Yet you can bring an Air Rifle in and shoot someone in the leg Headscratch

If the kid was going to make it, he wouldn't have been sacked.

Ashley Cole with the air rifle, he's still a valuable asset to the club so he escaped being sacked. Like I said, if Jacob Mellis was going to be a valuable asset to Chelsea FC, he wouldn't have been sacked.

Mellis, 21, joined Chelsea from Sheffield United five years ago and has been tipped to be a first team regular. So clearly was some kind of asset to them id have just flogged him to some crap side at the end of the season just seems odd to sack someone and let them go for free

But then how many has Ronaldo scored against Barcelona. How many games has he been on the winning side of against their biggest rivals?

Stats can be twisted any way you want to twist them, but for me Messi is comfortably > Ronaldo.

But the value of Jacob Mellis and Ashley Cole vary by millions. Using transfermarkt as a poor example;

Ashley Cole - £15M
Jacob Mellis - unknown

He might have earned the club say £250k if they sold him, but it's not like they can't afford it. £15M on the other hand would be a lot harder to let go for free. They're still sore over the Adrian Mutu cocaine thing years ago.

It was a direct quote from Muamba, so was needed for the context of the quote. Without it, I would have been misquoting him.

Which could have been slanderous and that would then be a breach of the forum rules.

So in fact, I had to use the term to remain within the forum rules

Libellism is actually that much an issue as many people believe on internet forums, it's only regarded as slander when its the views of those posting on a forum.

It went to the law courts over as obviously a lot gets said on internet forums etc and the judge ruled that it can only be regarded as slander at most and therefore not held accountable against site owners etc.

Disagree.

Whilst he is a fantastic finisher i think he would struggle in a team where he isn't the focal point.

As for Messi, simply astonishing. However i won't believe his is the best in the world until he's passed the Tuesday night at Stoke test and done one of the following...

1) Won the world cup.
2) Cured cancer.
3) Instigates world peace.

you have to be world class to attempt to deal with wallcott passing to you.

i dunno where to put rooney. i only want him when playing 2 up top, when up top on his own he will drag the entire team out of positions because he comes so deep.

rooney is wworld class. but a bit dumb

Rooney would get all the assists. Do remember RVP does set a lot of goal up. When Cesc was there and other players who could score RVP got a lot of assists too.

I wont know why Wenger has RVP taking corners. I would would want my prolific goalscorer in the box

Wenger must look at the role that Cesc plays for Barca and realise he missed a trick.

Vermaelen could take a good corner, but you'd want him in the box too I guess. Get Szcezny up to take them, he's got a good right foot. Walcott can guard the goal.

Morning

Whilst he is a fantastic finisher i think he would struggle in a team where he isn't the focal point.

What like Messi?

when up top on his own he will drag the entire team out of positions because he comes so deep.

Like the season he scored 30 plus goals?
