JWC - Wales v Samoa
Early try for Wales. Welsh scrum dominant, though they have lost their own lineout.

^ totally legal south african tv link, nothing dodgy about this at all.
Yup just put it on, looks a good game to watch.

Samoa will need to avoid scrums if they are not to be hammered.

Rolling away from the tackle does not apply to Samoa it seems.

Sampson Lee seems to be playing, he is a magnificent scrummaging tight head prop, probably the best option Ireland have!

Only 10 minutes in, so hard to tell. Huge clearance kick by Samoa puts them in Wales 22 for first time

Re: JWC - Wales v Samoa
Samoa in from the side and playing the ball on the floor and they get a penalty?
Wind really favouring Samoa in the first half.
I think Wales will pull away in the second.

Re: JWC - Wales v Samoa
Ref says no advantage and gives Samoa a scrum. Wales destroy them, easy kick to go 8-3

Penalty to Wales from the scrum.
There going for the posts :/
Interesting to see that after Morgan horrible kicking against NZ, Prydie has been given the kicking duties.

Jeez, those kicks are flying into the Wales 22 from anywhere.
Samoa knock on the return though - not helping themselves, this will be a Welsh penalty no doubt.

Samoa have the wind at their back and are still getting crushed.
Another knock on from Samoa challenging for a kick.
Scrum = penalties for Wales.

Samoa just are not good enough. Nothing they can do really, but they get a final warning. This should be a huge score.

Yep, penalty.
Samson Lee is an awesome scrummager - he takes the hit and keeps driving.
Its a warning for the Samoa front row too.

Samson Lee, isnt he the young Scarlets TH? Big ginger fella from a romany gypsy background?
Ireland might need him more atm, but hands off! He's ours!
sounds like Samoa are getting good distance on their clearing kicks then?!
p.s cheers for the updates again guys!

Re: JWC - Wales v Samoa
Habberfield picks the ball out of the Samoa scrum and makes good ground down the left touchline - no support though and he's in touch.
Wales steal the lineout though.
5M out
Worked across easily to Prydie who dots down in the right corner
20 - 3

Yep he looks very good. If he chooses Wales, will will have him and Joe Rees at around the same age and both very destructive scrummagers.

Prydie has looked very good in this tournament
I think he will do well at the Dragons (not sure about him as a FB though) and could well find himself back in the Wales squad before too long.

We are prison shaming their scrum, it's only the wind keeping them in it

Shifting on some bad ball - I don't think Dan Thomas appreciated it.

Wales are generating quick ball - its almost impossible to stop them in Samoa's 22.
Try Ross Jones in the corner

dude it's a long standing joke, the irish always try and nick at least 1 player a season! Loxton and Jarvis last year, an attempt on Tom Prydie the season before that, so clearly Sampson Lee is the guy this season!

Re: JWC - Wales v Samoa
Anyone else think we look lethargic with the ball in hand? Perhaps they have been told to take it easy this half. They can't afford to play like this against the Baby Blacks in the semi.

Wales are dominant in every area. Just a matter of gaining territory then scoring.

I know, those pesky Irish poachers trying to steal welsh players and south african props! I didn't know they tried to steal Prydie, what's the story behind that? He's got an Irish granny has he?
