That would be my reaction exactly if I was a fan.
Why anyone gives him the time of day on twitter and actually reports what this non-entity is doing in the press is beyond me???

Err no we havent.we've lost players trillion size the ability of you
Theres a difference there. They did not emerge through the youth system.we lost Keane, Cantona other greats yet we move forward.
Argue all you want, all of our best talent through the Youth system has stayed at Manchester United. Please name an highly talented youth team player to leave Man United......I cant think of one.
ED, he is Manchester Born n Bred. Fans have watched him for 2 years excel at a youth level and KNOW he can be a big big World Class Star. Fans want him to be one at Man United. Nothing wrong with people giving "him the time of day".
He is still a Manchester United player, Fans turn on him he goes. Then we will have to watch him become a Superstar elsewhere because if, Big IF, he focuses he will become one

Ryan Shawcross
Highly talent Hero. Shawcross had talent but was not gifted.
lol, he play for United for seasons then left. He didnt leave from the Academy.Phil Neville
Ill save you guys another two: Robbie Savage & Keith Gillespie, both class of 92, both talented but never talked about at the time in the same light as Scholes and Becks.
Savage left in 94, changed from a striker to midfielder and his career began then.
Gillespie went in 95 as part of the Andy Cole deal.
Argubaly both of them didnt leave straight from the youth system.
Carry on guessing but im pretty sure all Man United highest youth talents have stayed at the club

Scholes wasn't class of 92.
You'd think a United fan would know that.

Both played in the academy according to my sources.
Nick is probably right, but I think that is true with a lot of clubs. How many Chelsea academy players leave at academy age and make it big elsewhere. or Liverpool. Or Arsenal?
I don't think United have got much of a claim than a lot of other teams

Okay Nick, of that class of 92, how many carried on to have a longish term success at United. Same for the class of 95 who also won the Youth Cup

Platt has to be considered as one, several years in the Youth team then went straight to Crewe.

David Platt - Actually he could be considered one.
Gerard Pique - Barca
Shaun Goater - humm, dont think he was part of the youth teams. But anyway he wasnt a high talent

I am going to release Alessandro Gamberini unless someone wants to make me an offer. I can release him for 2.8M so any offers above that will be accepted.

Rooney...
I could list you all the West Ham players that have gone from our academy to elsewhere, or even worse those that have come through, played for us and then buggered off. That would be some list.

Is that the same Rooney who had played 77 times for us, was playing for England and had been England's best player at Euro 2004 (incidentally since he left us, he has been poor for England)
