Heads of the EPL Gregers and Sainty apologize for recent events and state that the league will be sorted out ASAP, all fixtures against Warwickshire from this week forward will be counted as 6-0's for the team that was due to play them.

After the sudden walk out of their coach, Essex Eagles are in dire straits. Update, the ex-Kolkata Knight Riders coach Shanky has taken the position. Big changes expected at Essex.

Quick question (new to this, sorry if I'm being a bit thick)

If I want to buy a released player, obviously it's the release price + £50k, do I just confirm straight away or is there more to it than that?

Just put a bid on the released players page so that me/sainty can cross out the player (so they don't get bought twice). Then go and confirm it

The only other option is, there are no set prices on the unattached players and over the course of tomorrow everyone PM's you or Sainty their highest offer for the players they want, and whoever bids the highest by say 9pm wins those players? Adds a bit of tactics to it by knowing how much you want to spend on each player, but trying to keep it at a minimum.

The only trouble is that you and Sainty will know what the bids are if you guys want to bid for players, but you two could just PM Fists your bids before you open any PM's? I dunno, but it seems like a decent idea to me.

What's happening with Kent and Hampshire? Just wondering, as there's some decent players in their ranks. Will they be going into auction or are we waiting to see if anyone picks up those sides?

obviously its not down to me, however i think that the hamps, kent players should go into unattached players auction....and dont have anyone managing them, just keep the sides we have.

I suppose you could probably have another 'silent auction' (planned a couple of days in advance this time so people don't carelessly miss it completely Very Happy

). If they left the competition it would also probably mean Worcs. moving to the South group or simply random groups.
