at least 24 hours after the bid I believe Pete. but not so that if you have the highest bid for over 24 hours he is automatically signed.

Morning all,
It's great that I have my own team to manage, but makes it hard to look at objectively. Had some interesting and fair comments about back three and centres, but which to improve first? Who is the weak link
11 Banahan
12 Barkley
13 Hipkiss/Carraro
14 Biggs
15 Bendy
I'm thinking Barkley?

Re: Aviva Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
I think in terms of this game looking at all the starting backlines, yours is a pretty good one.
Abendanon for me is hit and miss. Was class against Irish but have seen him been exposed in defence a lot this season. Barkley hasnt regained form since injury but that might come in time. So I guess at the moment 12 is your weakest link, but Barkely might come good soon.

Re: Aviva Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
To be fair Bathite, none of them are particularly a weak link, certainly not at this stage in the game anyway, where other teams are not filled with world class stars in every position.
Defensively you back three can be got at though, particularly in bad weather conditions, as can Barkley. As an attacking unit, in good conditions it's as good as anyones in this league at the moment.

Re: Aviva Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
Thanks a lot, really helpful. Shaw and Franks adds that grunt to the pack, so i'm hoping that will give Classens and Donald quicker ball and more space, which should make the backs look even better?
Can't justify a speedster winger just yet, need to secure ball first, especially in the prem, basics basic basics. No use me having Digby if he doesn't get the ball!
Might get me some cover for Barkley then

Re: Aviva Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
Agree with Nick & Pete, it's not about finding starts in every position and your side has a nice balance to it.
I'd possibly look at replacing Barkley with a bulldozing 12 to give you another game plan.

Should I be looking at a 10 or a 7 as my next foreign? Noticed a few people calling me up with not having a natural 7!

I'm torn between another backrower or a tighthead prop. In real life, Wasps scrum has been going OK for a change. Backrow seems to be so important and getting quick ball for my back line is vital.

Broster was goood against Leicester also. Added the loose work to his game so you don't mind him going backwards in the occasional scrum.

Payne has been past awful this season for me, terrible rugby player. Seems to have found a whole new low.
He was pretty good v Tigers though which totally threw me

Still can't believe he was called onto the Lions tour.
