The RWC pool draws - live
First topic message reminder :
THE POOL ALLOCATION DRAW WILL BE STREAMED LIVE ON RUGBYWORLDCUP.COM FROM 14:55 UK TIME ON 3 DECEMBER (15:55 CET, 16:55 (South Africa), 11:55 (Argentina), 01:55 4 December (NSW Australia), 03:55 4 December (New Zealand, Fiji), 04:55 4 December (Samoa)
Featuring Boris Johnson amongst the glitterati so it's anyone's guess what sort of a dick he'll make of himself.
(note to IRB: the RWC was granted to England, not London).
p.s. good call not inviting Cameron though.
I can't find any mention of the event on the ITV* schedules which as UK host broadcaster is disappointing up to the point when one realises that that font of rugby wisdom, Steve Rider will not be anchoring the event.

Re: The RWC pool draws - live
Pools are a waste of time for the ABs and I think we should approach them differently.
Stats (I thought it was good but this is ridiculous):
Since 1987:
Played 24, won 24
points scored: 1514
points aginst: 287
at an 'average' score of 63- 12
and an average of 9 tries to one per match.
19 of the 24 were 40 points or more.
Suggests that we enter every quarter final with no more than a half a training run. In the all important 3 weeks required to build momentum for the knockouts we get to play against the very worst sides since the previous world cup.
And not only that, we dont even get the best of those sides (Scotland for e.g.)
No wonder were an easy target for one offs.

Unfortunately for us they're all easy for the All Blacks

So the answer is to meet that challenge. As an England fan I have always expected my team to play NZ, or anyone else, with the belief that we can win. Sometimes we have had a 'loser' mentality, and I do not buy into a 'decent defeat' mentality.
Winning is how you earn respect.
