Grace wonders what if Oko wins tonight and takes JJ’s stake in the company, Oko is an old friend with mutual acquaintances. He has “friends in high places” and “people that want to see him on the billboards”. Brandi tells him they’ll be “seeing you in a morgue if you ever touch one of my employees like that again” before walking off.

*We see James McManus warming up before the scene switches to GazzyD and Christy. Gazzy is concerned because Christy has been sick but she tells him she is fine and that “you know I hate flying”. Gazzy kisses her head and says that tonight he will win the “Key to the Kingdom” for her, he has a really good feeling about the match.

Christy asks about refereeing later and Gazzy just shrugs. He has been given a job and that is exactly what he will do. She knows there is no ill feeling toward Uryu from him and to be honest he’s more apprehensive at having Johnny Oko in charge of the company. Gazzy assures Christy that he will do the right thing. He goes to kiss her again when he sees a smiling face in the TV screen behind her. He shakes his head and the face is gone but he remains wary as the scene ends.

*We see Liam Wood and Emmy arriving earlier in the day. Liam Wood asks Jack Reynolds if The Callihans are Costello have been seen but it seems they still haven’t arrived or, at least, nobody is aware that they are here. Wood looks tense as Emmy takes him by the hand and leads him inside.

6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10)

Bout 1
Key to the Kingdom Championship
Anthony Grace vs GazzyD vs James McManus vs Liam Wood

*We are ringside and the MSG crowd are vociferous as Michael Bird introduces the brand new “Key to the Kingdom” Championship belt and gets us underway with the introductions. James McManus is the first into the fray and we get a rundown on McManus’ return and that he is 3-0 heading into tonight’s battle. McManus has never been a world champion but winning this championship would put him within touching distance of realising a dream. McManus looks in prime condition as he climbs into the ring and is the first to stare at the championship belt on offer.

*Huge ovation now as “Revival Mode” hits the speakers and Liam Wood enters the fray. There are some audible boos as Jeff Thadeus reminds us we are in “Costello Country”. Wood ignores some of his detractors as he makes his way to the ring and climbs up inside. RJ is talking about how Costello and The Callihans haven’t been seen since “Against the Wall” but there is no way they have just gone to ground. They urge Wood to have eyes in the back of his head tonight as he looks to become world champion for the first time in eight years.

*Boos from the audience now as Anthony Grace oozes onto the stage. He flicks his hair from his face as he has arranged for his own paparazzi to follow him to the ring (think Morrison and Mercury with Melina). Grace drapes himself across two women at ringside and he seems to take a shot of something out of the cleavage of one before swaggering to the ring. The commentators can’t believe what Grace is getting away with but imagine it has something to do with his agents and “status”. It seems the 6CWF Board are being hamstrung by the television companies and the sponsorships desire to see Grace in a position of success.

*GazzyD is the final competitor and the reaction for the “History maker” is enough to blow the roof off the building. The commentary talk about Gazzy pulling double duty tonight as the special referee for the 6CW Championship match later on. They talk about how Gazzy’s soul seems to be healing and it is great to see him getting life back on track and becoming the man that the fanbase has loved since the get go. They wonder if Edward Plague is lurking somewhere in the shadows but RJ believes Plague has made a mistake and Gazzy is impervious to his mindgames. They talk about how Gazzy seemed to bury the hatchet with Uryu last week but that whole dynamic will be interesting if Gazzy was to win tonight, knowing he could go after any championship he wants. Gazzy stares at all of his opponents and then leaps into the ring to join the other three superstars.

*Jeff Thadeus reminds us about how this championship works. The winner can “cash it in” with a week’s notice for any other title in 6CWF, effectively granting them a shot at the big time whenever they feel ready. But they must use it within twelve months or it becomes vacant again. And if they choose to wait then they will be forced to defend the title.

*The referee has final words with all four men and then signals for the bell to start the contest. McManus and Gazzy lockup in the centre of the ring as Liam Wood makes a beeline for Anthony Grace but the Hollywood star leaves the ring to big boos. Wood turns to face the action in the ring and Grace grabs his legs and pulls him out of the ring, lashing him backward against the security railing. Gazzy and McManus are trading forearms and chops. McManus lands a heavy knee to the gut and he whips Gazzy off the ropes but Gazzy handsprings back and takes him down with a twisting headscissors. They get back up and Gazzy sidesteps and sends McManus against the turnbuckle. Gazzy circles the ring and returns with a huge corner dropkick that slumps his foe in a seated position. Gazzy runs back in and nails a slingshot dropkick (ala Jeff Hardy). He gets back up and is drilled by a bulldog from Anthony Grace for a two count.

*Grace looks for the “Thunderstruck” (Famea55er) but Gazzy ducks out of it and then nails the “History maker” (inverted twist of fate). He drags Grace closer to the corner and looks for “starship pain” but McManus is back up on the apron and thunders a forearm smash into Gazzy’s face that knocks him off the ropes to the outside. McManus climbs up high and waits for Grace to rise before leaping into him with a crossbody for a two count. McManus gets up and he wants Grace to rise as Liam Wood leaps from the opposite corner and wipes him out with a flying lariat. Grace is up and runs at Wood but is flapjacked up and across the top rope. Wood drags Grace around and nails a “final cut” suplex. He covers and the referee reaches two before McManus detonates a “knee trembler” to the temple. McManus covers but Wood kicks out on two.

*McManus prepares for the “River Wensum Plunge” as Gazzy springboards back in and twists him into a beautiful tornado DDT. Gazzy rolls out onto the opposite apron and the crowd go wild as he scores with a sensational springboard 450 splash. The count reaches two as Grace runs over and scores with the “Thunderstruck”. He covers Gazzy and has a delighted look on his face until Liam Wood breaks the cover at the final moment. Grace gets up and swings wildly at Wood but misses and is shoves against the ropes. Wood pops Grace up for the “World Eater” but Grace catches his leg on the way down. He spins Wood around and lifts him into a back suplex position before dumping him across the top rope, leaving Wood in a compromised position. Grace runs the opposite ropes and returns with a lariat that sends Wood crashing to the outside. Grace gives Wood the finger but then turns around and is lifted up and drilled by a “Death valley driver” by McManus. Gazzy dives across the ring and breaks the pin at the final moment.

*Gazzy and McManus are left in the ring now and they trade it out. McManus lands a discus forearm that rocks Gazzy and he whips him to the corner. He chases in but Gazzy drives his feet up. Gazzy spins around and leaps onto the second rope before twisting back but McManus catches him on his shoulders. McManus positions Gazzy for the “MK Ultra” but Gazzy rolls down the back. They scramble back up and Gazzy lands a dropkick to McManus’ knees as he runs at him ,staggering him into the ropes. Gazzy dives in and lands a clothesline across the ropes before flipping back onto his feet. He kicks McManus in the gut and sets up for “Deep Impact” but McManus swipes his legs and attempts to lock in the “British figure four”. Gazzy kicks his way free and scrambles up. McManus hits the ropes and bounces back (ala Jon Moxley) and looks for a huge lariat but Gazzy ducks and nails the “skull crushing finale”. He drags McManus to the ropes and nails the “starship pain”. The three count is a definite but Liam Wood places McManus’ foot on the rope at the final minute.

*Wood is back in the ring now as the commentators talk about his past with GazzyD and their days controlled by none other than Edward Plague. The two men go nose to nose and now they are brawling, the crowd split in their support. Wood rocks Gazzy back to the ropes and looks for an Irish whip but Gazzy twists inside and kicks Wood in the stomach. Gazzy looks for “Deep Impact” but Wood swipes his legs and catapults him to the corner. Gazzy lands on the second rope and leaps up top before twisting back but Wood catches him around the throat and nails a chokeslam backbreaker for a two. Wood sets for the “Psycho Crusher” foot stomp but Gazzy avoids it and rolls Wood up for another two. They get up and Gazzy looks to leapfrog but Wood catches him. Wood attempts a “lungblower” but Gazzy counters with a headscissors that sends Wood crashing into the corner. Wood staggers back around and Gazzy scores with “Deep Impact”. The crowd are counting along but Anthony Grace drags Gazzy under the ropes and spits alcohol in his face (which he has taken from his two female “friends” at ringside). Grace smashes Gazzy into the steel steps and leaves him there before returning to the ring.

*Grace stalks Liam Wood now and looks for the “Blockbuster” tornado kick but Wood dodges it and hits a double armed DDT for two. Grace gets up in the corner and Wood explodes into him a yakuza kick. He pulls Grace out a swipes his legs before delighting the fans with a giant swing for twenty seconds. Grace is all at sea as Wood backs up in the corner and then rushes out for the “Psycho Crusher” which lands. James McManus spins Wood around and nails the “River Wensum Plunge” but Wood kicks out on two, much to McManus’ chagrin.

*McManus stomps all over Wood now, showing his aggression, and then signals for the end. He beckons Wood up and scoops him for a “tombstone” but Wood fights off the back and shoves McManus into the corner. McManus comes back and is popped up for the “World Eater” but McManus catches his leg and nails a dragon screw. He then applies the “figure four” as “Woooos” ring around MSG. Wood is in a whole world of pain as McManus shows off his submission prowess. The referee is asking if Wood wants to quit but he desperately tries to get to the ropes. The hold is locked in for a good while and Wood looks on the verge of tapping out as GazzyD delivers an extraordinary “spinal tap” from on high to break the submission. Gazzy gets back up and he wills McManus up and aims to end matters with “Deep Impact” but McManus counters into an elaborate pin by lifting Gazzy over his head and slamming him down for a very close two.

*They fight up and Gazzy runs under a clothesline and dives onto the turnbuckle before springing back and nails a dropkick on Anthony Grace, who is on the walkway. Grace holds on and tries to scramble up. Gazzy climbs back up as Liam Wood hobbles back in and sprints over. Gazzy sidesteps him as Wood leaps through the ropes and spears Grace onto the walkway. Gazzy looks at the devastation and then turns and is lifted up and nailed by James McManus with a “tombstone”. The crowd are stunned as the referee prepares to count to three but Liam Wood throws himself over the top rope at the final second and breaks the pin.

*McManus is angry now and he scrambles back up. He screams for Wood to get up and then runs the ropes and returns with a sickening lariat to the back of the neck. He covers but Wood throws his shoulder off the mat at two. McManus ushers him back up and sets up for the “MK Ultra” but Wood elbows his way off the shoulders. He kicks McManus in the gut for the “Manson Driver” but McManus backs up and backdrops him over the top rope onto the apron. McManus turns and eats a forearm smash from Wood that staggers him. Wood then looks to catapult himself back in but McManus rushes in and catches him on his shoulders. McManus hits Wood with the “MK Ultra” and has the three count until Anthony Grace pulls him off the cover. McManus is momentarily disorientated as Grace sets his feet and nails the “Blockbuster” kick. The referee counts for three but Gazzy pulls Grace from the ring and he returns the favour by tossing a drink in his face and throws him over the barricade, sending him into the laps of his female floozies.

