If Wales win the World Cup then my two talented youngsters will have become a WC winning captain and a World cup winning fly half in a matter of months.

On a serious point about pitchs , how many AP pitchs besides Edgley park seem to tear up in the winter?

I'm just thinking it's a bit colder which hardens the pitchs and theres only really wind which is the difference.

Watching glos vs London Irish on replay. Haliufia should have got a season ban for that tackle. Previous offences galore. Guys a coward and only seems
To do it with no chance of come back. You would
Think he would learn to tackle.
Whilst his kicking out of hand ain't much Bowden ball in hand is a threat

I think Irish would be great with Hodgson, Bowden, Ojo, Hape, Joseph, Armitage and Homer as their backline. I think Hape and Ansbro are two similar to play together. Both really good at the same thing. With Bowden at 10 you need Homer at 15.

Bowdens footwork is great but he has serious lack

Have it all.

Allinson is better than hodgson at the moment, can actually deliver quick ball and not fire a pass at sOmeones head. Disagree slightly Matt, bowdens kicking out of hand v Worcester was very good, gets good distance and very accurate. Room for improvement yes, but not a weakness.

Agree re allinson. Like Bowden but think he is a 12. How old is he ?
Guest- Guest
Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4 homepage
He is actually a better 10 than 12. Allinson has been very good, although Dodge did look to have sharpened up a bit when he came on at the weekend.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4 homepage
He's quite young I think, maybe 24/25? and for me is a 10. The more he plays at 10, the more his game management will improve, although already he seems to make the right decisions pretty much all the time. Playing in the wet will test him and he may be better at 12 in those conditions, but time will tell.

To be fair whilst priestland is decent and has played well i still think Hook is a better player. I am a huge hook fan and think he will excel in France and should be left to play one position otherwise will never fufill his potential.
I worry about JOC in the same way. they need to start playing him a position now and stick with it. Most talented player in the world and needs to now start to build on it. Such a talent. Has more potential than Carter etc

Shoreditch is a bit differrent and alternative and is a good crack. Also if you are heading for an afternoon/evening then head to Smithfield area. loads of pubs and a really good atmosphere in the day.

Not really a trek from anyone unless your west.
Matt's shout of Farringdon is a good one. Or get off at Old St, and walk towards Shoreditch/Hoxton.
Both trendy/lively/full of fitties/expensive
You with mates or the Mrs?

The Queen of Hoxton has a great roof terrace, The Book Club is really popular (never sure why, it's basic) with the ladies. The Breakfast Club is a cool place to eat, and celeb central (seen Keira Knightley and Roonie Wood in last few months). Brick Lane is lively and full of bars and not too far from Shoreditch High St.

Pretty much means none of us will be able to use any of the players from the 4 teams in the semi's in the next league game

Big bucks on offer in Japan, I can see the appeal.
Their league is getting stronger and stronger with all the 3 Nations players they are attracting.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4 homepage
not so sure Habana is passed his prime, I think that defences put too many men on him and mark him out the game now. The trouble is that I dont think SA have the players to take advantage of the extra space on the pitch.
I might be a bit of a defensive geek here, but I find it really interesting how players can burst onto the scene and destroy defences for up to 18months, but then defence coaches work out how to deal with them and the attacker has to almost go and reinvent their game to become effective again.
Look at Jamie Roberts, after Lions tour defences just put their big tacklers on him and for about 2 years he was awful as got marked out of games, now he's changed his running lines and is playing far more intelligently. And he's catching defences off guard again.
I think there are going to be a lot more smaller, more agile back threes now in rugby (like Wales) because they are so much harder to defend against, then some big lumps and play with real intelligence. So much harder to defend against then big lumps outwide e.g. Banahan.
I can see a lot of teams copying Wales, getting two big centres who can get over the gainline, a really exciting backthree and a creative flyhalf - it will be really interesting seeing how this England team develops in the backs as pretty sure we could ahve an awesome backline if we can find a decent inside centre!

New Zealand: Israel Dagg; Cory Jane, Conrad Smith, Ma'a Nonu, Richard Kahui; Aaron Cruden, Piri Weepu; Kieran Read, Richie McCaw (capt), Jerome Kaino; Brad Thorn, Sam Whitelock, Owen Franks, Keven Mealamu, Tony Woodcock.
Replacements: Andrew Hore, Ben Franks, Ali
Williams, Victor Vito, Andy Ellis, Stephen Donald, Sonny Bill Williams.
Quite surprised McCaw is playing, he's not trained all week, supposed to be in a bad way
