I don't think AJ Smith is capable of firing Norv Turner

Steelers will fly direct to Newark on Sunday rather than the day before as there hotel doesn't have any power.
Wonder what happens if they get delayed?

In the circumstances I imagine the NFL would delay the game.

If the Chiefs are gonna have a chance they have to stop playing man to man on Gates. That's just silly play calling

Time for the reset button in KC. Pioli made 3 key mistakes, Trading for Cassel, hiring hiring Todd Haley and hiring Romeo Crennel

Don't say such things, SD defense got me 29 points last night thanks to the issues in Kansas.Olly wrote:Oh Kansas, Kansas, Kansas. It's not that difficult. Just stop turning the ball over!

After Alex Smith's 18/19 passing left him one completion short of the NFL accuracy record last week, Phillip Rivers goesa cushty 19/20 on Thursday Night Football... shame one of the completed passes was to Kansas City...

What are people's thoughts on Ryan Tannehill? I thought he was gonna be really bad but he is actually playing well despite what the stats say

Tannehill has arguably the best rookie QB, when you consider what he has to work with (i.e. nothing). Making some great plays and helping his team win. He has been super.

Personally I think they have a great shot at a wildcard this year. Especially if Bush stays healthy

Did some terrible things in week one whilst I was watching, but credit to the guy... he came back from that and has played well. Not spectacular but he's ahead of the curve that most analysts set for him this year.

Wanted Weeden to throw for Gordon/Benjamin in the endzone there, were already within Dawson's range, unless something goes wrong here 14-9 to the Ravens at the half.

Re: Week 9 discussion thread
Love that. Commentator on Redskins game says "I don't think the ground helped him make that catch", cut to replay of receiver holding either end of the ball as it bounces off the ground and in to his grip, other commentator says "I agree with you" in the most serious voice ever. Don't know if he is genuinely making fun of his colleague or is just as stupid.
Re: Week 9 discussion thread
Weeden almost picked off by Reed, throws a pick to Williams on the next play. The first one he shouldn't have thrown, Josh Gordon was wide open in the middle of the field for probably a 10 yard pick up, instead Weeden tries to throw down field where he has 3 receivers up against 5 DBs, Reed to be honest really should have picked it off. Then he throws it behind Jordan Cameron who wasn't even looking for the ball, thanks to the pick return start with 39 yards to go to the end zone.

I think we can safely say that Flacco is not an elite QB.

The TNF game is Colts at Jags?
Are they trying to make the worst schedule of all time?

Every team has to be on TNF once I think. At least we have Luck in this game.

Better options than those 2 in the offseason I imagine. Jags suck and Colts were the worst team.

Re: Week 9 discussion thread
TNF is garbage. Football is for Sunday and Monday only. Although the away team on TNF gets better prep than the Steelers this week.
Anyone familiar with the "Redskins Rule"? If the Redskins win Obama will get re-elected on Tuesday. As it stands Mitt Romney will be president.

2 INT's for Peyton in Cincy. Broncos lose that they go 4-4 and tied with San Diego and maybe even Oakland

Home teams have a ridic record on TNF beyond just being at home obviously.

Titans can't even bat down balls properly today. If they were more than my 2nd team I'd be upset right now.