*Gazzy climbs onto the apron now and he looks at Wood and McManus, both of whom are struggling to their feet. He climbs in and then he chooses to nail Wood with “Deep Impact. Wood swipes Gazzy’s feet at the last moment. He catapults Gazzy and sends him into James McManus. Gazzy shows amazing improvisation to twist in midair and he scores with a fantastic monkey flip which sends McManus over the ropes and clattering into Anthony Grace as he tries to make a beeline back for the ring.

*Gazzy gets to his feet as Wood runs at him and looks for the “Psycho Crusher” but Gazzy moves out of the way. Gazzy looks for the “skull crushing finale” but Wood swivels free and kicks Gazzy in the gut. He looks for the “Manson Driver” but Gazzy counters with a backdrop. Gazzy then runs to the ropes and springboards onto them and twists back.

6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10)

JT: CUTTER…

RJ: WORLD EATER….GOT HIM!

JT: WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!

Gazzy twists back through the air as Wood throws his knee up and detonates it into Gazzy’s jaw, leaving him sprawled on the deck. Wood staggers toward the ropes and then collapses…

RJ: HE’S HERE….I DON’T BELIEVE IT!

JT: HE’S GOT A GODDAMN CATTLE PROD!

There is a very mixed reaction from the crowd as Vincent Costello leaps the barricade with a cattle prod in hand and he drives it through the ropes into the spine of Liam Wood, taking his legs from under him. Costello is laughing as he turns to the camera…

Costello: Welcome to New York City, b1tch….

RJ: We wondered when Vincent Costello would turn up….of course he waited for maximum impact…

JT: Striking just as Liam Wood was about to win the “Key to the Kingdom”…..this has Drake Callihan written all over it…

Costello raises the cattle prod to the audience and there are some cheers from his die-hard supporters. He then drives the prod through the ropes again and this time he electrocutes Wood in the side of his neck, leaving him hapless and helpess on the canvass. Gazzy is barely functioning after taking the “World Eater” knee strike but somehow he shifts his arm and drops it on Wood’s chest…

RJ: I can’t believe it is going down this way….

JT: Gazzy doesn’t even know what is happening…

RJ: HE’S DONE IT…

Mike Bird: Ladies and gentlemen here is your winner……...and THE NEW KEY TO THE KINGDOM CHAMPION………….GaaaaazzzzzyyyyyyDDDDD!

JT: You can put all the external factors on the table….you can talk outside interference etc….but what you are watching right now is GazzyD as the brand new, first ever, Key to the Kingdom Champion….he is now one step away from pulling himself back onto the top of the mountain….GazzyD has the literal “Key” in his hand, he controls his own destiny…

RJ: The turnaround in this man’s fortunes...professionally and personally over the last month has been nothing short of miraculous…..GazzyD is holding championship gold once more, GazzyD has done it…

The crowd in MSG are on their feet and going wild as “Limelight” booms through the airwaves. Gazzy is on his knees, bleary eyed, and looks up at the referee as he is presented with his championship…

JT: Gazzy looks emotional and you can understand why….he has been so through much….started at the bottom and now he is here, he is the Key to the Kingdom Champion…

RJ: Anthony Grace and James McManus came close….Liam Wood, without Vincent Costello’s interference, probably came closest….but it is GazzyD who has pulled it off…..GazzyD is rising once more…

“HAHAHAHAHAHAHA…..CONGRATULATIONS, BROTHER”

JT: Oh no…

The crowd are booing and there are stunned faces as the whole arena seems to be glitching. The lights are flickering one and off and the big screen is racing full of pictures, images and video clips of GazzyD. There is the sound of crackling electricity and sparks erupt from the lights above the ring. Gazzy is standing now and looking all around…

RJ: We all heard that voice….we know who that was, Gazzy knows who that was…

JT: We are all just waiting…

*Lights out and the screams of the crowd can be heard

RJ: HE’S HERE, JEFF…

The lights come back up now and Edward Plague is standing in the ring. He is smiling as his tongue flicks out between his teeth and he raises his arms up and out to the side. His eyes are locked on GazzyD…

Plague: This is your second chapter, Gareth….this is where your story takes the turn and pulls you down the rabbit hole….this is when your adventure truly begins...you are ready, my brother, you are ready to step onto the path of enlightenment….for I am nothing but a vessel to deliver you to the truth that you seek….the truth locked deep inside….

JT: Gazzy looks torn…

RJ: He’s been brainwashed by Edward Plague before…

JT: NOT TONIGHT!

Gazzy seems to be weighing up Plague’s words. He then looks at the “Key to the Kingdom” Championship in his hands. He takes a deep breath and then rushes forward and drives the belt at Plague’s head…

RJ: PLAGUE KNEW….PURIFIER!

The crowd groan as Plague ducks the belt shot and immediately drives into Gazzy and lifts him into the devastating “Omega Driver”, really crushing Gazzy’s head and neck into the canvass…

JT: Edward Plague just destroyed the “Key to the Kingdom” Champion…

*Crowd pop

RJ: OH MY….JEFF…

JT: I KNOW, I KNOW…

“Renegades of Funk” suddenly bursts through the speakers as Rex Adamson walks out onto the rampway and in his hand he is holding the…

RJ: FRESHERS BALL…..REX ADAMSON HAS SEEN HIS OPPORTUNITY….

JT: AND HE IS WELL WITHIN HIS RIGHTS…..KEY TO THE KINGDOM IS A SECONDARY CHAMPIONSHIP, REX IS CALLING HIS SHOT…

RJ: He’s capitalising on Edward Plague’s attack…

Plague smirks as he sees Rex on the stage and then he looks down at Gazzy, who is still in a heap, and he says “First you must understand loss before the truth can set you free….it is a necessary suffering”….Plague climbs from the ring on the opposite side as Rex climbs in and hands his briefcase to the referee…

JT: Gazzy can barely even lift his head off the mat…

ding ding

Michael Bird: Ladies and gentlemen, Rex Adamson is cashing in his Freshers Ball contract...the following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the KEY TO THE KINGDOM CHAMPIONSHIP!

*Crowd pop

RJ: This really is “Night of Champions”….

Rex lowers the straps on his singlet and he looks at Gazzy, who is still in a very bad way on the canvass…

Rex: Nothing personal, Gaz….

Rex grabs Gazzy by the hair, the champion offering no resistance, and drags him up and flips him onto his shoulders…

JT: FIRE AND THUNDER DRIVER!

1.

..
...2
..
..
……….3!

ding ding ding

Michael Bird: Ladies and gentlemen here is your winner…..AND NEW KEY TO THE KINGDOM CHAMPION……………..Reeeeeeeeeexxxxxxx Aaaaaddddaaaaaaaaammmmmmmsssssoooooonnnn!

“Renegades of funk” blasts through the speakers as Rex takes the championship belt and hoists it over his head, Gazzy is completely unconscious at his feet. Edward Plague is nowhere to be seen…

JT: I cannot comprehend what has transpired here and I don’t believe I am alone...GazzyD won the Key to the Kingdom, he was subsequently attacked by Edward Plague which opened the door for Rex Adamson to come out here and cash in the Freshers Ball and win the title….Rex Adamson is now the proud owner of the “Key to the Kingdom” Championship and he can call his shot whenever he feels ready to go for any other title he wants in this company…

RJ: Rex wants to be the quickest rookie to ever win a world title and now he has that power in his grasp….you did a great job, Jeff, of surmising what we have just witnessed but nothing can do it justice….this is our first match of the “Night of Champions” and we have had more drama than you see in a month….

JT: If this is a sign of things to come….well I’d say buckle up, folks, because this is going to be a wild one…

Rex Adamson has climbed onto the ropes now and is continuing to celebrate with his championship as the referee and a ringside doctor check on the condition of Gazzy.

6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10)

*Cody Walker is getting ready for his upcoming match when Alex Walker enters. Alex assures his son that he isn’t here to try and talk him out of anything, he just wanted to wish him luck. Cody looks unsure but he thanks his father. Alex walks outside and he sees Eddy Kent and Michael Sweetwater coming toward him. He smiles as he greets them and we hear him say “This is what I have been waiting for” before all three walk off.

*Backstage and Johnny Oko is being interviewed inside the 6CWF Boardroom. Diablo is sat on the opposite side of the desk, watching and listening, as Oko tells Tim Allen that tonight he will seize the “chikara” in 6CWF and alter the entire landscape. Brandi Johnson walks in now and she glares at Oko. She says “You’re in my husbands seat”. He stands and bows at her before saying “Not for long” and then walks out. Brandi is left looking concerned and Diablo places an arm on her shoulders.

*Rex Adamson is “whooping” as he strides into the backstage area with the “Key to the Kingdom” Championship over his shoulder. He comes across Mike Hill and they share a staredown. Rex tells Hill that his championship is safe because he has bigger fish to fry and that means becoming the fastest ever world champion in history….Rex asks Hill to remind him who currently holds the record….Hill has gritted teeth as he says “me” and Rex laughs at him and walks off shouting “AND THE NEW”.

*We see Trevor Abrahams from VIP Promotions arriving at MSG and the commentators are wondering why he is here.

*Gazzy is shown backstage. He staggering in the corridors and then drops to one knee as he seems to be getting flashbacks of what has just happened to him at ringside. The lights in the hall flicker on and off as a voice speaks to him in the darkness

“Follow me, Gazzy…..follow me and I will show you the way”

Gazzy yells “NO” as the lights come back on and Christy is standing there looking extremely worried. She kneels down and hugs her husband as the scene ends.

6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10)

Bout 2
Cassidy vs Cody Walker

*Back out to ringside and the fans are all fired up after the video package for the next contest. Cody Walker is the first out and he is met by a huge reaction from the New York crowd. He is dressed in a red, white and blue singlet with matching tassels. He takes off some of his tassels and hands them to some of his younger supporters at ringside before leaping up into the ring. He rubs his chest where he was “branded” and then fixes his gaze back on the stage.

*Cassidy arrives to huge boos from the MSG audience. He doesn’t seem to care as he swaggers onto the stage and holds his arms wide. He welcomes the negative reaction with an arrogant smirk as he crosses the walkway toward the ring.

*Cody has seen enough and sprints to the ropes before somersaulting over the top rope into a takedown, sending himself and Cassidy rolling across the walkway. Cassidy gets up and Walker crashes forearms into his face, knocking him back toward the ring, and then runs at him. Cassidy drops his shoulder and backdrops Walker over the top into the ring but he lands on his feet. Cassidy turns and Walker lands a step-up kick to the face before catapulting back over the ropes and this time he spins Cassidy into a huge tornado DDT on the walkway.

