Just watched the game on replay. Ferris destroyed them and pienaar great. Leicester dominated physically. Said many times can't believe wanneberg muller and trimble have not been bought.

I don't need them save for wanneberg but they would improve so many sides.

Also they perform well over here. Trimble can play 13 also.

Youngs dreadful but as said before
Had a
Moment of magic and showed
Why we should persevere despite his wretched form. 36 given no help by youngs who as a senior international should have helped him. Pienaar who is a 3nd choice SA international schooled him. To be fair pienaar is wc and the difference showed.

Amazed Leicester picked Hawkins who can't scrum. The scrum should have been Leicesters trump card but Hawkins kills that as he is along with lawson the worst scrummaging hooker around.

Thought tuoy who was useless at glos went well and gilroy looks a talent.

Cave better every time I see him and best one of the best hookers in the world on form.

Last time i saw Morgan when he had a long term injury he said he would not do rehab again. Only 26 and each time he loses a bit of pace. Would have been England regular but for injuries same as jsd.

Glos have bad luck with backs injuries. We used to think it was training methods but have had lots of different coaching set ups and still same injuries in backs. Outside 9 and 10 we always have injuries.

Youngs isnt playing with any confidence at the moment - think the WC was the thing that did him and he hasnt got his form back yet. Sure he will soon, as when he does he is one of our most important players - hopefully new coaching regime will see him get better at England.

Twelvetrees needed a lot more support from 9 and 12 today, Rugby Club made some very good points about him and his less than subtle kicking game.

To be fair Leicester are in dire form and that was only hidden last week against Wasps because that club is in free fall atm with all the injuries - Tigers still have a good squad, but Saints and Sarries ahve a far, far stronger match day squad! Actually think the Saints 'A' team could beat Wasps right now!

Youngs was not dreadful and is not in wretched form, he just had a game youd expect him too behind a beaten pack. Ulster just looked more up for it and dominated the forward play, fair play to them.

Pienaar played well but was on front foot all game behind a pack that wanted to win and played at 100 mile an hour. Was never in doubt that Ulster would lose that game.

Quote Stuart Barnes " youngs is in a difficult period his game is nowhere near right"

I worry about our team in 6n. Loads of inexperience and our key players like youngs,Ashton not playing well.

Only foden ,croft,cole,palmer
and Hartley who have experience have form.

Those 5 so crucial

Be interesting to see what back line Glaws will field during 6N/Saxons

9.Lewis
10.Taylor
11.Phillips
12.EFS
13.Tindall
14.Voyce
15.Sin Bad

I'd hate to have Voyce in my side at 15. Awful player , has out and out pace but not much else.

Sin bad could be a stroke of magic at 15.

Palmer doesn't have form at all, he's been very poor for Stade when he's managed to get a start ahead of Mostert, which hasnt been that often.

Barnes:

"Good finish by Murphy but that try was all about Ben Youngs"

Seems he can't quite make his mind up lol

Youngs hasnt been on fire but he's not played badly, can't be world class all the time. He has been far from "dreadful", expect more from you Matt as you know about rugby!

Sharples isn't firing like last season but I would not say he's been dreadful, he's just not hiting the heights that he can. If I'd never seen him before I wouldn't think he was out of form though.

Pooly that pass to murphy was wc as mentioned by me he Is still having magic moments but just seems lost and his kicking whining and decision making are shot.

Still our number 1 and sure will come good but since injury has struggled. He should be our best player

It should be a great game. Morgan looking very handy as well.

Would have like to have seen Dickson play today. Davies for Scarlets is class so would have been a good test.

Ref seems to have an agenda against Saints here.

I think Hartley will captain against Scotland but won't be named permanently. I think it will go to Wood long term.

I hope Lancaster gets the job permanently. Won't do any favours to change things round in the summer or next autumn. Give him till the end of 2013 I reckon.

Scarlets are infringing left, right and centre and nothing is said. Can't stand Rolland,

I don't want Mallet. Nothing special in my view.

Just means all change in a year or so's time. Just some consistency.

Lovely kick from Preistland there. Class act.

Artemyev doing well.

Saints get penalties given against them though - Scarlets are getting away with everything. Always the way with Rolland though.

Myler's putting in a calming performance. Foden's defence is incredible, he can't be far off best 15 in the world.

I'd only have Dagg as ahead of Foden and even then he hasn't been consitent for a long time. Beale's defence is non existant at times and I think Foden is allround a better players.

I'd rather see Cardiff than Edinburgh in the Qfs simply so we can see Warburton and Halfpenny against top class opposition. Love the pair and think they are pure class.

Unlikely to see these due to seedings but would love to see

Munster v Leinster
Ulster v Toulouse
Quins v Cardiff
Saracens v Clermont

Just finished watching Quins v Glaws on record. Johnston brillaint at the scrum and really showed Wood up. Marler also great in scrum once he came on.

Burns could be another one of those players who is a world beater on there day but are awful at other times. Evans poor by his usually high standards.

Sharples made an awful mistake for the Brown try, Jonny May makes everything look so easy with his pace. Like when the junior player who has all the gas just runs around people for fun.

Strokosch and Qera really gave Robshaw and Faasavalu a bit of a lesson in the back row. Charlie Matthews could be a very useful player in the future.

Just watched glos game after playing.

We are so naieve. Brown and lawson let our scrum down so badly. When wood was yellowed we bought on James and dawiduik and 7 men did ok.

Glaws did well. We have no depth and have too many players playing too many minutes.

We will tank lots of games soon they are on last legs.

Qera owned robshaw and showed what an international 7 is.

Quins need to work out their backrow have 4 good players in Easter fasivalu wallace and robshaw but need balance.

Not seen game, Robshaw made most yards (3x Qera) of all forwards so seems to have done quite well there.

From what I've read(poor I know) Robshaw was better than Qera but Stocks was prob standout backrow.

Wood seems to be getting battered on a regular basis from the sounds of it, maybe not such a surprise he's not involved with England.

I think Qera played better on this day than Robshaw, but Burns also played better than Evans but doesn't mean he is a better player.

Johnston was good as was Tindall to be honest. JTH was good on the crash but looked lost in a bit of space which can't happen in an england shirt.

Brown keeps scoring these tries, can't ignore him although he wasn't at his best in all round play. Some lovely offload play by Quins, so tricky to defend against.

He took a risk and although it didn't pay off as such it didn't cost his side the game. Evans wasn't great off the tee today but it was a very basic kick.

1s driver beat top of table in a good performance.

Wood struggled from 60 minutes and struggled last week against worcester at same point. It's due to brown playing and dawiduik being injured.

Think Steven will agree qera was sensational. Did hard hard yards and owned the breakdown and smashed lots of quins into next week.

Robshaw should be 6 him and stroks very similar players and about same level would have been good contest.

Qera is a bit off Robshaw's level, can't compare Int for Fiji to getting in England side. Good carrier Qera but not much else

Qera was very good. He is one of those who could put Mccaw in his back pocket on his day but on other days could be made to look average by vastly inferior flankers.
