First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the wedding pictures of Dan Carter and Honor Dillon above the bar! And if anyone tells the Australian Womens' Weekly that KiwiRedDevil's Mum smuggled a camera into the service* there'll be hell to pay - they paid a fair amount for the exclusive Wink Run

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

* Note to any lawyer-y types, that's a joke and is completely and utterly false, Mum forgot to put the camera in her handbag

6-16 at half time. Ospreys losing with 70% of the possession. Why? The simple answer is that they can't deal with Saracens blitz defence. How much they will concede again with Paul James off for 10 is a big question.

2 things. The yellow was a massive decision. It was the third penalty on the trot in scrums against James. However all three could have gone the other way and it could have been Stephens in the bin.

1st scrum Saracens go straight down - Hames pinged for not binding

2nd scrum Saracens don't engage James penalised for a free kick offence which he didn't even committ.

3rd scrum Stephens goes straight in on Hibbsrd and doesn't bind. James (THE Flip LOOSE HEAD) gets pinged for boring in! Un be Fu kc in li ev ab le.

Add to that the fact that a blitz defence is all the easier when they start two yards offside and I think I can understand your Osprey mate's anger Gibbo.

Where's Rory G...

Well that should have been an ideal start to the second half for the Os, but Dan Biggar misses a relative sitter.

Mrs P it has been freezing for the past two hours. That on top of a couple of sleet showers. Tomorrow morning will be interesting.
Lucky I don't understand Cardiff. They have so many good players but seem to lack direction and commitment.

Actually,

Notch!

The BBC seem to have changed their mind about the weather. It might be icy tomorrow morning afterall.

I hope not though as MiddleP has her first hockey match tomorrow. It was supposed to be a couple of weeks ago but it was called off then because of the weather too. She will be disappointed if it is postponed again.

Good Morning all,

Thanks for the updates...

Just dropped off some relatives at the airport.... I was nearly blinded coming back over the bridge. I hate it when I leave my sunnies on the side table at home... exactly where I left them. Erm

Frustrating play from the Os in the build-up to Ashley Beck's non-try: two or three good drives around the fringes make them some ground, then for some unknown reason the forwards decide to fan out in midfield to take the ball standing still when it comes out to them. You were making ground, keep at it!

Told them the taxi was returning to Ballymoney at 1.00pm sharp. Very Happy

This house looks like Santa's Grotto. 3 live-in rugby players in the house makes it fun for me.
Loads of pints and convo in the local on Pitshanger Lane (50 metres form here). MrsG, her sis and neice have made the place looking like something from a Christmas movie. Just lovely.

Game over. 19-12 to Edinburgh. A good (5pts) win for LI tomorrow and the group is wide open. PC Pete will be getting all excited at the Possibility of Irish qualifying from this group.

Line, Paterson was neither good or bad of you know what I mean. Only thing of note was a poor pass in a good Edinburgh attack.
