The Official 2013 Wales v England bickering thread.
First topic message reminder :
2013 bickering thread
OK, every year we see threads that actually contain really good rugby discussion derailed by the ongoing Wales vs England bickering and WUMMING! I will name no names. I guess we have all been guilty.
Since most of the general bickering comes from the respective fans of Wales and England ; I thought I would create a thread for it in an effort to keep decent rugby discussion relatively WUM free in other threads.
Let it commence

Is it coming up time to get this thread rolling again?
Ospreys V Leicester this weekend, Blues V Sale next weekend, then the LV= and the 6 Nations.
It must be time to see who can whizz the highest again?

Good news,
So Shrink aka Ruby and I can resume our good natured bantering.
Although the Wales game is at the v end of the 6N, so we all need to be careful to pace ourselves and not shoot our bickering bolt. We do not need to peak too soon.

Elephant, that may be a little early yet. You might dart ahead and make yourself a target for the support runners, but then find yourself isolated & get pinged.

There was a black wall in on of the pubs i used to go to, with a peice of chalk there. Fair play some of the markings on the wall were so high they must have been fake.

Petty, bad tempered, oh yes that is so right. Just checking.
HERSH definitely used the right word in the OP

I've only been here a short time but it does seem a number of you seem to miss this hersh chap, why was he banned from the forum if he was popular?
Case in point this post was started on the 26th Feb 2012 and is still being used.

Victor, he used to wind people up, but I always thought it was good-natured stuff. I'm guessing he overstepped the mark on a thread (or threads) I never read.

ahhh HERSH. Sacrificed himself upon the altar of wummery. Soon to be cannonised as St.HERSH patron saint of internet WUM's.
Victor, he had the knack of being able to throw petrol on the embers of potential fires and watching the fireworks fly. I liked HERSH, his posts made me smile a lot, but i can see how he was a mods nightmare!

The sad thing for me is that when he was on here, he really knew how to get certain people going, however he did it with real humour. Sadly there are still a handful of folk posting on here that have the same effect on me however they lack the humour totally.
Ironic thought, HERSH started this thread as an outlet for the anti-welsh/english WUMMING that tends to drag this board down over the AIs and 6Ns, however the last handful of posts by welsh and english posters have been in unity.

Oh Scarlet we are mostly fine chatting while no match is imminent. But I fear that start of March, maybe sooner, the heat and the WUMMING will pick up. Hersh set this up contructively / amusingly as the lightning conductor thread, to help keep the others threads clean. Sadly the bickering tends to spill over onto the other threads regardless.

There are too many precious posters on this board who take umbrage at their own shadow and then go running to the mods - very childish! If you can't take a bit of stick you're not a rugby fan, please don't let this board become too sanitised. I've said it before, this board is a cross between 1984 and the Lord of the Flies and before long it'll be just Jack's big brother congratulating himself on here.

and Morgannwg there is no need for that, I thought rugby fans tend to get on?

Hersh certainly had a sense of humour, which is refreshing on 606 and on this thread in particular. This subject can draw some very serious people, with an SOH bypass..

All HERSH did was repeat media misquotes and come out with the same bolox over and over again. He made himself come across as a fool, it was funny to laugh at him, not with him. So with that said, am I missing HERSH the moron? No. What about you Victor, do you miss HERSH the moron?

Hersh was a laugh and always up for banter. Despite his persona of Roger Nouveux from the fast show. At least he was up for a bicker, you Morg are way too uptight...
