He's electric ball in hand but not a great scrummie, he's like a better version of Simpson really

Liked Simpson this season, been a big reason why Wasps have been so dangerous, but agree and see the dangers that that type of scrummy brings.
Back to the thinking board.
Isn't Sarel Pretorious back in SA S15 this year? He was the surprise bolter from 2 seasons ago.

He'll never play for SA though Bathite, too off the cuff.

True - Although Goosen signals quite a change in mindset and the result was positive.
Cook has been impressive for us as well, dictates play well for such a youngster

Yes mate, all fixtures, but don't need detailed explanations for Euro games, scores are just fine for your £3m bonus

Anything in the French squad to discuss?
Couple of newbies that I've been impressed with and keeping an eye on have been included; Machenud, Fickou, Gunther, Toulon 2nd row, can't remember name.
Michalak gets a recall as well, quite tempted to go for him, with 9/10 flexibility. Yachvili injured or dropped and likewise, Rougerie left out.

Michalak is 30 now though, bit of a risk. Fickou looks like a real talent, was thinking he might be worth the risk even at such an early stage

Re: Fantasy Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
Was saying it on the other game but I think the squad could be a lot stronger some funny decisions in there for me. 6 props and 4 of them are LHs being the bigest to me. Good to see him giving some youngsters a chance but theres alot more deserving players then the like of Martin, Ben Arous, Lauret and Vahaamahina (sp) for me. Don't think PSA is doing too great of a job so far

People still not really rating Clerc on here? Seemed to remember that was the case on the old game, despite his incredible record. Pretty awesome little player I think.

Haven't seen much of Laurent and Vahaa, been watching Toulouse and Toulon mostly, with a bit of Racing now that Barks is there!

Re: Fantasy Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
Rougerie is dropped because of form. Yach & Medard are injured. Think Harri is injured at the moment as well but hasn't been playing too well when fit either. Baracella dropped on form as well.
Lauret is a poor player at international level for me. Nyanaga and Lapandry much more deserving. Vahaa isn't guranteed first choice at club level theres 4/5 locks going well at Top 14 I'd have ahead of him.
I'm watching Fickou closely but hes a bit early for the league yet I think. Not sure he will get any gametime think its more a call up to give him the experience of being around the squad.
Gunther has the makings of a very good player. Love to sign him up on the other league but theres 3/4 managers interested with much bigger budgets then me

Re: Fantasy Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
I considered Michalek for my last foreign signing. Great versatility could do a job at 9/10/12. But scrumhalf was one of my main areas for strengthening and Smith hit such a rich vein of form.
I like Clerc. Theres probably better still out there quality wise but hes a fantastic finisher while most of the better options available will be gone for 6/7 games at the start of every season!

Was a typical Lancaster interview fella , down to earth and honest.
Talked about his 10s as if Freddie Burns is set to start the Fiji game as a reward for his form.
We're deffo moving forward with him in charge.

Leicester line out looking pretty average here
I know I'm a back but I've never understood why someone can't throw the ball in straight? It's just repitition of a very simple core skill. Unforgivable

Interesting dilemma for France with Hari, Dus out injured and Nyanga not in the squad.
Big chance for Ouedrago and Gunther to impress.
On another note, what happened to Lakafia? I thought he was the next best thing about 18 months ago, but it's gone silent - is he injured?

Re: Fantasy Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
You'll get a small cash reward for him and will have to release him. SJE or Pooly will give you a price. I'd guess 4m maybe? Not sure though
Still have no idea who I'm going for in foreigns! Might just wait for all you lot to make your moves first and avoid being priced out
