Who'll win the Heineken Cup?
First topic message reminder :
I think its down to Toulouse, Leinster and Clermont. If Leicester Tigers can get a favourable draw in the knockouts they'll come into the mix too.
What you reckon - who's gonna be champs in Twickers this May? And will the later start to the cup affect many teams?

Re: Who'll win the Heineken Cup?
The depth issue is less of a problem for them this year as with Cato and Artymiev signed on they now are more dangerous from deep, May offers a more cultured running threat through the centre, Lamb has much better vision and distribution opening that backline up and in the front row Paul Doran-Jones is a really good scrummaging tighthead so when Mujarti is running on empty the replacement is high class as well. Even the second row is looking more meaty with Manu Samoa in there as an additional enforcer and the backrow is supplemented with academy player Ben Nutely whose last name is quite fitting as he seems to have a Moody esque outlook on his personal safety.
A much stronger squad than last season, that's without mentioning Roberts the Welsh international 9 signed as backup to Dickson. Not the most fearsome squad going but if you've got a weakness up front they'll find it and exploit it.

Sam if the Saints squad is so much stronger why couldn't they win more matches without their world cup boys?

red stag i think this may bite you in the backside if not on saturday but at the end of the group stages.
i am very surprised that they have not gone with Myler for a wet November night in Limerick. Lamb though talented is mercurial and prone to shockers. Botha is the key man. If Munster survive in the scrum which i think they will now they should scrape it.