*Cody nails a standing 450 splash and then he drags Cassidy up and chucks him through the ropes into the ring. Cassidy gets to his feet as Walker springboards back in but he is caught and snapped down with a stiff powerbomb for a two count. Cassidy stomps down on Walker and then he rags him up toward the corner and suplexes him against the turnbuckle, leaving Cody upside down. Cassidy chokes Walker with his foot and stomps down on him viciously before he is backed away by the referee. Cassidy takes up position on the opposite side of the ring and waits for Cody to get up and then sprints across for the “sins of our father” spear but Cody sidesteps last minute and sends his opponent against the turnbuckle. Cody nails a poisonrana that dumps Cassidy on the back of his neck, sending him rolling backward onto his knees in the centre of the ring. Cody then springs onto the middle rope and flies back with a knee strike to the face of his kneeling opponent for a two count.

*Cassidy rolls from the ring, holding his jaw. Cody runs the ropes and launches over with another mesmerising corkscrew senton but Cassidy moves and Walker crashes against the edge of the Spanish announce desk. Cassidy drags Walker up and whips him into the steel steps. He lets Cody up and then lifts him into a sidewalk slam. He spins him around and then slams him down ontop of the steel steps. Cassidy rolls back in and orders the referee to count.

*The count reaches eight as Cody pulls himself back on the apron. Cassidy makes a beeline for him and looks to suplex him back into the ring but Cody shows amazing athleticism to float over and drop into a backstabber that sends Cassidy flipping through the air and across the canvass. They get back up and Cody nails a stiff step-up enzeguiri, leaving Cassidy on his feet but out of it, and then he springboards off the ropes and returns with a huge European uppercut for a two count.

*Cody heads for the corner and climbs high. He waits for Cassidy to get up and then walks along the ropes to the middle and then turns off into a moonsault takedown. He then runs the ropes and returns with “rolling thunder” (Dice) as the crowd go wild. Cody drags Cassidy back up and scoops him onto his shoulders before nailing a swing off pele kick (Dolphin Blow). Cassidy is flat on his back as Walker rolls back to the corner and leaps high. He signals to the crowd and then throws himself into the “Highwind” (Coffin Drop) but Cassidy moves at the final moment.

*Cassidy stalks Cody now before nailing “Idolatry” (zigzag neckbreaker) for a two count. Cassidy pulls Cody up and looks for a suplex but Walker floats over the back. Cody shoves Cassidy into the ropes and drops his head for a backdrop but Cassidy counters with a facebuster across his knee (ala Triple H). Cody is staggers backward and Cassidy rips through him with the “Sins of our father” (Spear) but Cody is too close to the ropes and is able to break the count.

*Cassidy is looking for the kill now and he beckons Walker up for the “Purification” (Judas Effect) but Cody ducks it and sprints the ropes before returning with a slingblade. They get back up up and Walker leaps into a heel kick knockdown near the corner. Cody does a lap and then sprints back in and uses the top rope to push himself into an inverted imploding 450 splash on his foe. He drags Cassidy away from the ropes and this time he scores with the “Highwind” (Coffin Drop) but Cassidy kicks out.

*Cody sets up for the “Ultima Weapon” (One Winged Angel) but Cassidy swivels around front and locks in the “Atonement” (Hell’s Gate) that drags Cody down to the floor. Walker is in all manner of trouble with the choke but somehow he twists his body so he is on top of Cassidy and the referee counts, forcing Cassidy to release the submission or get pinned. They scramble back up and Cassidy sidesteps and sends Cody into the ropes. Cody handsprings in and flies back into a backflip inverted DDT as the crowd go wild. He quickly rushes for the corner and goes high. He wills Cassidy up and leaps into the “Howling Moon” (Flying fame-a55er) but Cassidy moves at the final second and sends him crashing into the mat. Cassidy follows up with a lionsault for a two count.

*Cassidy is seething at the referee for his count and has words with the official. He grabs Walker by the head and flips him for a powerbomb but Cody drops out front and shoves Cassidy back into the corner. Cody runs in but eats double knees to the face. Cassidy runs out for another spear but Cody counters with a drop toe hold before backflipping into a double foot stomp to the spine. He backs up in the corner and ushers Cassidy up. He spins out for the “Masamune” (Trouble in Paradise) but Cassidy ducks it at the final moment and in one motion nails the “Judas Effect” elbow. The impact lands on Cody’s jaw but sends him through the ropes to the outside.

*Cassidy is livid as he rolls out and is forced to haul Walker back up. He gets him back in and makes the cover but enough time has elapsed for Cody to just get his shoulder up off the mat. Cassidy is full rage now as he drags Cody’s face off the mat. He slaps him and talks down to him before dragging him to his feet. He tells Cody “You don’t belong here” before leaping up for the “Heavenly Hosts “(RKO) but Cody swivels his body and counters with a backslide for the surprise three count.

*The crowd are going wild as Cody rolls from the ring and fist pumps the air. The fans are reaching over and slapping him on the back as Cassidy is throwing a full fit in the ring. He is throwing himself around the canvass, slapping his palms into the mat and crashing his elbows down (old school Christian style tantrum). Cody is laughing as the commentators talk about the vindication he must be feeling after Cassidy tried to disfigure him. Cody climbs onto the barricade, in front of his fans, and celebrates his huge victory before hopping down into the front row where he high fives a young boy and girl. Cassidy is on all fours now, his eyes full of hatred, and he froths from the mouth as he watches Cody’s celebration.

6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10)

Post by JJJohnson Mon 07 Aug 2023, 5:28 pm

*Uryu Ishida is sitting with Brandi Johnson in the Boardroom whilst JJ Johnson can be seen on “Skype”. He is thanking Uryu for stepping up tonight and fighting for the future of 6CWF. Uryu merely says he is doing what is expected of a fighting champion. He excuses himself. JJ and Brandi get ready to talk now when the door opens and Trevor Abrahams is there. He says he came to talk over a few things and wondered if Brandi had a minute, he says “by all means” JJ can sit in on the meeting as the screen fades out.

*Cody Walker arrives back at his locker-room and he has been left a hamper. He lifts up the note and it says “From a proud father”. He can’t help but smile as the scene switches and Cassidy is sitting in the shadows. He is thinking about his next move. There is a knock at the door and he makes his way over and opens it but nobody is there. A gift has been left on the floor. He picks it up and unwraps it. It is a purple box with a wind-up mechanism. The mechanism begins to twirl and then the head of a clown pops out of it and we hear a very distinctive laughter filling the air.

*Christy is sitting with Gazzy now and it is clear he is still in a bad way. Christy doesn’t want to say it but she is also concerned about the upcoming match and what might happen to Uryu and 6CWF if Johnny Oko wins. Gazzy hugs her and looks at his watch. The screen says “13:46”. He looks at it again and shakes it, now it says “19:46”. Gazzy tells Christy he needs to think because he isn’t sure he is in the right frame of mind to referee tonight and that Uryu’s chances would be better off with a real referee.

*Liam Wood is on the hunt for Vincent Costello in the backstage area. Drake and Kelsey Callihan are talking when Wood spins Drake around and pins him against the wall. Kelsey shrieks and then Costello attacks Wood from behind. He drags him up and launches his head against the wall, leaving a huge dent in the plaster, before he repeatedly stomps down on Wood until he isn’t moving. Drake Callihan grabs Costello by the shoulder and pulls him away, saying “It isn’t time” but Costello gets up in Callihan’s face now and says “It’s time when I say it’s time”…..he looks down at Wood and then backs away before running back in with a thunderous kick that puts Wood’s head through the plasterboard. Costello kneels down and says “Have a nap, Liam, you’ve had a long day…..and don’t worry, I’ll take care of Emmy for you”. Drake and Kelsey Callihan look unnerved as Costello walks off.

*We see Uryu makes his way to ringside and receiving plenty of good luck measures from backstage personnel. The scene changes and we see Johnny Oko exiting his lockerrom with his Geishas.

6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10)

Post by JJJohnson Mon 07 Aug 2023, 5:29 pm

Bout 3
6CW World Championship
*If Oko wins he receives JJ Johnson's share of 6CWF
Uryu Ishida (c) vs Johnny Oko
Special Referee: GazzyD

*Back to ringside and the commentators are still wondering if GazzyD is in the right frame of mind to come out here and referee the following contest. Johnny Oko then arrives with his usual fanfare as Michael Bird makes the introductions. Oko stands up in the centre of the ring, his dark eyes fixed on the stage.

*Uryu then arrives and is blown away by the reception from the 6CWF fans. He looks overwhelmed by the cheers and the receptions. Pyros explode all along the front of the stage as the 6CW Champion makes his way down to the ring and leaps inside. He and Oko stare each other down as the commentators talk about what is on the line. Oko raises his head and stares into Uryu’s eyes before smirking. He clicks his fingers and all of a sudden seven of his “King’s Guard” start to walk out onto the stage as the crowd boo.

*Uryu stares at Oko now as the challenger backs to the ropes and climbs out. The world champion takes position in the centre of the ring as Oko’s men surround the ring. The commentators are talking about a blatant “abuse of power” and how we saw something similar at “Against the Wall” during Oko’s match with GazzyD.

*Uryu throws caution to the wind as he steps forward and drives a furious martial arts kick into #1’s stomach as he climbs through the ropes. #2 is on the ropes and leaps off as Ishida spins and superkicks him in the stomach, doubling him up. Uryu grabs him by the scruff of the neck and throws him over the ropes, taking out #3 and #4. #5 has a kendo stick and lashes it across Uryu’s back. #6 (much bigger) drops Uryu with a huge clothesline as #7 leaps off the top rope and lands a big time legdrop across the throat. Oko is pacing the outside as all 7 of his guards are back up now.

* #4 and #5 pull up the ring apron now and we’ve got two tables being slid inside the ring as the crowd watch on in dismay. The commentators are talking about how close we are to the “biggest heist in 6CWF”. Uryu is being dragged up by #1 and #2 whilst #6 waits in the wings to deliver a “Shield Powerbomb” as the tables are assembled side by side.

*We get a shot of backstage and a concerned Christy James is watching on the monitors and biting her nails. She looks very worried and is gasping at the beating Uryu is taking. There is a sigh from behind her and she turns but all we see is the door swinging shut.

*The crowd are watching on with real concern now until “Limelight” rips through the speakers and every single fan is on their feet. GazzyD is walking out across the walkway now as Johnny Oko is yelling at his “guards” to get prepared. RJ is talking about how Gazzy is the “assigned official” so what exactly are Oko’s men going to do?

*Gazzy climbs through the ropes now and he is pointing at his referee’s badge and ordering Oko’s men from the ring. They all just stare at him and then #6 throws Uryu down at Gazzy’s feet and points at him. Oko is smirking now as he sees his guards are goading Gazzy to attack Uryu after everything he has done. Uryu is hurting but slowly raises his head to look at Gazzy, who glares back down at him.

