We did reject the approach but then he resigned so we backtrackked and accepted the approach so he wouldn't resign and we could get compensation for him

Poor attempt at banter. Have a search of the players who have left Macclesfield in the last few years to play in a higher league.

Muller was Marky's star player there.

I think that is frightening, when you consider both CDM are french and the attacking midfielders can interchange and are all German

When you consider;
Handanovic
Rafinha - Höwedes - Boateng - Badstuber
Khedira - Kroos
Farfan - Dempsey - Rodriguez
Soldado

Agree. Muller leaving is an issue, but I have Dempsey, who according to you I could sell for £50 Kagillion

Re: Homepage (Season 2)
In regards to the Royal Family I heard that they as an entire group cost the British public 21p per year per person from their wage.
Can someone confirm this and also does anyone know how this compares with the estimated income they bring to the country due to tourism?

2010 estimate was £38m cost to the public to keep them
It's hard to quantify the revenue they bring in I think, but tourism wise I'm sure they aren't a hiderance. And look at the attention we get when one of them gets married!
