I'm looking at possibly offloading Kante this week due to his injury.
Ideally I was looking for cash, but I'm willing to listen to offers too of P/EX so feel free to put them on my page.

Mbappe playing brilliantly. Monaco brilliant albeit a bit lucky not to be down to 10 men and having conceded a penalty

Similar to Robben though in why need a 2nd one when that one is just sooooooo good.

Re: The Lotion League Locker Room
Miky's relatively small investment in Falcao is looking much better business than the 10s of millions being spent elsewhere.
Well done Miky for being the one to take the chance.

Solid footballer. A few years ago looked like he could be a star but he has never quite lived up to that breakthrough season.

He's okay and wouldn't be seen as a weakness. But wouldn't be a vote winner IMO.
I think it was soddy that used to rate him really highly.

Is the tactics word limit 150 or 200?

Re: The Lotion League Locker Room
I suspect you are talking about mine having looked at them. On my word count, it was 2 words over, not 7
Either way, the idea is to stop people taking the mick and writing war and peace, not to punish them for being inadvertently a few words over.

Re: The Lotion League Locker Room
Remember that we only count the sub instructions into the tactics.
So sub instructions and the explanation of how you want your team to play etc is the 150 words.
Everything else for example is free so Injuries and formation etc

Re: The Lotion League Locker Room
The 150 has always been a guide. In the past we talked about whether we needed to increase limits and the consensus has been that we don't need to because no one is abusing it and writing massively long tactics.
Personally I think common sense has to be applied as no one is really taking the urine for it actually need to be worried about.
But we can go down the path of making it a more rigid, strict rule if that is what managers want to do?

I don't count any headers either as that isn't instruction, its just making it easier for the voters to follow.

Didn't Nando get punished last time or was it decided that we let it go?

I'll let it pass this week but if anyone is even one word over whenever I do votes it's gonna be an auto loss from me

Re: The Lotion League Locker Room
*pedantic hat on*
Where does it state what the punishment is then? Doesn't say the punishment is for it to be considered by voters within the results and voting, so it shouldn't be. The punishment could be a fine
If we want to go down this path, then that is fine, but the rule needs to be tightened up, specifying what is in and out of the word count, and the punishment clearly defined.
You can't just decide that you are going to vote people down for it IMO

Re: The Lotion League Locker Room
Miky - lets get our heads together and come up with better wording for the rules page.
I don't see that there is a problem here tbh, but if Nads is going to start giving people losses for being a word over, then we need something more specific in there

Re: The Lotion League Locker Room
Maybe I was a bit OTT with the auto loss threat. Just change the tactics word limit to 200 and the problems sorted.

Re: The Lotion League Locker Room
Good game afro but I felt that this was the most pointless set of tactics I wrote.
I did all I could. Can someone do me a favour and give me any lineup and tactics I could have named which would have given me a win? Time and time again it's happened that i felt I've outdone the other manager tactically and got no reward. Its demoralising and makes the tactics feel pointless.

Re: The Lotion League Locker Room
Thanks Nadz and thanks Trebs.
Your tactics on my wingbacks was spot on IMO, however I also didn't feel it outdid me. I just think my tactics were much easier to come up with this week because of your decimated defence and I kept it simple.
Tactics that could have countered this is not easy as I would have done the same as you. pack them in defensively and in the CM area, and use pace on the flanks and up front to hit me on the counter.

Re: The Lotion League Locker Room
If someone had said to me - sorry but you should have played Origi and Wilson and been bolder in attack. Or you should have added Romeu and played a midfield diamond then fine. I can accept that. My thoughts are there have been a number of occasions this season where I've not deserved to lose, nothing personally Afro.
Having said, thanks for your comments Afro and also to Nadz who has messaged me privately.

Re: The Lotion League Locker Room
I think the added difficulty is that there are no draws, you have to pick a winner, and all it takes on a really close game is for 2 managers to lean the same way.

Re: The Lotion League Locker Room
In my admittedly biased opinion, my midfield would completely dominate against Motta who is being phased out of the PSG side and Behrami who is ultimately a Watford player.
Miky was set up to face a 4-4-2, not a 4-3-3, and if Alonso and Moses are pushing on, that leaves Mane up against Kaboul out wide, which quite frankly is a torching
I can't see any threat from Sarabia and Immobile against my defence, and have tactically countered Robben already to limit his effect on the game - Tierney played against Barcelona and City without embarassing himself so I'm a bit miffed
Nothing personal Miky, just slightly frustrating

I was Voter 1 in this btw and am happy to discuss my feedback, if I could I would have voted draws in the games but having to decide tipped my decision just slightly towards Afro and Miky.
