It's really easy but takes around an hour to do each week.
Would just need to start a new topic each week by the tab at the top (2 seconds to do) then put all the teams in before predo's start (your deadline really)
You just press quote on each time a manager uploads his team and copy into your page or do it as a oner.
Would be a big help mate

Aye mate. Also hoping people judge this as a full pre-season so combo's should be pretty settled etc.
After 1st prem game though I personally will want to see players bedded in

Whats all this about fatigue and bedding in? All new to me, is this something you do in your other game? Mihgt need to be brought up to speed on some things, as I'm one of the few who haven't played it. Cheers

Re: Aviva Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
Just think of it as real life a bit more. You wouldn't play the same team every week, especially the forwards.
Same way as you wouldn't sign a lineout lock or 10 and expect him to fully know the calls/moves.
Depending on position Id look to bed/bench a new player for around 2-4 weeks

Re: Aviva Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
It's like throwing a new signing in would get marked down as he wouldn't know the patterns of play , lineout calls or moves. Fatigue is if someone plays too many games they won't be at 100% after a while and will get marked down for that. It's about building a 40 man squad this game not the best 15.

Re: Aviva Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
Ok fair enough, would be looking at doing props 50/30 mins alternative weeks anyway and mixing up my back row. In the backs, i'd be looking to blood youngsters in selected games and from 60mins onwards. Guess if I say things like that in my tactics, you will all get my drift?

Too old to chase me Pooly??!!
To be fair Bathite, all I do is keep track of how many games/subs my players make in league, cup and europe and how many points they all have.

Re: Aviva Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
I had a spread sheet going but keeping it updated was a night mare! Gave it up weeks and weeks ago. Think Pete had one going last year as he took fatigue in to account for the injuries.
If you do the same as Prop you should be fine Bathite mate. Only takes 10 minutes to update a spread sheet each week as you name your own side.
You will definately get pulled on fatigue if you dont rotate your side through the season. Was one of the main contributing factors in Gloucester losing the league and heino final in season 2 on the original aviva if I remember rightly

Re: Aviva Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
Just so everything is above board, I say now (and those on the other AP game know this anyway) that I base my predictions heavily on current form of players as opposed to big names. If your team/tactics are set out well for the conditions and you have in form players, even if they are unfashionable ones, you are more likely to get the win from me than a team with loads of stars in but no form.

I rate a bit on 50/50....I still rate a world class player highly after about 6months injured but starts to drop away after that.
Like to see a balanced too and predict heavily on set piece in certain conditions.

fair play mate. if you play like you did against us for the rest of the season you will be fine!
then again, you wont come up against many teams who will play as bad as we did.
massive game for us against Sale. have to win these games to get top 6.

Yeah, I'm pretty realistic mate, I know how badly you guys played. Just encouraged that we actually had some fight and that the forwards did some work for once. Sorry to use a cliche, but the table doesn't lie, there are many reasons why we are 10th and deserve to be. Good luck for the rest of the season, have a soft spot for Irish, Catty is one of my all time favs and I loved Mapasua.

Yea it's fine mate, I've only done these two friendlies for the new guys to get to grips with it.
The proof will be when you get marked down in predo's for poor/no tactics. I usually have a wet and dry set I've saved that I just fudge a little, only takes 2 mins.
