The RWC pool draws - live
THE POOL ALLOCATION DRAW WILL BE STREAMED LIVE ON RUGBYWORLDCUP.COM FROM 14:55 UK TIME ON 3 DECEMBER (15:55 CET, 16:55 (South Africa), 11:55 (Argentina), 01:55 4 December (NSW Australia), 03:55 4 December (New Zealand, Fiji), 04:55 4 December (Samoa)
Featuring Boris Johnson amongst the glitterati so it's anyone's guess what sort of a dick he'll make of himself.
(note to IRB: the RWC was granted to England, not London).
p.s. good call not inviting Cameron though.
I can't find any mention of the event on the ITV* schedules which as UK host broadcaster is disappointing up to the point when one realises that that font of rugby wisdom, Steve Rider will not be anchoring the event.

Off topic but my BoJo story:
Youngest daughter was head of her junior school's student council last year and went to visit the London Assembly and meet Johnson.
"hello little girl, aren't you a pretty little thing" says Johnson
"Yes" says my not lacking in confidence daughter "but I am clever as well" (see)
"Ha, ha yes you are. Do you know what I do?"
"You are the Mayor" says daughter 2 "but my daddy says you are a muppet" (oops)
"Oh" he says "But Kermit is clever and brave"
"Kermit is green" she says "You are more like Miss Piggy!!"
Needless to say the head teacher was mortified.

Well hopefully by then we will have learnt to beat Australia while keeping up a good record against Ireland .
Would like to avoid Samoa and NZ (just to keep the injuries and losses down). But will take any of the others.

I just hope that Argentina will play in the New Zealand group, so we avoid them in the quarterfinals.

South Africa, England, Italy.
Australia, Argentina, Wales ("The Group of Death").
France, Samoa, Scotland (France fail to qualify).

Is it a blind draw once the group leader is announced i.e the seeded sides then just a case of luck .Or is it open tp o politically based chicanery, for example Nz have never lost at the Group stage.By 2015 even after saturday would you bet against them being unbeaten in the Groups again?

In both RWCs where england played pool matches at twickenham - they have faced NZ in the first match. Somehow I just feel that will happen again.

Will be interesting to see what happens with the scheduling if England draw Wales in their group. I think I read that Wales were to play their group games in Cardiff but don't think England would be too happy playing 'away' whilst hosting.

Although some of the games will be in Cardiff I had read that Wales wouldn't be playing there. I don't think it's been sorted yet. Hopefully Samoa will play some games in Leicester.

AUSSIES respecting England & Wales:
"The Wallabies will be hoping to avoid rising England and faltering Six Nations champions Wales when the 2015 Rugby World Cup draw is held early Tuesday morning (AEDT).
Australia pulled off grinding and somewhat fortunate wins over the English and Welsh in the past three weeks – to guarantee a top pool seeding – but want neither nation drawn alongside them in three years time."