*Gazzy looks around again and gives a “final warning” but Oko’s men don’t look prepared to leave the ring. Gazzy shrugs his shoulders and then he runs forward, using Uryu’s back as a springboard, and he leaps through the air with a double dropkick to the chest of #1 and #2 which sends them from the ring.

*#3 whips a kendo stick at Gazzy but he ducks it and snatches the weapon before lashing it across the head of his attacker. He then spins and crashes it into the stomach of #4 and then into the neck of #5. #6 bench presses #7 and throws him at Gazzy, knocking him into the corner and forcing him to drop the weapon.

*Gazzy gets up as #6 starts up the engine and looks for a huge “ho train” splash (ala The Godfather) but Gazzy moves at the final minute. He beckons the big man around and drills him with “Deep Impact” as the crowd go wild.

* #1 is back now and he attacks Gazzy and whips him off the ropes. He drops his head for a backdrop but Gazzy lashes a kick into his feet, staggering him, and then Uryu is up and he superkicks him in the back of the head, leaving him slumped across one of the tables. #2 enters the fray but Gazzy and Uryu dodge his attack and they nail tandem step up enzeguiris to the side of his head which sends him staggering across the other table. The crowd go wild now as Uryu heads to the corner and Gazzy climbs onto the apron. Uryu hits the “Split Second” as Gazzy springboards back in with his own 450 that crushes both men through the tables.

*The crowd are going wild now as Gazzy heads to the corner and he climbs up before launching himself out of the ring with a crossbody that takes down #3, #4, #5 and #7. Uryu is kicking all the wreckage and debris from the ring and then he turns around and is splattered by the “K-Oko” kick from Johnny Oko. Oko is kneeling now and urging a new referee from the back.

*There is an ultra pop as Brandi Johnson walks out onto the stage and heads to the ring. Johnny Oko looks incensed as he steps toward her but she kicks him right between the legs, sending reverberations around MSG. She climbs back from the ring and is telling the camera “This our house” as she leaves the ringside area.

*Uryu is groggy and hurting as he stumbles back to his feet. Gazzy rolls back in the ring now and they have a full blown staredown. Gazzy is rubbing his temples and for a moment he looks as though he is struggling with his mental faculties but then snaps out of it. Uryu watches Oko trying to get up to his feet and then he runs the ropes and returns with a full blooded shining wizard to the face.

*Uryu looks around at the cheering masses and then he grabs Oko’s arm and he twists it around and bridges over into the “Sunset” (bridging Fujiwara). Oko is screaming in pain but he is refusing to quit. He tries to thrash his way free but he cannot as Uryu twists and bends the arm at a sickening angle. There is a cracking sound heard as Oko furiously taps his hand to the mat and the commentators talk about how it is almost ironic that Oko has been defeated by the submission he has used to strike fear into so many in 6CWF.

*Oko rolls from the ring clutching his arm, potentially broken, as Uryu is declared the winner and the crowd in attendance go wild. Gazzy takes the 6CW Championship from the timekeeper and he holds the belt in his arms for a good few moments until Uryu turns to face him and sees him holding the title. There is a moment of uncertainty before Gazzy hands Uryu belt and points to him, declaring him the winner of the match. Gazzy nods and then climbs from the ring, leaving Ishida to celebrate.

*The commentators talk about how Gazzy was able to put his earlier disappointment aside and call this one professionally, coming out on the side of Uryu Ishida which will be a surprise to many. They wonder whether Edward Plague will be second guessing his attempts to brainwash Gazzy as nothing seems to be working.

*Uryu’s celebrations continue as Jeff Thadeus is talking about how Johnny Oko’s stake in the company has gone and JJ Johnson now has a firmer hold on proceedings when he chooses to return, major thanks must go to Uryu for that and his wife for showing no fear in the face of adversity. RJ mentions how JJ’s “enemies” should now be fully aware that Mrs Johnson is just as formidable a match as her husband is.

6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10)

Post by JJJohnson Mon 07 Aug 2023, 5:31 pm

*The crowd are stunned to see Jerome Dubois backstage with Tim Allen. It seems Dubois has taken it personally that he hasn’t been invited to 6CWF to ply his trade. He is proclaiming himself the hottest “free agent” on the market when he is interrupted by O’Callaghan. OC rips on Dubois and says he wasn’t invited because he’s (beep) and the whole world knows it. OC laughs and says 6CWF is for the big boys, the elite level talent, like himself….the soon to be brand new 6CWF European Champion. Dubois is left raging as O’Callaghan walks away.

*Gazzy is backstage when Uryu catches up with him. Uryu extends a hand and Gazzy shakes it. They stare at one another for a moment and then Gazzy walks away. Uryu then finds himself surrounded, once more, by Robin Reborn and his crew. Reborn asks Uryu “have you heard the news?” but then follows up and says “Probably not, I doubt they consider yo a55 for important decisions”...he tells Uryu he should pay attention because he’s about to find out that there are levels to his game and Uryu is out of lives. Ishida looks confused as Reborn walks away.

*Back in the Boardroom and Trevor Abrahams is voicing his disapproval as Brandi Johnson returns. Brandi tells Abrahams that he needs to remember who he works for and that had Johnny Oko just won then they all would have been out of a job. Alex Walker is looking over a document that Abrahams has brought with him. He turns and says “Is this a (beeping) joke?”. Abrahams looks affronted as Walker turns to Brandi and says “Have you seen this (beep)?” Brandi begrudgingly nods her head as Abrahams says “The board were unanimous in their decision….they believe, as do Amazon, that this will boost ratings”. Walker scoffs and asks Abrahams “How much they pay you?” Abrahams looks uneasy as he stands up and leaves. Walker is shaking his head and says to Brandi “Are you telling him? Or am I? I can’t believe this (beep) is going to fly….they really want to put this on at Beachfront Brawl? (beep) me”. The scene ends with Brandi looks annoyed
.

*Clarissa is interviewing Mike Hill about his upcoming match with O’Callaghan. Mike Hill says OC is a decent wrestler but he’s still stuck in 2017 and his “potential phase”. Mike Hill doesn’t know about “potential” because he hit the ground running in his career and was world champion within six months. He asks Clarissa to name someone else who has done that. She says nobody but Rex Adamson has a chance. Hill looks annoyed by Clarissa and walks off.
*Anthony Grace is sitting in the VIP lounge with his two “friends” from earlier. He is drinking champagne and getting very touchy feely with his guests. He gets a phone message and he looks at it before smirking. He then tells the waiter “Ten more bottles….we’re celebrating” and laughs as he buries himself in the cleavage of one of his guests.

6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10)

Post by JJJohnson Mon 07 Aug 2023, 5:34 pm

Bout 4
European Championship
Mike Hill (c) vs O’Callaghan

*The MSG fans are already humming along to “Run this town” before it even hits the speakers. Smoke billows from backstage and then golden lights and golden pyros explode into the air as the challenger makes his entrance. O’Callaghan is dressed in a golden robe and he conducts the audience as he makes his way to the ring. The commentators talk about how OC is competing for his first championship back in 6CWF and how this could be the moment he kickstarts his career once more.

*Mike Hill then saunters out. He is talking to the camera about how he is the “epitome of Night of Champions”. He leaps into the ring and crotch chops at O’Callaghan as the referee keeps them apart. The crowd continue to hum OC’s music but Hill just turns to them and gives them the middle finger.

*The bell sounds to get the contest underway and the two men lockup in the centre of the ring. OC drops to a knee and looks to take Hill’s back but Hill swivels around and leaps over O’Callaghan’s shoulder to drag him into a pin for a close two from nowhere. They get back up and Hill looks for a step up enzeguiri but OC catches his leg and drops him, applying an anklelock. Hill scrambles for the ropes but OC drags him back to the centre. Hill throws himself a forward roll that sends OC into the turnbuckle, breaking the submission, and he rolls him up for another close two.

*They get up and Hill dodges a clothesline and springs off the ropes for a tornado DDT but O’Callaghan keeps his feet and counters with a northern lights suplex for a two count. OC grabs Hill’s arm and pulls him up into an overhead belly to belly suplex but Hill amazingly rolls upon impact and gets to his feet. OC gets up and Hill lands a backheel kick to the gut, doubling him up. Hill looks for “Diamond Dust” (Over the Hill) but OC locks his hands around the waist and bridges into a German for two.

*OC underhooks Hill’s arm and flips him into a backbreaker before heading for the corner. The MSG crowd are behind the Irishman as he twirls off into a 360 splash but the champion moves at the final minute. Hill staggers up and nails a lionsault to the back of his challenger. He rolls him over and covers but OC kicks out on two. Hill stomps down on OC and then nails a running low dropkick to the face before heading to the corner. He climbs up and looks for “Mike Time” (450 splash) but lands across the challenger’s knees. OC is up and he applies a coquina clutch, dragging the champion to the floor. Hill is in all kinds of trouble and looks to be fading but he manages to roll his body backward so he is pinning OC to the mat and the challenger is forced to release the hold.

*They get back up and OC scores with an overhead belly to belly. He ushers Hill back up and lifts him into a big spinning back suplex before he heads for the corner again and this time he succeeds in landing the 360 splash but the champion finds a way to kick out. Hill stumbles up and OC tries to lock in another coquina clutch. Hill struggles and fights it so O’Callaghan lifts him up for a slam but Hill locks his heels and rolls forward into a pinning combo for another close two.

*Hill goes to the knees with a dropkick as they get up and then runs the ropes and returns with a flying dropkick to the back of the skull. He clambers out onto the apron and springboards back in with a legdrop to the back of the neck but again it is a two count. Hill orders the referee to count quicker. He beckons OC up and lifts him into an inverted atomic drop. He looks to follow up with a spinning heel kick but O’Callaghan catches his leg again and applies the sharpshooter as the crowd go wild. Hill is screaming in pain as he desperately scrambles for the ropes. He misses the bottom one as OC drags him back to toward the centre but Hill manages to twist his body out and pulls OC into a small package for a close call.

*Back up and Hill runs the ropes but returns into a tilt-a-whirl, only for him to counter with an armdrag. OC gets up and Hill leaps into him for a hurricanrana but he catches him and drops him backward with a “hotshot” across the top rope. Hill ends up draped across the middle rope as OC gives the signal and nails the 619. The crowd are going wild now as he springboards back in with an impressive frogsplash but the champion shows great resolve to kick out.

*Hill rolls from the ring now but OC baseball slides him in the back and sends him into the barrier. He rolls out after the champion and looks for a German suplex on the concrete but Hill uses the ring apron to run up and wall flip, nailing the “Over the Hill” on the solid flooring as the crowd wince at the impact. Hill rolls back in the ring and demands the referee count. The official leans through the ropes and gives the count. The audience desperately will OC on and he just beats the count at nine.

