Re: Rugby Union Legends Game - Draft
I wanted to get this done and when I see pullthestrings on it's kinda naff to see him not just put one players name down.
We could have had this done by now, and open the foreigns ready for first teamsheets on friday or saturday then fixtures wednesday.

Re: Rugby Union Legends Game - Draft
My suggestion for bidding is this, people can bid for up to five players at a time, and bear sets a time that he will answer all bids, say 9pm each day. That way it shouldn't take more than 2-3 days to get the whole thing done.

Re: Rugby Union Legends Game - Draft
Having second thoughts on my pick..........
Wanted to go for an 80 cap legend, the first NH player to play super rugby, the mercurial Gregor townsend. Covers FH/IC/FB. Would you lot rate him? Now that he is surrounded by the likes of horan little howlett, rather then scots rubbish lot!

bathite - pm'd you back - one thing I would say is your short another outright fly-half and although those choices are good \i would look to get a free pick there before the bidding starts . . .there are still some good ones out there . . .

Re: Rugby Union Legends Game - Draft
well 2/3 players on my list covered there fine and Horan does also, having played there before. failing that, not going to be hard to pick up a good 20/30 capper later in the game on the cheap.
thanks for the advice prop and hon, both of you confirmed what i thought! all good players! dammit!

Re: Rugby Union Legends Game - Draft
I kind of agree with prop here either him or the center choice. Both of which I believe will be hot property in transfer market
mind you so will the full back as well, now you come to mention it

Re: Rugby Union Legends Game - Draft
Hi guys. Excuse the interruption but I've just noticed this thread is approaching the 20 page mark. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the forum doesn't allow threads to go beyond 20 pages and so when it reaches that point it either disallows further posts, or starts a new one (owned by whoever the current poster is).
What I'd suggest is that your section organizer starts a new thread (with the same title if necessary) - then PM me and I'll come in and lock this thread so no one else can post on it - and make the new one a "sticky" if that's what you want.
Just gimme a shout if I can be of assistance

Re: Rugby Union Legends Game - Draft
right then guys, after much deliberation, im going for a player with over 100 caps for his country, one of the best goal kickers in the world, a player with pace vision and skill, who covers wing full back and fly half.
CHRIS PATERSON!
sorry for the delay!
