The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the wedding pictures of Dan Carter and Honor Dillon above the bar! And if anyone tells the Australian Womens' Weekly that KiwiRedDevil's Mum smuggled a camera into the service* there'll be hell to pay - they paid a fair amount for the exclusive
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?
Old Pub: https://www.606v2.com/t19779-the-dew-drop-inn-virtual-rugby-pub#757023
* Note to any lawyer-y types, that's a joke and is completely and utterly false, Mum forgot to put the camera in her handbag

ha well hope it makes a bit more sense anyway!
Ooo almost time to log off, go get my hair cut and then drinking time! (and some food)
Not sure if I'll get in here later (would perhaps be advisable that I'm not!) so enjoy the rugby all, and I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Evening pub
Just a quickie here - has anyone else ever been given a friendly warning by Sport Guru about a pick they've made - or am I just being generally abused by a piece of software?

That's happened to me before, PJ. It was in the group stages of the World Cup and I was tipping France to beat New Zealand. It would hardly have been the first time they'd beaten the All Blacks in a World Cup, but I was warned all the same.

Evening All.
TFI Friday. This working set times malarky is actually giving my employer free overtime from me. I've never finished work on time yet! Still, I'm not complaining it's good to be busy. The time goes so quick.
Hope everyone is well and good. Nice to see Risca Rev had the chance to pop in too.

They certainly are MrsP. That's good though, it means I'm required! I was telling one of the late shift lads my Tommy story. He thought it was fab. Showed him the photo on my phone as well. Can't believe it's nearly been a whole year since I cwtched him. Seems like last weekend!

They are indeed MrsP. Kicks off at 8. sadly, Tommy's had a couple of injuries this year (nothing to do with me!) which have put him out of action a bit, but he's doing OK.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I read that too Mrs P - I didn't know where Risca was and felt a bit of a fool about my post when I read that he was in Afghanistan, I had no idea.
Lucky - I can't see why that was such an odd pick, a bit harsh.
Glas - I only picked Bath by a point and only because I can't pick against my beloved, just one of the chinks in my almost non-existent armour. I did win the WC SG but to be fair I had a couple of purple patches on margin points in the pool stages, and after that the only surprise really was France losing to Tonga, so it was enough to stay ahead. I'm finding the HC a struggle tho.
Asbo - that's how I felt, humiliated, but round here a "Friendly Warning" is something you get just before or just after a feckin good slap, so I also felt a bit intimidated.
Anyway if Bath win by 1 I'm going back on to give that software a piece of my mind
Nah, not happening is it?

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
It doesn't look like it from the current forecast Notch.
I would imagine Phil and his hurdlers will be there. They are no trouble though. It Cross Country season just now so I can't see the track getting much use.
I'd say it will be deathly quiet.
In other words you should have no problems getting to see all the rugby you can on the WiFi!

Pre-cisely!
It was as dead as it ever has been last weekend. I'm imagining my shift on Christmas Eve will top it all though.

Ospreys are being completely suffocated in truth lucky. Yellow for repeated scrum offences now for the Os.

Ospreys really haven't looked like unlocking this Sarries defence. Doesn't help when you concede a charge-down try and now get a player sin-binned. 16 - 6 now.

Edinburg are handing out a lesson to Cardiff. How are they unbeaten in that group. They look as bad as they did the night I saw them in the RDS.
