Maybe a small ban for Servat in the offing. Toulouse could do without him being banned with Botha badly injured.

Big match-ups all over the park in this one. Sarries pack is stronger as a unit, should take this one I think

They will if they keep gifting points to Farrell who won't miss many.
Over confidence perhaps from Quins.

Great news, if we can keep everyone fit and not suspended for a bit, we could put a little run together that sees us get towards the end of the season still in there fighting for a play off spot.

Our backs played well today, except shingler, armitage was very good. Scrum and lineout went well but in the loose we lacked a bit of grunt that hala'ufia or big trev provide. Thorpe was anonymous! Bryn Evans looks good now can see why he played for all blacks (albeit once)

Shings did ok. He's still a kid, will be a good 10 with gametime under his belt. Thorpe is never a starter, decent off the bench, but Alex Gray has to start at 8 against Bath in the absence of the Pacific Island boys.

Immense in defence as usual, didn't get a lot of ball on attack. Good try though.

I was not that taken with 36 today thought he took some poor options and also did some good stuff. Part of being young I suppose. Saxons at best currently for me.
Think he shows promise though

League table updated.
Man it is going to be one hell of a bunfight for a play off spot second half of the season.

I think there's plenty of time for things to change in any case.
You intent on retaining the title then mate? Not been done so far since the game started, and to be fair, I am definitely after regaining it this season!

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
Play offs will be so tight this year. I'll do very well to hold onto my spot as I still have to go to Newcastle, Sarries, Gloucester, Sale, Exeter and Saints. Also doesn't help me that I don't have all that many SH players who will be availible during 6N as many of my top men are from NH.
Will be very interesting.
Pooly I am away from PC so on draft just pick me rooney or sackey or the best player availible Please

Lot's of twists and turns still to come I suspect Steve, likewise in the real AP where it's even tighter than in this game.
Unbeliveable that the Chiefs got a losing binus point away from home and dropped from 3rd to 8th as a result. That is tough.

Probably all those splinters in his ass after warming the bench for best parts of two seasons!
Really could do with a move, good prospect but is getting took over by others due to lack of game time

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
Where did you read that Pooly?
He had a good game on the wing on Tuesday against the Chiefs, but I still see full back as his best position.
His attacking game is coming on, you can see him trying to run the ball more now than he used to, but he's not ready for England yet. He needs the rest of the season with Irish, and maybe a Saxons spot either in the 6 Nations or the summer, and just let him develop naturally.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
I think Healy is jumping the gun a bit, Homer is a very good player, and will continue to improve as he ahs a good worj ethic, but he's not ready for international rugby just yet, especially not on the wing.
If there was a sudden crisis and Foden, Armitage and Brown were all unavailable, I would possibly take him at full back over Morgan and Goode, but would rather see him play Saxons first to be honest.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
I like Homer, think his attaacking is a bit underrated because of his kicking game - if we had a fly half who couldnt kick goals then there might be a chance for him in the England fold , but I think that there are a lot better options coming through on the wings for England atm - e.g. would much prefer Jonny May given a try there...
Really don't like the ESPN commentators, its just a Leicester old boy club. I really like the Sky team though - think Greenwood and Dean Ryan are great and show a lot of knowledge. Often wondered whehter they could become good coaches?

Chris I couldn't agree more. I quite liked the patter with Kay and Healy at first but Healy is a prize tool tbh, some of his statements are bizarre.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
He says things for effect rather than actually meaning them to be honest.
I like Ben Kay, he gives some good analysis, particularly of forward play, but Healy gets very irritating very quickly.
