I was thinking more the likes of Collapse laughing at a Welsh player going for a HIA

Elias should be on a yellow. I did think it might be a PT, but you can’t say with any certainty that he scores without Elias’ intervention. I did think the Fijian jumped too at first, but not sure of that now.

That said, the clear forward pass invited a lot of pressure too.

Refs miss a lot early. We all know the officials at the best competition in the world are substandard.

Wales are playing all wrong. I love wainwright, but he’s not doing anything and we need a physical six really.

He was likely laughing at the delay between the knock and him coming off being long enough for a commentator to question why he wasn't getting checked to be fair. No one's happy to see a player potentially hurt.

Happens at almost every collision, only now you want it sorted? There was nothing in it, the player dived over the tackler.

It served him right for faking an injury, even the Fiji guy went over to get him up. That was funny.

Biggar can give out all he wants to his players, but he’s left 6 points out there already now (or is it 5?). Must do better.

There's been a few forward passes missed this opening weekend.

I'm not sure Rowland's is stopping that without Elias.

It's done now though.

Wales are playing much smarter now. The coaches have clearly driven the game plan back into them.

It wouldn’t be a bad idea for Biggar to go off. He doesn’t have the temperament for this one, plus his tackling and kicking isn’t up to scratch.

Get Botia on. Tuisue is one of the few Fiji players you'd barely know is on the pitch at the moment.

Wales made hard work of that.

Jac Morgan is such a talented player. A future Lion right there. I love watching him play.

European teams structure and discipline will almost always trump that Fijian flair. It's why Fiji just can't step up to that next level.

Yeah, Fiji look like they can score from everywhere. We’re not off the hook yet.

Strongly agree on this, losing him has been a body blow to their chances at the tournament. He’s exactly what they’ve been needing to help control and direct their play for a long time. Such a shame!

He's looked a bit of a liability in defence but he's led the kicking game that's got Wales on top this half. The Baabaas stuff they were trying in the first half stamped out.

Problem is, we need our best defensive effort and for me the subs are worse in that area: Costello, Dyer, Dee are not a good defensively as Biggar, Adams and Elias. We’re in danger of throwing this away with weaker subs while Fiji have arguably strengthened.
