I'd be happy to do it Olly OK Quite like the challenge of getting them away from the drop zone, even though I need to do that with Villa Laugh Would i able to dip into the transfer market while in charge of Soton, or just let things stay as they are...?

If cherrie decideds he can no longer do it, I don't mind taking over both teams until a new manager can be found then they can have the choice of which team they want!

Yeah you can dip into the transfer market Enigma. Just keep track of all you have done etc on the Saints page, so if we get a new guy the whole thing can be updated. Or you could just make an interim page, whatever you want

He seems like a decent player. Not watched any football in Italy for a while now so can only go on what you guys are saying... but if he can get into the Uruguay team he must be decent

Might have to run it by with Cherries to see if I can make any changes to the current sqaud if he's online this week. Might have to do with all you kind managers helping me out here!

He's very decent, how on earth Southampton are possibly getting him in RL amazes me, still think Liverpool will nip in and steal him.

Yeah the deal with Ramirez seems to have hit a snag me thinks. Apparantly player and club have agreed a deal, but Saints and Bologna haven't and because the player and club have agreed a deal, Bologna are using that to get more cash out of Saints

I've pm'ed Cherrie about Southampton, and have offered to co-run the team with him for the rest of the season. I'm hoping to here from him very soon and will make a announcement when I hear anything from him.

Just a bit of an update for you guys.

I'll be co-running Southampton with cherries for the rest of the season now. I'll be posting my own squad page later this afternoon and will be looking to make a few deals thumbsup

2. Would you like a 500k incentive for predicting results?

In regards to this question, I noticed hero commenting on the amount of people voting on games. Maybe there could be sanctions for people who don't (extra injury)

Also, if it's possible, move the tactic submission forward to wednesday/Thursday. so there is more time for votes to be sent. I know I've been really busy over the past few weekends and finding it hard to find time to sit down and vote.

I suppose we could move the tactics submission forward to Thursday night, but not Wednesday.

I think the extra injury might be the way to go actually, now I think about it more.

Also has anyone seen Punting around? On here or other sites we shall not name?

That's a bit like my offer for Cazorla that was turned down only for Nando to swoop him and get him.

Arsenal
On 7 August 2012, it was officially announced that Cazorla had signed a long-term deal with Arsenal in the Premier League, for a fee reported to be in the region of £15 million

The article said the following:

Arsene Wenger expects to complete the club record £15million transfer of Santi Cazorla by Tuesday.

Though Malaga are holding out for £20m, Arsenal hope a debt deadline imposed on the financially-stricken Spanish club will seal the deal.

So Malaga wanted £20m, but due to their debt had to take less than they wanted.
A bit like Atletico Madrid people could say?

Regarding Adebayor it's the wage thats the issue, not the fee. From what I've read City would let him go for zilch to offload him off their books but Spurs can't break their wage cap.

I'm still undecided but as I say we can only use the information as it stands.

Anyone wish to purchase John Guidetti off me?
Already he's scored a couple of goals in the two games he's played for me, in real life he scored over 40 last season so would be a great addition to a team mid or lower in the league that's looking for a striker they'd be unable to attain in foreign bids.
Willing to let him go for the price I paid which is 8m.

Hero, could you possibly hang fire on selling Heitinga, I'm weighing up buying him for Aston Villa, all depends if I can raise the funds for him and we can work out some kind of deal, when are you likely posting your tactics so I can try and put together some kind of deal..?

I'd play higuain over torres atm could change ovr the season though.

I'd have mata and di maria on the wings if ypu want to be more defensive in the 433. but i reckon you'd be better off having carrick/essien degending, with marin left, di maria right and mata central in a 4231
