Foreign Transfer Bidding Page
First topic message reminder :
As a general rule, if you want a world class player (and by world class I mean a player that I consider to be one of the 3 best in the world in his position at the moment), you will be looking at between £20-25 million.
For a top international with over 30 caps, £17-22 million, and an international with less than 30 caps £15-20 million. There may be some exceptions to this in the case of certain players, but this will be the general rule.
There will be an upper limit of £10 million for uncapped academy aged players unless two or more managers want the player and enter into a bidding war in which case there is no upper limit.
Bids for uncapped players who are over academy age limits will be judged on their own individual merits.
Current Bids Under Consideration
* = current bidding wars.

Foreign Transfers
To make a foreign transfer (i.e from any club outside of the AP, regardless of whether the player is English) a bid should be made on the Foreign Transfers Page, which will be considered by me against the posted guidelines for purchase prices before being accepted or rejected. No bid will be accepted until a minimum of 24 hours has elapsed from the time the bid was made, in order to afford other managers the opportunity to make a counter bid.
Foreign transfers will unlimited during the off season and 2 during the season. The exact dates of the two transfer windows during the season is to be confirmed.

Re: Foreign Transfer Bidding Page
Really like Imhoff, though think I may now need to get rid of Siviatu or another winger now. Was tempted with the Argentine TH you went for, really wanted a lineout second row, but couldnt find any available!

Re: Foreign Transfer Bidding Page
Was that who is Imhoff?
Argentine wing, scored 55 points in 14 games for them - plays for Racing Metro and got a very good try for them at the weekend. Was the one who got the breakaway try against the Aussies.
Really glad England didnt get Argentina in their pool at the next WC, think they are going to be a very good team by then.

Re: Foreign Transfer Bidding Page
Think he is 23 or so - only trouble is that he's with Racing Metro, so not the most popular teams for ratings!

Camacho been ther better winger for me. Gets less tries so maybe less headlines. Surprised no one went for him.

Re: Foreign Transfer Bidding Page
Its alright Matt mate but as we are getting technical your at squad limits by my count so your bid is null and void
Also you must have been over squad limits for a while with Tim Payne in the squad. Is that a fine I hear coming Pete

I was not using Payne just meant to release him . Julien Pierre will be released upon bid accepted

Re: Foreign Transfer Bidding Page
20m Fotuali
Do you not have to have your squad limits right before a bid is accepted?
If we are being technical you should be getting a fine Payne has been in match day squads (recently!) so has been used...
Can you tell I really want Fotuali?!

CJB, great bid with Foloa - was very tempted with him, think he could be a very good player. Only risk is how long he will stay in union. Great finisher!

Re: Foreign Transfer Bidding Page
How can you go 20 mil you have 19.5 according to budgets.
I will be trading fotuali when I get him so he would be available straight away.
Once a bid is accepted you can release a player been done loads of times before. If i have to do it before and go 21 I will.

Im the budget master Matt I always know what I have
Prefer to pay cash for him now if I can then have to try and trade with you. I'll beat you to the punch:
Sale bid 21m for Fotuali

Is JSD counting towards your 40 Mat, sure you sold him - keeping his name their for sentimental reasons!?
Would have liked to have gone for that Samoan too - anyone with any tips for another no9 around?
