Great signing for Sale> not sure its the right club for Gray. Sale have a pretty poor pack.

Yeh I'm suprised he has chosen Sale, no offence Steve, but apparently turned down Saracens. Maybe he didnt get brainwaved and buy in to the 'there is something special happening at Saracens' s*hite.

cracking signing and not one I was expecting.

I suspect we paying him about as much as your paying Filipo and Poff Chris!!!

On a serious note Diamond has sold his 'Vision' to a lot of players that I would't expect us to sign. I suspect Gray, Powell and Fourie all had better offers than Sale in one way or another (Cash, Destination etc). Scottish influence might have helped our cause with Vernon, Dickinson and McKenzie already in our pack.

Our side is shaping up nicely. We just need a 10 and some props who can scrumage or for our current props to pull themselves together. Really need our current set of players to get us into the HC for next season.

You offered Fourie a little more than Irish did, and despite him wanting to join Irish due to HC rugby, Leeds wouldnt sell him to us as we p issed them off with the 'tapping up' stuff.

Gray going to Sale could be location also, Manchester is a hell of a lot closer to Glasgow than Watford.

I'd be very surprised if Sale made the HC this year Steve.

I expect us to finish 8th tbh but if we can push up a few spots then we have a good chance of getting something if we finish in 7th.

Wib=n our home games and see what we can get.

Going to be tight, for me top 6 will be.

Saracens, Harlequins, Leicester, Northampton, Bath, London Irish

Obviously I'm biased and Gloucester could well be up there too.

Think Wasps lack depth and a couple of injuries will fade. Sale could be up there but think they will miss out.

Don't rule out Falcons just yet. If Sale can sign Richie Grey we could sign Bakkies Botha Wink

I think we have enough locks Driver, a backrower or hooker wouldn't go a miss though.

I think it's time Gopperth moved on tbh, hopefully he won't follow us to the Championship.

I think if we keep the majority of our team fit we will get top 6. injuries to bowden, ojo, gibson, paice etc could kill us.

There's a lot of critism of Goppereth flying about as he trys to win the game on his own - i remeber seeing a video of him on youtube taking the ball back in towards the forwards and diving over.

Give Hodgson the start Tait! He should know that kids something special by now!

I'd love to see Cattrick or Hodgson given the chance but they'd suffer tbh. Be better for it next year but we'd def be relegated

But Hodgson is struggling to make an impact in national leagues 1 so I understand why he hasn't been thrown in. He will be class just not his time yet.

I think we'll sign Walder back. Local lad and hasn't settled in Japan by all accounts - would be a good solid signing.

Realistic signings for Falcons would be

Dave Walder
Marty Holah
Xavier Rush

Them sort of players. Big signings expected soon mind
