Ospreys made a good signing getting rid of Phillips for the Samoan kid, a much better nine.

Andy Powell should not be in this squad.
Geth to come on. We need him to be at his best.

As much as I want Samoa to win this. I still have a feeling Wales are going to create something out of nothing (it will have to be out of nothing aswell because theyve had nothing to work with so far)

Same here. Theyve weathered the storm. Now structure should take over as long as wales remain composed.

Samoa starting to fall off more and more tackles and have seemed to have lost some of there aggression in the contact. Tiredness kicking in?

Re: Post match discussion - Wales 17 - 10 Samoa
What a garbage gameplan up till now, they have dominated the breakdown, now if we ping the corners and move the ball from contact we'll nick this.
I have to say if the world cup is won by the top 2 inches we are a foot and a half short right now, partly due to poor decisions by Gatland to play Charteris, and Hook at FB in this one, plus to take Powell, and partly due to a very very poorly executed gameplan by the lacklustre pack!

Re: Post match discussion - Wales 17 - 10 Samoa
Hence poor execution!!!
We have lacked any sort of aggression at the breakdown, and our linespeed has been more than awfull at times, at one point I was watching Bennet and Jones on the touchline being riled by Tuilagi and they looked apologetic even though he was trying to disrupt our lineout prep!!!

On the plus side, Gethin has gotten onto the feild, one big hit and a turnover... I'll take that 10 times out of 10 from a 15 minute replacement!!!

Utter, utter dross from Wales. Samoa did everything but win. They were the better team. We've got to be the only team in the world who try to run the clock down for just 8 seconds and manage to turn it over (again). Idiots.

Re: Post match discussion - Wales 17 - 10 Samoa
Well played Samoa...!
What a great team, some of the most naturally gifted players at this world cup.
Wales played very well, this game was incredibly tough. It was very important that we rode the waves of Samoan pressure and still had energy in the tank.
Let's hope Hook and Lydiate are not seriously injured.
Can't wait to see Samoa vs SA and Fiji.
Come on Samoa...!

Well done wales.
Well fought and deserved win.
Bad luck samoa and to both another brilliant match.
SA will have to face a desperate samoa now.

Many top teams may have slipped up against this Samoan side. Form them, this was their big match of the RWC. Well done Wales for a pretty good defensive effort against a very strong side

Great game. Second half belonged to welsh defence. I fear for you though if you lose warburton at any point. He is by far Wales best player and leader
