6CWF - The VIP Sessions & Podcast
First topic message reminder :
Good afternoon gents (Yes I know I'm in the middle of posting a show )
So after some chatter with Rob (Uryu) we have decided we are going to give this a whirl. He has kindly agreed to be the host of this venture and we are looking to kick it off this Saturday with a sit down, in depth, discussion between him and myself.
Depending on the success of this (we may need more than one part) and if you guys can stomach listening to me then we may look to take this further and have a monthly/bi monthly (after PPV) podcast where we would then open up the floor for anyone else who would like to get involved in the discussion.
So first and foremost from you guys, if you could be of great service, we need some topics and questions for our opening recording:
And quite honestly I want to throw it out there so we can talk about anything from the start in 2008 all up to the present day. As many questions as you like and anything you want answered. There isn't a subject that I won't talk about, but instead of me just harping on it would be good to talk about things that you guys would like to hear about.
So post away, fire them over and hopefully we can turn this into something.
Cheers lads

Thanks for the well wishes guys but I broke my arm the November before last. Haha.
I do appreciate the concern though boys, I already have a question set for the next one...
If you could take two 6CWF stars and switch out their gimmicks, who would it be?

If the answer isn't Percy Percival and Logan Kincade, then what's the point?

Also "Sexually Aggressive" Logan Kincade should be his nickname in a "Stone Cold" Steve Austin style

also feel free to give feedback on how we are. im always looking to improve ( even though JJ says i'm great) and took on the advice of last time and was a little less self focused.
also, we are planning to do a BIF pre show including predictions so would love a few guests on.

Unless there’s another pod before the end of the year, maybe do some end of year awards?

Re: 6CWF - The VIP Sessions & Podcast
I would do a podcast for every show - I just don’t want us to become boring or run out of things to talk about. I’m more than happy for more to be added to the schedule.
As for the end of year awards - it was the original plan for the post Born in Fire show but then I remembered that our ‘season’ runs from night of glory to night of glory so wouldn’t it make sense to do end of season?
Again; happy to do end of year awards if that’s what people want.

Re: 6CWF - The VIP Sessions & Podcast
I'd personally say an award show at or around Night Of Glory makes the most sense as we do seasons etc
Also, podcast wise, maybe have them after PPV's and bigger shows/events to discuss how the changes will affect the show?

I’m about an hour in, hope you get better soon JJ.
Re: the Honeyz (nothing to do with my booking thankfully), Trish was initially brought in by Diablo as a sidekick (although it was heavily alluded to that it was Trish Stratus it was never actually confirmed so she went as Trish). What happened after that, no idea - but JJ is probably right!

Evening fellas
Really enjoying the lore, some boss characters with some great people who handled them, wonder what they are up to these days! keep in touch with Pete and Rich (Engel+Beer) but nobody from way far back like. The history of this place after all these years is great to hear it being discussed, maybe you fellas could do the same for Night of Glory next year?
Going to listen to more tomorrow for sure, about 40 minutes in and really enjoying it. Top work Steve and Robbo

Re: 6CWF - The VIP Sessions & Podcast
I can't help but think BD was part of the Crime Syndicate for a while? Or did he feud with Crimey around that time?
I'd love Crimey back and to forge a partnership with BD, two angry big old b*stards looking to take the young kids down a peg or two.

Re: 6CWF - The VIP Sessions & Podcast
Me and Rob have been talking about potentially doing a series on all the old PPVs. Would there be interest in that?
So we'd start in 6WF from '08 and work our way through over a number of episodes. Talk about storylines, characters of years gone by and perhaps any changes we would make to the booking etc.
The same would apply to 6CW but it would have to be from 2011 onward as I wasn't a part of the fed until then.
Also thanks Geoff - I knew I wasn't making the Jeff Brazier thing up. Looked it up and he was called "Pocket Rocket" on the show
BD - yes you were mate. Crimey recruited Blue Dragon, Xeres and Gabriel Rose (Drake was his handler) as well as The Scotsmen (GDC/Allan Grant) and Triple D.

Re: 6CWF - The VIP Sessions & Podcast
Listening to the podcast and making notes live, regarding stuff I was mentioned in
Henchman was Crime Lord's, well... henchman
I did create Chris Jericho Jr (catchphrase was "I'm Chris Jericho Junior, junior") purely to feud with Rock v2, and was told it didn't make sense
Prodigy was definitely TGA's character. He and Max came back to 6WF from 6CW to win the tag titles in the invasion angle.
The Max/Xanthi v Hooligan/Brandi finish was my idea ish... I thought Brandi deserved the Honeyz Title, so I said he should have Brandi win and the knock on effect would be Max loses his European Title to Hooligan without being pinned, the sort of bad luck he deserved as a d*ckhead heel. Except River Robinson had the wrong person win like a moron!
GDC did (at least co) create 6CW, but the character was just "Scottish JBL"
The 6wE breakaway was indeed in response to how badly River was running 6WF. But it only lasted about 6 weekly shows because running a fed was too much work so I brokered our key players would join 6CW almost in an Outsiders invasion style but as wrestlers only. River's revenge was having River beat Max clean with Max's finisher. Which if you think about it only made my finisher look stronger...
Max/Xanthi v Jeff Brazier/Jodie Marsh was because Max at the time had an unbeaten Born in Fire streak going, but wasn't active enough at the time to be on that year's card, so I asked if I could do some Adamson v Z List Celeb kind of match, in the same way WWE would have a celebrity wrestle at Wrestlemania, but also to add another win to his BIF record I regret nothing and I'd do it again without question. And yeah I picked Brazier because of the Celebrity Wrestling, but then added Jodie Marsh as his partner because she was annoying. And also two opponents that a 6WF crowd would want to see get beaten up by Max and Xanthi.
It is far easier being a d*ckhead heel. That's why I'm far better at it than I am being a face
Great job, really easy listen, and you can tell you're both getting more and more comfortable with each recording

I'd 100% love this as it would give us a break down of stuff that's happened that built the fed...and then when it gets to 2013 I can be reminded of stuff that's happened that I've forgotten.