*Hill looks annoyed as he stomps down on OC and then drags him up for another “Over the Hill” but OC shoves him away. Hill runs back over but O’Callaghan sidesteps and sends him into the turnbuckle before scoring with a fantastic chaos theory suplex. Hill stumbles back up as OC runs the ropes and returns with a flying forearm smash to the side of the neck but the champion succeeds in kicking out. OC looks for another coquina clutch but Hill throws his head forward and succeeds in sending OC over his shoulder to the mat. They get up and Hill scores with a drop toe hold. He attempts to turn OC into the liontamer but is kicked away. They get up again and Hill scores with a spinning heel kick and then a standing shooting star for a two count.

*Hill pulls OC up for a piledriver but his legs are swiped. He is catapulted to the corner and hits his head before staggering back out. O’Callaghan hits a snap dragon suplex for two. The challenger pulls Hill up and whips him off the ropes. He pops him up on the comeback but Hill counters in midair with a “hillcanrana” which he transitions into a pin. He grabs the ropes for more leverage and looks to have stolen one but the referee spots the infringement in time.

*The referee is warning Hill for his conduct but the champion shrugs him off. He pulls OC up and connects with a snap suplex. He then heads to the ropes and starts to climb up, facing out toward the crowd. OC shows great spirit and determination to stagger up and swipe Hill’s legs, leaving him crotched on the top rope, facing out. OC climbs up now and the crowd are willing him on as he prepares for a huge top rope German suplex but the champion stuns everyone by countering into an astonishing top rope “Over the Hill” (Diamond Dust). He makes the cover and it is academic.

*The crowd are booing but there are applause for the finishing move and the quality of the contest. Hill is presented his European Championship and he raises it high before looking down at O’Callaghan with a smirk. The commentators talk about how there are few superstars who boast a clean win over O’Callaghan but Mike Hill has pulled it off. Jeff Thadeus believes we might be seeing somewhat of a renaissance in Hill’s career and that, potentially, he is hitting a peak. RJ says that is another title defence in the bag and Hill is putting the rest of 6CWF on notice.

6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10)

Post by JJJohnson Mon 07 Aug 2023, 5:39 pm

*Tim Allen is talking with Alex Walker and he wants to ask him about the upcoming “triple threat for an unknown opportunity”. Walker says it was his idea and a great way for any superstar who has hit a stumbling block to get their career back on track. Allen wants to know what the “opportunity” is but Walker says “all in good time”.

*Oliver Keane and Daniel Reilly are getting ready backstage. Keane is hyping Reilly up and telling him that now is the time to get his career back on track. He tells Reilly that the whole world has forgotten the “King of the streets” but it is time for him to reclaim his throne and show the world why he is a former two time world champion.

*Scene changes again and Vincent Costello is sitting in Liam Wood’s locker-room as Emmy walks out of the shower. She shrieks and almost drops her towel. Costello stands and gets close to her. He asks “Did you ever tell him?” as he brushes her hair over her ear. She leans in closer and says “I remember that scent” before backing away with a dangerous smile. He leaves the room as Emmy is left look terrified.

6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10)

Post by JJJohnson Mon 07 Aug 2023, 5:41 pm

*We are back at ringside now and the commentators are hyping the Blue Dragon and Geoff Steel conflict from “Against the Wall”. We get clips of that match and the altercation between the two of them in the hospital afterward.

Blue Dragon arrives to a very mixed reception from the MSG crowd. He says he knows Geoff Steel is here and they have unfinished business. So let’s cut the (beep) and get this done. Huge “Geoff Steel” chants all around and the crowd go wild as their hero makes his entrance. It is clear that neither man is 100% as a wall of security suddenly fan out in front of Steel to block him from getting to ringside. More security head down toward Blue Dragon and he smirks.

BD blames Steel for “running for help” but Steel is on the mic now and says this has nothing to do with him, he’s happy to rip Dragon apart right here and right now.

Diablo is here now and he has a message for Blue Dragon. As of right now the only way he gets another match with a member of the 6CWF roster is if he signs a contract to become a full time member of the roster. Otherwise he won’t be setting foot in any building that 6CWF is in, ever again.

BD smirks and tells Diablo to bring his poxy contract to Las Vegas next week and he’ll sign it….but one condition…..that Geoff Steel agrees to face him at Beachfront Brawl…..Steel says Dragon can have any damn match he wants because they are finishing this….Dragon has an evil smile on his face now as he informs Steel that their match at Beachfront Brawl will be an Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch…..the whole crowd is going wild as the commentators hype up a certain bloodbath. Security continue to keep Steel and Dragon apart as Jeff Thadeus hypes next week in Las Vegas for the contract signing before Steel and Dragon renew hostilities once more.

*Backstage again and we see Brandi Johnson waiting outside as The Saint arrives, sparking a huge roar from the audience inside. The commentators hype The Saint and Clarke James going head to head later tonight.

*We see Cameron Faith entering the arena before the scene changes again. Christy James is in the bathroom and she is looking down at something, biting her lip. She takes a deep breath and says “Cmon Christy, you can do this”….she then looks back in the mirror and shrieks as a figure is standing behind her. She turns but nobody is there. She looks back at the mirror and “1346” has been written on the mirror in her lipstick. She grabs something from the sink and stuffs it in her bag before hurrying out. A sinister laugh can be heard somewhere in the distance.

*Uryu is on the rooftops, looking out at the spiderweb of New York City when Alex Walker joins him. Walker says Uryu did himself and 6CWF proud here tonight by banishing Johnny Oko. He says they are sure Oko’s arm was broken and he ran out of here with his tail between his legs. Uryu nods but asks Walker why he is really there because he didn’t come to stroke Uryu’s ego.

Walker says Uryu is the world champion and that means the chasing pack are always just one step away….he says the Board were due to meet to discuss challengers for Beachfront Brawl but it seems VIP Promotions have made a decision for them…..Uryu closes his eyes and smiles, he says “Now it makes sense”….Walker asks what he means and Uryu recounts the run in with Robin Reborn….

Walker nods and says nobody downstairs believes Reborn is a worthy challenger, he’s had one match since his return….but it seems Amazon Prime have a “hard on” for him and want to see him up in lights, they’ve put the pressure on and got what they wanted…

“Aren’t you forgetting someone?” is the call from behind and they both turn to see a half-cut Anthony Grace, an empty bottle of champagne in his hand….Walker sighs and tells Uryu that it seems Grace still has “supporters in the industry” so “meet your second opponent for Beachfront Brawl”….Uryu just stares at Grace before the new challenger lashes the champagne bottle toward him…Uryu catches the bottle and sets it down gently….

Walker says “I’m sorry”…..and Grace says “what are you apologising to him for? He should be grateful that he gets to share the spotlight with a megastar like me” but Walker shakes his head and walks away. We hear the door to the roof close and Grace, with a smirk, turns back toward Uryu…

“You’re days as a champion….”

He stops talking as it becomes clear that Uryu has vanished, leaving Grace alone with his thoughts up on the roof of the building.

*Eddy Kent and Michael Sweetwater are talking ahead of the upcoming match. Kent knows that Sweetwater has his back and it’s good to have the band back together. Sweetwater tells Kent to “Genesis baby” as they touch knuckles and Kent heads for ringside.

6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10)

Post by JJJohnson Mon 07 Aug 2023, 5:42 pm

Bout 5
*Winner will receive an unknown opportunity*
Eddy Kent vs Daniel Reilly vs Cameron Faith

*Daniel Reilly is being accompanied to the ring by Oliver Keane as we return to ringside. The commentators are talking about how Alex Walker has devised this triple threat match and how we aren’t sure what the “Unknown opportunity” is but Walker has promised it will give the winner’s career an “injection”.

*Faith is met by cheers as he joins the fray. Jeff Thadeus talks about how all three men in this match are currently struggling for form but each one has unquestionable “main event level” talent. Faith climbs into the ring to join Reilly as we get a clip of him “superkicking” Oliver Keane last week. Keane is holding his jaw now and pointing at Faith, letting Reilly know he wants receipts delivered.

*MSG is full of boos as Eddy Kent arrives on the stage. We get a recap on the attack earlier tonight from Kent and Michael Sweetwater on Lex Hart. It seems Kent is looking to his past in order to shape his future following two failed attempts at becoming world champion. Kent sneers at his opponents as the referee has final conversations with all participants.

*Reilly and Faith circle one another and lockup. Reilly applies a side headlock as Faith bounces into the ropes and shoves his man across the ring. Reilly comes back with a shoulder block takedown and then he welcomes Faith up and launches him into a hiptoss. Reilly has his eyes set on the next attack when Eddy Kent clotheslines him over the top rope onto the walkway. Kent drags Faith up and underhooks his leg before scooping him into a fisherman’s neckbreaker, dropping Faith’s neck across his knee for a two count.

*Kent drags Faith up and scores with a big suplex before he bounces off the ropes and returns with a knee drop to the head. He ushers him back to his feet and pulls him in close for a “Mic Check” but Faith elbows his way free and then lands a pele kick that floors Kent and leaves him in a heap. Faith stumbles to the corner and he goes high before landing a flying elbow to the heart but Kent catches his arm on the landing and transitions into an armbar on the deck. Faith is struggling to get free and looks in a lot of trouble as Daniel Reilly comes from on high and lands a frogsplash to break the submission. Reilly drags Kent up and scores with a flip-up fallout neckbreaker for another two count.

*Reilly stalks for the RKO but he is shoved into the ropes and dropped with a Russian legsweep from Kent. Kent gets to his feet and he beckons Reilly up before scooping him onto his shoulders. He looks for a rolling fireman’s slam but Reilly falls off back and counters with an inverted headlock backbreaker (ala Randy Orton). Reilly sees Faith climbing up on the apron and he leaps into a spectacular dropkick that sends Faith flying into the announce area. Reilly rolls back around and he pulls Kent into a suplex before twisting him out into slam for a two.

*Faith is back on the apron again and Reilly grabs his head. He pulls him through the middle and sets up for the hangman’s DDT but Faith steps off at the last minute and then pulls Reilly into him and nails a “downward spiral” against the ropes, leaving Reilly in a heap. Reilly rolls from the ring, holding his throat, as Faith runs the ropes and returns with a suicide dive, sparking a huge roar from the audience. Faith gets back on the apron and he sees Kent getting up as he catapults over the ropes with a double foot stomp to the chest that drives Kent down into the canvass (ala Cameron Grimes). Kent stumbles back up and Faith backbreakers him into a neckbreaker (Ghetto Blaster) for a nearfall.

*Faith works the audience now and they will him on. He stands in the corner and stomps his foot. He waits for Kent to get up and then leaps out with the “Act of Faith” superkick but Kent ducks and nails the “Mic Check”. The three count looks a certainty but Reilly breaks the count up. He drags Kent up and launches him out of the ring before focusing back on Faith. He screams for him to get up and looks for the “RKO” but Faith shoves him away into the corner and then he cartwheels in and nails a huge forearm to the jaw. Faith lifts Reilly up high and nails a huge superplex before climbing back up the ropes and scores with the “Leap of faith” double rotation moonsault. The referee counts to three but Oliver Keane places Reilly’s foot on the ropes.

