Re: Quiz Questions
Is it something to do with the owners? The Steelers belong to the Rooney family and that's an Irish name,

Re: Quiz Questions
King Kenny knows everything Thomond, I'm just another poor relation in comparison - when I do Google answers I don't post them.
Beyond the Taoiseach's I don't know much about Irish Government but I do know there's never been a Rooney as Taoiseach so unless you dish up some stonking clues I have nothing else to offer.

Re: Quiz Questions
No Poitier's other diplomatic work is the answer although he does work for UNESCO.. I don't think this will be got. I only found it out the other day and that's because they had an article about him in the paper.

Re: Quiz Questions
No, I don't think so - I do know Poitier was the first Black actor to be nominated for an oscar, but I have to be honest here, I actually thought he was dead. Shame on me.

Re: Quiz Questions
Well I knew that the Rooney's, formerly Art, owned the Steelers, but that has already been said. I reckon if that is close you should give it to PJ

It might help if you told us which Rooney you're talking about, I know it's not Wayne - unless it's "Granny sh@gger of the Year".

I just checked my own answer and I was so far off!
It was Rod Steiger and he didnt win an Oscar for it!
Re: Quiz Questions
He didn't even get a nomination for it - but to be fair I think he should have, one of his best performances.

Ok, here's one.
What lake holds the most freshwater in the world? I say freshwater to discount the caspian sea, which is huge but doesn't count as a lake technically.
