Substandard Liege seems to have won the poll, so as I am true to my word, that is now the official name for the team formally known as Sporting Sideburns.
Fittingly, Liege is where we signed Big Fella from, so I think TSC should sell him to me...

Cheers, Marky hurry up and give Twist the release prices so I can snap up King.

I can understand you releasing him, I was wandering why Viva would be so keen to snap him up.
Didn't you sign him from the releases in the first place?

No he is not retiring, Twist wouldn't try to sell him to someone knowing very well that he is retiring. Twist is a top lad and wouldn't dream of ripping someone of To Twist
Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage page XX
Yeah I needed cover rather than a CB first teamer. This was before the rumours floated around. He hasn't retired yet, but looks possible.
Viva is only saying that in a silly attempt to make me try and keep him

No seriously I'm going to buy him once you release him, he ain't going to cost much and will be a good back up.
Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage page XX
Ok, you can buy him from me for his release fee and cut out the middle man. It is 900k

Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage page XX
I'd rather buy from releases, I've got a few other players who are a priority and I wouldn't have the money to pay you now for King and it don't sit easy with me owning people money. That way there is no pressure on me to get the money or when doing deals thinking of the money I owe you.

It is 900K when you have 28m

Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage page XX
Like I said I have other positions which are more of a priority then CB, £28m is not much when you need a couple of first team players.
Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage page XX
That's fine. Not fussed where I get the money. I will just wait for Marky or if someone wants him for a little bit more. Marky offered me 1.125m earlier, so I might just be fair and sell King to him for 1m.

Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage page XX
If he's in releases I'll buy him if not so be it I'm not too bothered.
P.S Marky should get him if he enquired first or he can pick him up from releases instead of me I won't enter a fighting bid.

It's all happening on the realistic league this week, and it's cup week so it is a bit dead. Should pick up here once people get their sides sorted on my league.

Yeah it's ok can't complain. Saw a old couple with thier down syndrome son the other day and it made me very sad.
I'm after a couple of players a striker and left winger I may use some money or I may use it all on one player and do a PEX.
How are you Twisty and any new ideas with your team? Your side is looking good.

I'm on my phone so will do the releases later. Not interested in King myself anymore. His release fee is £900k, Bahebeck I'll look up when I'm on the laptop and post both properly.
Trebles, I have Ibrahim Afellay available, would take £15m for him.

No I quite like my team now, so I am just going to stick. I have one more TP to make and then that's it.

Maybe if everyone wants it, depends on the general mood I suppose. We are only in season 2 I suppose
Anyway, tactics up, other stuff done and now I'm off. Good luck in our game

Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage page XX
I think we should reset squads at the end of Season 3.
Every 3 seasons in fact, then start again with the same rules (£15M limit on players, 2 star players). If you end up in the Premier League you stay in the Premier League, if you end up in the Championship you stay in the Championship, just with different squads.

Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage page XX
I would say have another season and then assess it. You will find that things will pick up a lot at the end of this season and the next one. This is due to the RL season starting and players ratings changing.
For instance, Kagawa might become the new Veron. Torres and Carroll may score a shed load and other "unknown" players may become huge hits.
So, the teams transfer dealings will increase.

I wouldn't mind restarting at the end of season 3. Means I can go for an exclusively Norwich squad with two HUGE names in there

Like the removal of transfer limits in season 3 if we were definitely starting afresh in season 4. Twist, the last Furious League didn't even to the end of season 2 as people got bored and transfers dried up. This would keep it fresh.
