The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Tommy Bowe photo on the bar. That's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

MARK YOUR DIARIES - updated to accommodate Scarlets vs Munster
young Hugbert and I have been mulling the coincidence of European games, and round 3 provides a good opportunity for a meet (for those interested). On Sun 11th Dec, Bath entertain Leinster with a 12.45 kick-off, and on the same day, a short train ride away, at Sandy Park, Exe will mostly be slaughtering the Dragons
There's plenty room at my place in Devon, we could manage a few looseners on the Friday nite at the local (the Culm Valley Inn comes with 's full approval), a full English/Irish/Scottish/Welsh breakfast on Sat morning, I'll drive up to Llanelli, match 1, beers, drive back to Devon, repeat Fri eve & Sat morning, jump on the train to Bath, match 2, a few celebratory scoops , back on the train to Exe, match 3, further torturing of the liver , back home to Yew Tree.
Not for the faint-hearted!
All in favour, shout

Two antennas meet on a roof, fall in love and get married. The ceremony
wasn't much, but the reception was excellent.

I heard that, it was a penny dropping! Myself and the lads from work were heading out on the lash and for nothing more than divilment we told him we work in the banana factory and were all laid off that afternoon. I was in charge of adding to stickers to them. But we got the sack because we were monkeying around and the boss went ape. Can't believe he bought it.
As - I would love to go. But can't confirm anything now. I'll look into it though mate

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I found flights for less than a ton. Which is a real bonus.
BUT this month I have to pay 2 months rent in the new place and (due to some casual arrangements with my current landlord) pay for the last month in my old place – most people pay rent in advance of a month, I pay for the month gone, seemed like a good idea at the time. Which basically means I’m boned for monies this month. But if the flights are any way affordable next month I’ll be all over it like a spider monkey!

Last jokes:
People say I'm a hypochondriac. That really hurts.
I was going to join the debating team but someone talked me out of it.
My uncle was crushed by a piano. His funeral was very low key. It was sad he had to live us on that note.

Flights for 90 notes to Cardiff. Any saving made there will cancel out on the train, but the times are much more humane…

Ona,the box in Croker is pretty sweet. You made the right choice. Wait for the semi, everyone knows that's the real final this year.

Yeah been there before, it is fairly awesome.

As, that sounds like a great plan, plus I haven't met you in real life yet, so I'll say too! I'll have to stash some money away, but it should be do-able.

What is interesting I find compared to a lot of other counties is that Cork people have an interst in a lot of Ireland's most popular sports. Some Kerry or Kilkenny people have no interest in soccer or rugby.
