Elsom is trading on reputation right now, he has been gash since returning to Oz. If he does not start the Tri Nations well Deans will have to drop him as Higginbotham has been fantastic this year.

Elsom hasn't been gash Pete, every time he builds up a bit of steam and puts in some good performances he gets injured for 3-4 weeks and has to start again. He's much better suited to European rugby, when he was playing for Leinster I thought he was the best player in the world.

He'll be shoe in to captain the Aussies, everyone loves him out there!
