First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The pub has ventured to Cross Keys, as their team is in the British and Irish Cup Final.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Richie McCaw, George Smith, Robert Nash,Billy Holland, John Muller, Greg Laidlaw, Aurelien Rougerie, Leo Cullen, Rhys Thomas and Iestyn Thomas.

Ale coffee mug guinness cider RedWine Bubbly

My 14-year-old nephew is playing for Belfast Junior Giants Ice Hockey U16's in a Tournament in Scotland this weekend.

They have only recently started playing the contact version of the sport.

I hope you do well Chris Boyd. thumbsup

Thats the same for every team anywhere in the world. I dont dislike their players . . . .apart from Delon Armitage. In fact some of my favourite players have played for them. I dont like the way they conduct themselves off the pitch.

I could say the same about Steve Hayes.

Whistle

Some of the club owners in France seem to have massive egos. Toulon, SF & RM92 have spent fortunes and won jack in the last three seasons.

If Wasps stay up then ex back row, Ken Moss looks likely to step in and buy the club. Stage one needs to happen next Saturday but everyone I know, Wasps wise, is delighted at this news.

SUFTBAG.

Only just got up, best sleep in ever. Relaxing brecwast now before I have to go shopping. Going to be super speedy at it so I can just get it over and done with. Then more relaxing before the rugby. This is going to be a proper chill out weekend for me.

Safe travels to everyone who is going to the games, and pob lwc to all the teams Smile

I can't find any score updates of the Ponty v Drovers game anywhere! most annoying.

Looking forward to the Biarritz v Brive game in a bit though, should be a good build up to the Ulster v Edinburgh game. I'm getting excited for that one now, so goodness only knows how the fans of the actual teams are feeling!

It's going to be a magic day of rugby Smile

Ozzy - aye it is a bit, conditions look a bit dire though!

10 - 0 to Ponty so far, Drovers getting themselves into great positions but always ending it with a knock on. Somehow that sounds familiar....

Just realised that if Ponty win they are guaranteed the final spot and not Llanelli - merde!

It's a wet one alright dreamer. Brive look a bit impotent in attack though. Even when they've been in a decent position they seem clueless as to how to finish the thing off.

They were the same against Scarlets, Pete. Plenty of possession, not a clue with what to do with it!

20 - 0 to Ponty, Llanelli will have to win the play off game to make the final now me thinks.

There had better not be any traffic in an hour and a bits time. Have to pick up the wife and one of the littlies from the theatre at about 5.15. With no traffic it's a 20 minute journey back. can be double that if the traffic is bad.

Pray for me people, I want to watch the game live!!!
