Max Evans will leave Glasgow Warriors in the summer but fellow centre Graeme Morrison has committed himself to the club for a further two years.

Both players are Scotland internationals and joined Warriors from Glasgow Hawks, Morrison in 2003 and Evans four years later.

"Max has been a great servant to Glasgow and I wish him well for the future," said head coach Sean Lineen.

Lineen also described Morrison's new contract as "fantastic news".

By the end of Morrison's new deal, he will have spent a decade with the Warriors.

"It seems like only yesterday that I was getting my first game for Glasgow because it's all gone very quickly," said the 28-year-old.

"But I suppose that's the life of a rugby player - time flies when you're enjoying yourself.

"I believe in this team. We have a good young squad that are growing up together and I have a feeling that if the core of this squad can stay together and improve, we can do something special."

Not a bad player, but not quite the standard of his unfortunate brother.
I do feel he wont let any team down though and at his age he could be a great catch for one of the lower Aviva teams.
