Agree with you Pete, don't think Waldroum should be picked for England - he wasn't good enough for NZ so why should he play for England. Its the same with Botha and I dont think we should ever have capped Flutey or Hape.

commentator on T14 final says Caucau has been very good this season.
has he been back to his best? don't get to see that much of the top 14

No he's been pretty average. Kind of comes and goes in games, makes loads of daft errors nut has showed the odd glimpse of magic.
He's still too fat really.

Goode can play 10 and 12 too, though completely untested at Test level, he does seem to have that touch of class about him though.
Steven if you visit www.rugbydump.com then they always have clips of him. He's been playing really well, got two tries in the semi-final of the Top14, including a 60metre sprint. He's still a tubby gi t but I doubt there is a more naturally gifted rugby player in Europe than him.
Could have been one of the all time greats.

Pooly, wouldnt say he's been average, has played well in the games he's had and hasnt let Toulouse down, apart from when he did his famous rooly pooly dive over the line and forgot to take the ball with him. He's just very fat.

Did you miss Cau Cau dropping the ball under his own sticks in the same game Chris? He's been average, I watch more T14 than other rugby and Toulouse are my fav team.
Goode is no 10/12 Int class, not even Prem class yet. Armitage is tested at centre and wing and also a damn good Int FB.

Armitage has turned into a liability with his temper - how many games has he been banned for this season? One mistake in a world cup and we are an important back down.
Still a blo ody good player, just not sure he has a very good temperament.

When was his last good game!? For me brown has moved ahead prefer Goode though! Never thought I would praise brown but he has worked hard at his weaknesses to be commended

Foden
(BIG GAP)
Goode
Brown
Armitage

Goode
Brown

I don't doubt they're in better form but Cueto can do a good job at FB and Armitage can cover other positions. Brown or Goode won't go I don't think

Foden is a very good player, but it's not that big a gap from him down to the others Chris. I'd be happy with any one of Foden, Armitage, Goode or Brown in the England team at 15.

Think he will need to prove himself again in at least one of the remaining warm up games for England, but its vital to have a player who can cover a few positions during the WC.
Shame Tait is injured would have liked to have seen him get another chance.

For me there's a massive gap. Foden a class above the rest but Armitage the next best. after that iId take Cueto

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
If anyone is interested here is a short 4 minute clip of the place I'm making a film on. Getting closer to finishing it all now.
Armitage is the best second fullback when on form, no doubt about it, but his temper is a real concern. At international level I think this will be targeted quite a lot, which levels the playing field.
Brown has come on leaps and bounds this season, he's a solid option but doesnt have the attacking spark needed, been impressed with Goode - he does seem like he could eventually be moved to the 12 shirt though, very clever rugby player

Cheers Prop, am very tempted to do something similar with the Great Barrier Reef - would love to go out there and get some filming done! Just looking to see whether we have discovered some new species now or not.
SBW is some athelete, be interesting to see what happens when he comes up against a proper boxer instead of 43 year olds though.

Prop it is so worth it - enjoyed every second in South America, although having guns pointed at us was pretty hairy! I had about $20,000 on me and around $70,000 of equipment on me at the time and if I'd have been caught I'd still be in a Venezuelan prison now - fortunately I was wearing bright pink and red board shorts, a bright yellow top and a cap with goldfish on it, so managed to slip through the armed guard as a tourist.

Guys
With regards to the summer tournament i think we should actually all just play each other once instead of having groups then finals.
So i'm going to move forward with that idea then everyone is playing every week and teams are gelling better

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Due to some squad changes planned these are some players that I am looking to get rid of on the cheap - with the exception of Dave Wilson and Ryan Kankowski. Fair few English there - I'm particularly looking for a FB, WG, HK and 2nd Rower.
PR Dave Wilson (E) (1 or 3)
LK James Phillips (E)
FL Apolosi Satala (Fiji)
N8 Ryan Kankowski (South Africa)
N8 Luke Watson (South Africa)
SH Charlie Davies (E)
CE Shane Geraghty (E)
CE Luke Eves (E)
CE Ben Jacobs (Australia)
WG Tom Arscott (E)
FB/FH Christian Lewis-Pratt (E)

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Pooly I really think you should drop it mate, its really wrong to accuse someone of cheating when they didn't - if you want to continue to bring others into it then fine, but I know I didnt cheat at all, there is absolutely no reason to cheat etc and you've called me it 3-4 times now when I have done nothing wrong.
I'm not going to comment on it anymore, get others involved - so just take Ben Gulliver in your squad. But in future I would really look at when other players make bids for Championship players, as no one trumped my bid for him within a 24 hour period he was a Saints player.
You've made your point, he's out of my squad - now please do not go round calling me a cheat again, it really is quite unfair mate

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Hang on guys i'm gonna have to lay down the law here and tell you both to kiss and make up.
Over the past 2 seasons you have both been competitive managers in the league and it would be a shame to lose either of you.
This is a good solid league which has stayed strong and not gone down the route of other leagues with people accusing each other of cheating. The last thing i want to long onto is something like this.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership season 4
Ok Chris, no hard feelings.
- You need to confirm players after the 24hr period
- you can't then just then add them after somebody else bids and reminds you forgot to put them in your squad
The second part could be deemed as cheating in future cases!!! Lol

It's interesting for me seeing how people rate their own players. I know we all probably overate our own, but I have seen some really unrealistic valuations recently, it makes me laugh.
