That offside came because the Fiji forwards are blowing. The three points gives them all a breather, got to be a thought of piling on the pressure, there's some big units doing a lot of running for Fiji.

Most exciting match I’ve seen so far this weekend- too close to call at the minute

Wales showing good patience, wearing down the Fiji defence. Great delayed pass from Tompkins.

If I was the Fiji captain I'd be asking the ref about sealing off because there was definitely a couple there where multiple Wales forwards made no attempt to support their weight and flopped straight over.

I was just thinking this is the most entertaining so far ...

Surely the Fiji player knocked that on in the tackle?

And forward pass in the move by Fiji not picked up. All shown on the tv replays though!

Clear foul play, we think there's an arm no penalty. That's farcical. It's a clear no arms cheap shot. Biggar is very lucky they didn't review him as well. Some very dodgy shots coming in from the Welsh

He's got a point. Either kick it clear of give LRZ to see if he can make use of the space from the turnover. North has more than once run turnover ball into traffic. He's going to do well to get through the Fiji defence when it's not a set play.

It was more silly play in the 22 from Wales, against a team that’s known to fly into tackles… someone has to shout at them.

Easily the best game of the World Cup so far. Fiji haven't taken their chances, Wales have taken theirs, that's the difference. Wales are going to need a good bench performance to get through this, because Fiji won't stop coming.

I must admit I did find the decision re the no arms tackle a bit odd ...

Wales clearly rattled in that half. Struggling to cope with the pressure of needing to win against a team who should have been bookies favourites (they are higher in the rankings, beat English at Twickers, etc.

Bottled maybe - as would then have to be a YC and PT?

Possibly but I'm not sure he would have wrapped even if the prop hadn't jumped ... he just looked in the wrong position and heading to the deck

Fiji are well liked in general. Most people want them to do well.

Terrific game so far.

I think Elias was lucky with that tackle call. His arm is up if being generous but he's in no position to wrap with it. He's basically diving towards the floor like a door wedge. Fortunate not to be a penalty which in that position would have been a pen try and yellow. I don't think Rowland's is stopping the try if not for Elias' intervention.

The seatbelt tackle is clear cut as well though. Definitely a penalty.

I'll be interested to see which side tires more noticeably. Wales' conditioning looked very good in warmups and generally has been excellent under Gatland. They are making a ton of tackles though and Fiji have some cracking subs. Botia is a freak and Tuisova can make something from nothing. Mayanavanua is a cracking second row. Ravai can be a wrecking ball. Sireli Maqala has insane footwork.

Been a fantastic match, really enjoyed watching. Both teams have been brutal. When it sticks, Fiji are awesome to watch.

There was no attempt to make a legal tackle there. Not sure PT as there were other tacklers there. Given where it took place it could have been a yellow card. I can only assume Carley misheard what the TMO said and thought he said there was arms and not no arms. Such a blatant bit of foul play.