*Faith is furious as he rolls from the ring to confront Keane. Keane is backing away, pleading for mercy, but Faith is having none of it. Eddy Kent is back up and he crushes Faith’s head against the ringpost with the “Genesis Kick” (brogue kick). Kent sneers at Oliver Keane and then rolls back in the ring. He beckons for Reilly to stand now and he attempts to take him out with the “Genesis kick” but Reilly dodges it and scores a snap hurricanrana takedown. Kent gets back up and runs over but Reilly pops him up and explodes with a European uppercut as he lands. Kent kicks out on two.

*Kent stumbles up as Reilly ducks in behind him and lifts him into an electric chair position. He walks to the ropes and then throws Kent off, guillotining him across the top rope and sending him over onto the apron. Reilly drags Kent back through and scores with the hangman’s DDT but Kent just manages to get his arm up off the mat in time. Reilly looks frustrated now as he stalks for the “RKO” but Kent spins him around and drills him with a spike DDT for a two count. Reilly crawls to the corner and sits for some rest but Kent thunders into him with a facewash kick (ala Matt Cardona). He pulls Reilly away and covers him another kickout.

*Kent stalks now and wants the “Kentlock” but Reilly drives him back into the corner. He explodes with shoulder thrusts to the stomach and then lifts Kent up onto the ropes. Reilly climbs up and scores with vicious European uppercuts and sets for a superplex but Kent fights free and ends up nailing a huge rolling fireman’s slam from on high. The referee’s count is just touching down for three when Cameron Faith leaps from nowhere and breaks it up.

*Kent rushes Faith but the Scotsman sidesteps and sends him into the corner before nailing a lifted inverted DDT slam. Faith gets up in the corner and he sets for the superkick but Kent catches his foot. He spins him around and Reilly leaps in with an “RKO” that splatters Faith into the mat. Kent drags Reilly up and runs him to the ropes but Reilly switches positions and dumps Kent from the ring. Reilly covers Faith and the three count is there but Michael Sweetwater is ringside now to distract the referee.

*Oliver Keane is over to join the argument and there is a pushing match ensuing on the outside. The referee has seen enough and he is ordering Keane and Sweetwater from ringside as the crowd cheer the decision. Keane and Sweetwater continue to protest as Eddy Kent rolls back into the ring on the blindside. He is motioning for Reilly to turn around and rushes forward for the “Genesis kick” but Lex Hart catapults in from the adjacent and catches him on the run with a “Canadian Destroyer” as the crowd go wild, sending Kent rolling from the ring. Hart rolls from the ring now and he attacks Michael Sweetwater on the ramp, punching him toward the backstage area.

*Daniel Reilly is left stalking Cameron Faith once more and he looks for an RKO but Faith pushes him away. Faith leaps in for the superkick but Reilly catches his foot and drops down to his knees, crunching Faith’s ankle across his shoulder. Reilly applies the anklelock now and a leg vine to keep Faith in place. The Scotsman tries desperately to get to the ropes but he cannot and is forced to tap as the crowd watch on in disappointment.

*Oliver Keane is back out, applauding, as Reilly is declared the winner. The commentators talk about how that is Reilly’s first official victory since rejoining 6CWF and he will now receive an “unknown opportunity”. Reilly nods his head and celebrates his victory as Faith sits in the corner, clutching his ankle.

*On the outside Eddy Kent is up and he shoves one cameraman over before grabbing another one “You’re a dead (beeping) man walking, Hart….this may have begun as Genesis but I promise you are looking at your own personal Exodus”. Kent is irate as he storms backstage in search of Lex Hart and Michael Sweetwater.

6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10)

*Cerberus and Cara deliver a chilling message to Tyler Roth. They say tonight “The Reaper” will finally meet his match and he will be devoured by the flames of hell. Once Roth is disposed of, nobody will stand in the way of their pursuit of Marty Helms.

*Michael Sweewater and Lex Hart are shown brawling in the back and then Lex suddenly kicks Sweetwater down low and launches him through a stack of chairs before walking away. Eddy Kent arrives and is raging as Alex Walker approaches. Kent wants Lex’s head on a spike but Walker is going one better. Next week in Vegas it will be Michael Sweetwater versus Lex Hart one on one with Eddy Kent as special referee. Kent smirks but Walker says they aren’t done because next week in Vegas we will be leaving things to the “Wheel of Fate” so absolutely anything could happen. Kent says next week will be the end of Lex Hart.

*Tyler Roth finishes his prep for the upcoming match and he sees Scott Harris. They hug and Roth tells Harris that tonight is the night. Roth didn’t manage to get over the line but he has every faith in his friend and he knows that he will be the 6WF World Heavyweight Champion at the end of the night. Harris thanks his friend as the scene comes to an end

6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10)

Bout 6
Cerberus vs Tyler Roth

*Cara is the first out on the stage amidst the fire and smoke. She is laughing, both haunting and beautiful, as the screen turns black and white. Cerberus then arrives as the crowd are going wild. He is led to the ring by his “bride” and then climbs up inside. The commentators are predicting a horror movie experience throughout this upcoming battle.

*Tyler Roth walks out, purposefully, and he has his eyes set on Cerberus. He rips off his “Reaper” hood and marches down to the ring. He leaps over the top rope and immediately crashes into his opponent as they begin throwing huge punches at one another.

*The referee signals for the bell but it is abundantly clear he is going to have a hard time controlling this one. Cerberus detonates a huge uppercut under Roth’s jaw before seizing his wrist and whips to the corner. He charges in but Roth hits the turnbuckle and charges right back out with a huge clothesline that takes the monster of his feet. Cerberus gets back up and Roth pulls him into a front facelock and lifts him into a suplex. He bounces his legs off the top rope before twirling around and he front slams Cerberus on the mat. The crowd are applauding as Roth beckons Cerberus back up and springboards off the ropes, detonating a big knee strike into the jaw as he comes back down. He covers but Cerberus kicks out on one.

*Roth wraps both hands around Cerberus’ throat for a chokebomb but Cerberus kicks him repeatedly in the gut until he releases. He looks for a chokeslam but Roth jumps out the side and lands a discus forearm smash. Cerberus staggers into the corner and Roth nails him with a huge clothesline before connecting with ten more against the turnbuckle. He pulls Cerberus out and lifts him up before showing amazing strength to delivers the “The Hangman) (cradle suplex into muscle buster) but Cerberus kicks out again.

*Roth wants the finish now and he looks for “The Reaping” (Back suplex into a powerbomb) but Cerberus flips out onto his feet and this time scores with a huge chokeslam but Roth gets his shoulder up. Cerberus sets for the “Death Bell Tolls” but Roth drives his head back into Cerberus’s face to break the grip. Roth looks for an urange slam but Cerberus elbows free and then he scores with a big boot to the mouth. Roth staggers up and Cerberus runs him into a powerslam but it is still only enough for two.

*Cerberus heads for the corner and climbs up but Roth rises and greets him with a huge right hand. Roth climbs the ropes now and they trade big shots. Roth shows amazing agility to leap off the turnbuckle now and he lands on the apron before pulling Cerberus off the top rope into an overhead belly to belly suplex which sends Cerberus flying onto the concrete floor as the whole arena erupts with cheers. The commentators are astonished by what we are witnessing here.

*The referee wants to count Cerberus out but Roth isn’t interested. He begins to dismantle the commentary tables and then he smashes Cerberus’ head off the top of the steel steps and drags him around. He prepares for a powerbomb but Cerberus counters with a backdrop, causing Roth to land hard on the solid floor. Cara moves to check on Cerberus and then he turns back to Roth, a renewed fire in his eyes. Roth staggers up and Cerberus chokeslams him straight through the “Social Media” announce table.

*Cerberus looks down at the devastation he has caused but shakes his head, indicating that it is not enough. He drags the deadweight of Roth up and points to the Spanish table now as the crowd roar in approval. He grips Roth by the throat again but Roth, showing amazing character, fires vicious elbows into Cerberus’ jaw until he releases. Cerberus is groggy as Roth whips him headlong into the steel steps and sends them flying. The monster stumbles back up and Roth uranage slams him straight through the “Spanish” table. The referee has seen enough and calls for the bell, indicating a double count out.

*Nobody in the arena seems to care that the match has supposed to have finished because Roth and Cerberus aren’t done. Cara hisses at Roth as he signals that he wants to put Cerberus through the one remaining table. He gets his foe up but Cerberus charges him backward and smashes him into the ringpost. He lands another big uppercut before he throws Roth back in the ring and follows. Roth is back up and looks for a discus lariat but Cerberus ducks it and then scores with a huge one handed spinebuster (ala Bobby Lashley). Cerberus draws a finger across his throat now and is preparing for the “Death Bell Tolls” again but Roth fights it and spins free and then he pulls Cerberus toward him and scoops him into his arms before nailing “Capital Punishment” (Swinging STO).

*Roth mimes that he is going to “break” Cerberus now and he ushers him up and then locks in a full nelson (Masterlock). Cerberus thrashes from side to side but cannot break Roth’s grip so instead he drives his heel up behind him into the nether regions of Roth. He pulls free and runs the ropes before returning with a huge spear that takes all the wind out of Roth, Cara bangs her hand on the canvass now and she wants to see devastation. She walks around ringside and retrieves a steel chair before throwing it in the ring. Cerberus grabs the chair and he sets it up in the middle of the ring. He walks behind Roth now and seizes his arms for the “Death Bell Tolls” and aims to put Roth, face-first, through the chair seat but this time it is Roth’s turn to use his heel and land a low blow, drawing cheers from the crowd. Cerberus is momentarily out of commission and Roth nails “The Reaping” (back suplex into a powerbomb) straight through the chair

*The MSG crowd are on their feet at the devastation but Roth cannot believe that Cerberus is trying to get back to his feet. Cerberus is almost at a vertical base as Roth hits the ropes and pumps through with a brutal knee to the face that topples him again. Roth then signals that he is going high risk. The commentators are shocked but remark on Roth’s athleticism. Roth is nearly at the top rope now when Cara climbs onto the apron now. She is smiling at Roth with sinister intentions and then she spits a blood red mist into his eyes. Cerberus sits up in the middle of the ring and he climbs out onto the walkway. He climbs onto the second turnbuckle, from the outside, and he wraps his hand around Roth’s neck before twisting and jumping off, chokeslamming Roth off the top rope and onto the walkway, driving both men straight through it and disappearing from sight.

*The noise in the arena is deafening and nobody can quite believe what has just happened. Referees, medics and backstage personnel have rushed to ringside as the hole in the walkway is shown clearly although we cannot seem to get a shot on Cerberus or Tyler Roth. The replays are shown over and over as Cerberus chokeslams Roth off the top rope through the walkway.

