Announcements

Important End of Season information -- please read

STAR PLAYER BIDS ARE OPEN

Star Player bids will commence Wednesday (15th), and run to Friday (17th) at midnight, when bidding is closed. Who got who will be posted on Saturday all being well - and assuming it can't be done earlier. If you miss out initially, there will be a second round bidding process and you may make another bid on a player. All bids will be sealed and PM'd to Hero and sodhat. It should be made clear that you cannot make a big bid on a Star Player, and then not have the cash all at once. All money must be paid immediately, or you miss out. We aren't doing IOU's on it, and that applies to everyone.

To qualify for the second round you must have submitted a first round bid - you can't just wait and see what's left. If there are exceptional circumstances as to why you missed the deadline you may appeal to the runners, but these circumstances absolutely do not include "I was playing Ultimate Team for 4 days with the curtains closed."

Sign up now for the Euro Division Telegraph Fantasy Football League!

Bull I'd keep Lamela, better than Eriksen and I reckon will have a barnstorming season.

I hope Gregers accepts for Stekelenburg because I just had a call from the club making an offer for him via lawyers and they've changed their bid Whistle

Thierry Henry - Sold by Arsenal with £5.6m profit
Samir Nasri - Sold by Arsenal with £6.2m profit
Gael Clichy - Sold by Arsenal with £6.75m profit
Patrick Vieira - Sold by Arsenal with £10.2m profit
Kolo Toure - Sold by Arsenal with £15.85m profit
Emmanuel Adebayor - Sold by Arsenal with £18m profit
Marc Overmars - Sold by Arsenal with £18m profit
Nicolas Anelka - Sold by Arsenal with £22.5m profit
Cesc Fabregas - Sold by Arsenal with £32.75m profit

Add to that Robin Van Persie being sold with £20m profit, it's easy to see why Arsenal have such good accounts. It's not because of being "well run", it's because they are a selling club.

£24m for a player with a year left on his deal is good business for me. They lose a class act, but they look in good shape still. No point keeping him or losing him on the cheap.

It's a risk but if we can get one fantastic season out of him (like last year) I'll be ok with it. It's the same with Falcao Berbatov; he was the main man the last time we won the league with 20 with his goals against small teams.

Surely Bull's star player bid shouldn't be allowed if he doesn't have the cash? He is bidding with money he doesn't have, we are teaching him the wrong moral values, he will be in debt poor kid

He is very talented, and an heir to Totti in Rome, according to Totti himself.

Clichy can go but it would have to be a massive offer. I'd want to improve my first XI somewhere else too.

Can we sign players sold in foreign offers yet?

Laugh

Allow me to throw the cat among the pigeons here.

I signed 2 tp's this week. 1 of which was Adam Maher of AZ, who I couldn't see in the league. I have now seen he is in fact available as a free agent in releases.

Would this mean that my "tp" for Maher wasn't a tp after all, and my confirmed tp for Lamela should stand?

Geniune appeal for opinions here.

I didn't see him there, but that is the crux of my issue. If he is in releases I can't have used a TP for him, and thus my second TP for Lamela wasn't void.

Messi as second striker. Ronnie as left or right wing but with license to roam where he wants

Looking at values on tm there would once have been a time that Lampard would have been unavailable given the current rules of this league!