*Cara is grinning, evilly, as a bloodied hand appears through the hole in the walkway and then Cerberus appears. Cara rushes to be with her “king” and helps him from the wreckage. They both stand and stare down at the devastation. Cerberus’ dark eyes are just fixated on the hole whilst Cara is smiling. The commentators are still in disbelief at what we have seen and wonder what this means for the future of Tyler Roth, who still hasn’t been seen. Cerberus and Cara walk away as medics climb inside the walkway to check on Roth’s condition. The commentators say we are going to need a little while to get the walkway fixed before the main event can take place and updates on Tyler Roth’s condition will be forthcoming.

6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10)

Post by JJJohnson Mon 07 Aug 2023, 5:47 pm

*Marty Helms is interviewed. He doesn’t give a damn about what just happened but he does hope Tyler Roth’s neck is broken so that he never has to see that “waste of space” ever again, bringing boos from the crowd. Helms is asked about tonight’s main event and says Harris probably won’t want to compete now because he’ll be crying over his boyfriend. Helms promises that Harris does not belong in the same ring as him and he will prove that tonight. He assures Harris he will put him in the hospital bed next to Roth so that they can play “brokeback mountain” for real. Helms says everyone who believes they can take this championship from him or can take him out is sorely mistaken and he is going to enjoy destroying them all one by one.

*Back out at ringside and The Saint arrives to an almighty pop. He has a broad smile on his face as he takes a mic and talks about his return and how he is here to put Clarke James in his place. He reiterates he has no contract and cannot be held accountable for what he is going to do to CJ. Saint says he is here tonight so that Clarke James can come out here, man to man, and settle this once and for all…

The big screen comes on now and Brandi Johnson is shown entering the Boardroom. She isn’t aware of her surroundings as the door closes behind her and Clarke James is there and locks it. Brandi stands her ground but it is clear she is concerned for her safety. The Saint looks horrified as he dives from the ring and rushes backstage. He gets to the Boardroom and kicks the door of its hinges but only Brandi is inside. She says he just stared at her and then left.

Saint rushes out and asks where CJ went. Someone says “the parking lot” and he rushes out to find him. A car comes screeching in Saint’s direction and he dives away as it crashes into the side of the building. He rushes over and yanks the door open but there is nobody is inside….Clarke James is standing up on a balcony above and he says “Car Crash to Main Event….I remember, Dale”….Saint is looking for a way to get to where CJ is and he rushes back inside the building and through a deserted corridor. He pulls open a huge door but there is nothing inside. He slams it shut and finds himself confronted by a masked man with his face. He punches the man to the ground as another appears and then another….Saint drops three more of them with punches but finds himself surrounded by “The Fallen”….he lands punches on two more of them before he turns around and finds himself staring at the “Scarecrow” mask of Clarke James. James sprays something in his eyes and Saint is all at sea...he staggers into a nearby wall as CJ walks behind him.

CJ: Welcome to your own personal nightmare, Dale…….Anthony didn’t much like his…..but I’m hoping you’re really going to enjoy yours…

Saint drops to one knee and is trying to clear his eyes as CJ drives some kind of baton into the side of his head, rendering him unconscious on the floor. He kneels down next to Saint now…

CJ: Pursue me at your own peril, Dale….but I promise you, it gets much worse from here.

6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10)

*Scene change and Scott Harris is interviewed. He is hyped and in the shape of his life. Harris says he has dreamed of this moment his entire career and tonight he will realise a dream by becoming 6WF World Heavyweight Champion.

*Brandi Johnson is on the phone to her husband and she is assuring him that she is fine. She tells JJ that Saint is fine too, a little banged up but still raring to go. JJ says he is coming back next week but Brandi tells him not to and that he needs this time away. She says there’s too many targets on JJ’s back right now and mentions Jerome Dubois’ rant earlier. JJ smirks and says he’ll add the Frenchmen to the “Christmas card” list. Brandi’s eyes are drawn now to a gift on the table. She unwraps it and once again there is a purple box that unwinds to reveal a laughing clown. She puts it down but can’t stop staring at it.

*Final scene change and Alex Walker is finishing up on the phone when he turns to face Lex Hart. Hart tells Walker that he can pull all the “doting father” and “willing friend to JJ and Brandi” but Lex knows a snake when he sees one and sooner or later the mask will slip….Walker stares at Lex for a long moment and then tells him that people change, see the error of their ways…..Lex isn’t buying it. Walker just smiles at Lex and tells him “In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth….you know what they call that, don’t you Lex?”

Lex responds “Genesis” and Walker says “Exactly”…..”but when God realised the mistakes he had made, he punished those responsible for defying him...he was not afraid to alter his creation until it was completely perfect….he was not afraid of change, Lex…..and nor am I”.

6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10)

Post by JJJohnson Mon 07 Aug 2023, 5:50 pm

Main Event
6WF World Heavyweight Championship
Marty Helms (c) vs Scott Harris

*The main event of the evening has arrived and MSG is rocking to the rafters for it. Scott Harris is the first to make his entrance and there is an elaborate entrance for the “King” of 6CWF. Harris comes through a trapdoor on the stage and is sat on his throne. He nods his head as pyros explode all around him and he makes his way to the ring, Jeff Thadeus telling us that he believes this is Harris’ first ever one on one match for a world championship.

*The world champion makes his entrance now and most of the crowd are booing as the 6WF Champion steps through the smoke. He demeanour, as usual, is severe as he storms to the ring and climbs inside. Harris and Helms are head to head with one another as the referee gets involved and shoves them apart. The official goes through the final instructions before signalling for the bell to get us underway.

*Helms and Harris engage in a lockup centre ring and Harris is quick to twist the right arm of his opponent and wrench it down. He kicks out at the ribs of Helms and then re-wrenches the arm, putting Helms on one knee. Helms pushes himself back up and he uses his free hand to poke Harris in the eye, sparking a torrent of abuse from the crowd and a warning from the referee. Helms drops Harris with a big time clothesline and then ushers him up again and he scoops him into a sidewalk slam for a two count. Helms beats down on the back of Harris and drags him up before flipping him in the air for “Infinity Edge” (lungblower) but Harris jumps out the back and surprises everyone as he takes Helms off of his feet with a leaping kick to the mouth as he turns around, only for the champion to kick out on two.

*Harris back on the offence now and he nails a snap suplex before transitioning over and looking for an armbar. Helms fights against it and manages to pull his arm free before landing a hard punch to Harris’ face whilst they are on the deck. They get back up and Helms lands a hard kick to the stomach and then he runs Harris to the ropes and launches him outside, ordering the referee to count because he’s “had enough of this clown already”. The referee obliges but only reaches four as Harris starts to pull himself back onto the apron. Helms heads over and grabs at Harris’ head but he takes a solid shoulder thrust to the gut through the middle rope. Harris attempts a vertical suplex to the outside but the champion lands on his feet. He drives his head into Harris’ face, stunning him, and then looks for a running boot but Harris catches it. He slams Helms foot back onto the apron and then he ducks into Helms’ side and lifts him into a big back suplex that sends both of them crashing onto the concrete.

*The referee has no choice to start counting again as both men struggle up. Helms is hurting and it is Harris who reaches his feet on seven. Harris realises he cannot win the title on a countout so he rolls in and rolls back out again to break the count. He grabs Helms by the hair and yanks him up but takes a solid right hand to the gut. Helms drives his knee into Harris’ stomach and then looks to whip him into the steel steps but Harris leaps over the steps at the final minute. Helms shows his own athleticism as he runs over and up the steps before leaping off but the challenger catches him and nails a huge overhead belly to belly suplex on the solid floor. Harris then shows skills beyond what we have seen as he pulls himself onto the apron and then he springs onto the middle rope and twists back with a corkscrew crossbody takedown (ala Matt Riddle).

*Harris throws Helms back in the ring on the count of nine and follows. He waits for Helms to get up and then attempts the “Shot in the dark” (Olympic slam) but Helms leaps out and shoves him to the corner. He chases in but Harris drives his feet up and kicks him backward. The challenger then runs out but is lifted into a huge spinebuster which gets another two count for the champion. Helms spits in a rage as he backs in the corner and he wants the punt kick. He runs out for the “Bloodthirster” but Harris catches his foot and nails a dragon screw. He stomps at the knee of the champion and tries to turn him over into the sharpshooter but Helms kicks him away. Helms gets back up and looks for a huge lariat but Harris dodges it and then lifts Helms up into an electric chair position and drops him for a Japanese Ocean Cyclone suplex which has the crowd going wild. The three count is so close but Helms only just gets his shoulder off the mat.

*Harris stalks Helms and then looks for a “codebreaker” but Helms catches him and then drops backward so that Harris’ face smashes into the deck. Harris is on all fours as Helms shows his power to gutwrench him off the mat and then spins him over into a crushing backbreaker. Helms then flips Harris into another powerbomb position but once again he drives him backwards so that his face splatters the canvass. He covers but Harris manages to kick out on two. Helms stomps down on the challenger now, showing his complete disdain until the referee is forced to separate them.

*Helms is thinking over his next move and he charges the ropes for the “Blade of the ruined king” knee strike but Harris scouts it and rolls away as Helms is sent tumbling across the canvass. They get back up and Helms tears forward again but Harris sidesteps him and sends him into the turnbuckle. Harris charges in and lands with a big splash before he lifts Helms high onto the top rope. He climbs up now and rocks the champion with right hands before looking for a superplex. Helms fights out of it and he manages to haul Harris off the top to the canvass below. He then preps himself before launching into a huge headbutt that lands to the chest. Many of the fans think the contest is over but Harris shows his resilience to kick out.

*The champion drags Harris into a front facelock and is thinking “jackhammer” but Harris floats over the back and locks his hands before nailing a huge German suplex. He keeps his hands locked as he drags Helms back up and nails a second. The noise in MSG is growing as Harris gets him up for a third time and is looking to complete the hat-trick but suddenly he staggers away, holding his groin. The referee questions Helms but he didn’t see the low blow so he can’t call it. Helms then charges into Harris and he nails a spear/STO as he lifts him up off his feet and slams him into the canvass for a two count. Helms has anger for the referee now but the official tells him to concentrate on the match at hand. The champion rips the pads off one of the top turnbuckles as the referee is checking on Harris. He drags the challenger up and runs him toward the corner but Harris gets his foot in the way. He elbows at Helms’ ribs until he releases and then sprints out centre and nails a shining wizard for a close call.

*Harris lets Helms up and then lashes a hard kick into the back of his knee, staggering him. He follows up with two more before he lifts him into the air and nails a kneebreaker. Harris once again looks for the “Sharpshooter” but Helms grabs his head and nails right hands until he falls away. Helms is back up now and he runs at Harris for a big boot but it’s dodged and Harris nails a t-bone suplex for two. Helms stumbles up against the ropes and Harris crashes into him with another stinger splash before he scores with a huge snap dragon suplex. Helms rolls over onto his knees and Harris nails a second shining wizard but again Helms is equal to it and kicks out.

*A “this is awesome” chant is ringing all around now. Harris stalks Helms for the “Shot in the dark” but Helms pushes him away and then almost spins him 360 with a brutal lariat as he comes back around. Helms drags Harris up and whips him off the ropes before popping him up on the comeback and drills him with a Samoan drop as he comes back down but Harris kicks out. Helms is beside himself now and he sets for a spear but Harris leapfrogs him. Helms twirls and runs back but Harris moves and sends the champion into the exposed turnbuckle from earlier. Harris nails the “codebreaker” but Helms shows his championship qualities to kick out.

*Harris looks a little shocked but he pulls himself together and heads up top. He looks down at Helms and then launches himself into a frogsplash but the champion drives his knees up. Helms is back up now whilst Harris is on all fours. Helms flips him up and nails the “Infinity Edge” (lungblower) and is believes he has three but Harris shocks everyone by kicking out. Helms is up in the referee’s face now and demanding that he does his job properly. Helms whips Harris into the corner and he chases in with a brutal clothesline. He lifts the challenger onto the ropes again and slaps his chest with vicious chops before climbing up. He pulls Harris into a front facelock and lifts him into a superplex but Harris twists his body in mid-flight and he drives Helms down into the canvass with a modified cutter….Harris stumbles up and he grabs Helms’ legs before finally applying the “sharpshooter” as the fans go wild.

*Helms is screaming in pain and trying to crawl for the ropes but Harris keeps it tight and then he drags the champion back to the centre and sits right into the hold once more. The referee is asking Helms if he wants to quit but he is shaking his head, spit and froth coming his mouth. Helms is in the hold for nearly three minutes when his head slumps to the canvass. The referee checks his pulse but gets no response. He raises the arm and it drops twice. The crowd are ready to celebrate a new champion but somehow Helms gets his arm in the air before it drops a third time. The champion digs as deep as he possibly can now to drag himself over and grab the bottom rope. The commentators are wondering what that has taken from him.

*Harris is drenched in sweat as he staggers up and thinks over his next move. Helms is slow to his feet but eventually he rises. He backs up into Harris and the challenger looks for the “Olympic slam” but Helms once again jumps out and shoves Harris away to the corner. Helms chases in and leaps for a splash but nobody home. Harris then nails a huge chaos theory suplex. Helms is on his knees as Harris lifts him into a vertical suplex and then drops him out at the top into a sickening backbreaker across his knee but once more the champion finds the energy to kick out. Harris backs in the corner now and he lifts himself onto the second rope. He ushers Helms up and then jumps toward him but the champion catches him. He throws Harris backward into the exposed turnbuckle and then destroys him with a huge uranage slam as he comes back out for a nearfall.

*Helms is almost experiencing a little doubt for the first time and he rolls from the ring to grab his title belt. He rolls back in and is preparing to nail Harris with it but the referee pulls it out of his grasp. Helms is raging at the referee but then turns and is nailed by the “Shot in the dark” slam. Harris hooks the leg and thinks he has it but Helms is able to reach out with his other boot and place it across the bottom rope. Harris takes a deep breath now and he heads for the corner. He climbs up high, facing the audience, and looks to be readying for a moonsault but Helms is up and swipes his legs from under him. He climbs up behind Harris and then shows great strength to lift the challenger into his arms. The flashbulbs go off as Helms nails a huge fall away slam from the top rope, leaving both men in a heap.

*Helms is the first back to his feet and he sees Harris trying to stand so he drags him into the centre of the ring and lands an almighty pumphandle drop (Riptide) and hooks both of the legs. The champion has a triumphant smile on his face but Harris kicks out again. The commentators are starting to wonder if either of these men can be defeated here tonight. Helms gets back to his feet again and he wants a second “Infinity Edge”. He flips Harris up into position but Harris punches down at the head of his opponent repeatedly and drops out front before landing a dropkick that sends Helms backwards and he squashes the referee in the corner, which causes the crowd to groan.

6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents "Night of Champions" Results - 7th August 2023 (Episode 10)

*Helms shows no interest in the referee’s well being as he runs out for a big boot but Harris dodges it and then chopblocks the other leg. He grabs Helms and turns him into the sharpshooter once more. The MSG crowd are on their feet as Helms begins tapping his hand against the canvass but there is nobody to make the call. Harris looks dismayed as he tries to revive the official but no such luck. He heads back over to Helms and receives a low blow for his troubles. Helms flips Harris up and scores with the “Infinity Edge” once again and follows up with the “Blade of the ruined king” knee strike but the referee is still down.

*Helms tries to wake the official but nothing. He signals for another referee before grabbing the 6CW Title again. He beckons Harris to his feet and nails him with the belt between the eyes and makes another cover but still no referee. Helms smirks now as he looks over at Harris’s royal attire. He grabs the crown and places it on his own head, drawing boos from the audience, before twirling the royal sceptre in his hands. He beckons Harris up and then swings the sceptre at his head but Harris ducks it and then snaps off a hat-trick of German suplexes as the crowd go wild. Harris grabs the sceptre now and he thinks it over before lashing it across Helms’ head, sparking a huge cheer from the crowd. The referee is finally crawling across the mat as Harris makes the cover but Helms finds a way to kick out.

*Harris heads for the corner again and is preparing for a frogsplash but Helms is up and nails a big right hand. He then scoops Harris into a “muscle buster” and runs him out but Harris drops behind at the final moment. Helms turns but Harris grabs him in a t-bone suplex and throws him into the referee, sending the official from the ring this time. Helms turns around and eats a “codebreaker” but there is no referee to count. Harris looks frustrated now.

*Harris grabs Helms’ legs and tries to turn him into the “sharpshooter” once more but Helms pulls his head down and he rakes his eyes and kicks out at the same time and catches Harris between the legs. Harris drops on his knees as Helms gets up on his feet and then he almost kicks Harris into next week with the “Bloodthirster” punt kick. Helms is motioning wildly for another referee to come down and make the count. An official eventually does appear, after maybe a minute, as Helms drops into the cover but Harris kicks out, sending the crowd into raptures.

*Helms sits for a moment but then rolls from the ring and he drags Harris with him. Harris is barely able to stand as Helms smashes his head off the top of the steel steps and then rams it into the ringpost. He drags Harris around and smashes his head into the other three ringposts, finally opening up a deep cut across Harris’ head. The referee is telling Helms he will DQ him but the champion doesn’t seem to care. He throws the bloodied Harris back into the ring and follows. He stares down at his blood soaked challenger and shakes his head before he runs the ropes for another “Blade of the ruined king” but Harris turns and catches his legs as he flies through the air. He tries to put Helms in the “sharpshooter” but the champion is thrashing wildly. Harris drops back and he catapults Helms into the turnbuckle. Harris pulls himself up, blood dripping from his forehead, and he runs in for a splash but eats a huge back elbow that sends him staggering away.

*Helms then climbs the ropes, something we aren’t used to seeing from him, and he reaches the top as Harris sprints over and up the ropes. He clatters Helms in the back as the crowd go wild and then he drills the champion with a huge top rope “Olympic Slam”. The referee slides on his knees to make the count when the claxon sounds to indicate that the sixty minute time limit has expired.

JT: I can’t believe it….

RJ: Neither can I…..this match was so damn good I had no earthly idea we were so close to the time limit…

JT: Scott Harris was on the brink, he literally had the gold in his hands but it has been cruelly ripped away from him…

RJ: “King” Harris showed exactly why he is deserving of that moniker here tonight…..but also major props to our world champion…..Marty Helms showed tonight exactly why he is the champion, why he is the elite….he withstood everything thrown at him from one of the most determined challengers we have ever seen…

The crowd are chanting “five more minutes” as Michael Bird makes the official announcement that the time limit has expired and the match is a draw, therefore Marty Helms is still world champion. Scott Harris has rolled from the ring and dropped to his knees in disappointment, blood all over his head, whilst Marty Helms is just managing to sit up and the referee places the 6WF belt in his lap…

JT: This was one of the best damn matches we have ever seen…

RJ: Without a doubt…..last week Uryu and Eddy Kent tore the roof off in California and this week Marty Helms and Scott Harris have rocked MSG….this truly is world championship wrestling at its finest…

JT: Harris will be dismayed, I don’t doubt, because despite all of his efforts tonight he is not leaving as champion…

RJ: We have to see this again though, surely? They can’t leave it here…

JT: I have no idea….Harris won “Road to Royalty” and it guaranteed him one shot, that shot was tonight and he didn’t get it done….

“Remedy” is playing through the speakers now as Helms staggers back up to his feet and raises the championship over his head, laughing off the boos from the crowd…

RJ: Marty Helms is still the 6WF Champion….he is still atop the mountain….despite the growing pack of challengers out for revenge and retribution…..The “Last Outlaw” remains at large…

Helms gets up in the camera now and he holds the 6WF Championship belt close to the screen…

Helms: Nobody is ever taking this away from me…..nobody is capable of taking this from me…..I’m the greatest and I don’t give a (beep) if you come back from the dead to try, nobody can beat me…

*ULTRA POP

RJ: OH MY GOD…

JT: THE ROOF HERE IN MADISON SQUARE GARDEN HAS BECOME UNHINGED…..THIS IS INSANE…

Marty Helms’ face is a picture as he turns away from the camera and “Born to fight” booms through the airwaves. Every single fan is on their feet as “Holy (beep)” chants ring all around…

RJ: HE’S HERE, JEFF……

JT: DICEY REILLY IS BACK!

Dicey Reilly comes marching out onto the stage and he smiles at the crowd continue to go nuts. He looks across the walkway at Marty Helms and starts to march toward him…

JT: Remember it was nearly three years ago that Marty Helms seemingly ended the career of Dicey Reilly in an absolute bloodbath…

RJ: But he didn’t finish the job because Dicey is here….the fighting Irishman looks in tremendous shape…..BOOM…..DOWN GOES HELMS!

Helms storms forward and he swings the title belt at Dicey but he ducks underneath it and kicks the champion in the gut before nailing the “Craicdown” piledriver in the centre of the ring.

Crowd: WELCOME BACK x10

JT: I can’t believe what we are witnessing here…..Dicey Reilly is back in 6CWF and he just took out Marty Helms…..as if this night could not get any bigger or any better…

RJ: You call it “Night of Champions” and you’re damn right….listen to this crowd, take in this moment…..

JT: Penny for Scott Harris’ thoughts right now too…

The show comes to an end as the crowd are chanting Dicey’s name over and over. Scott Harris has staggered up and is leaning against the ringside barrier as Dicey stands over Marty Helms and then he picks up the 6WF Championship. The crowd roar in approval as Dicey looks at the belt and then down at Helms once more.
