Half of the teams are. It's the most pointless event in the NFL. Players picked are suddenly "injured" or simply don't want to go.
It's crap

But it didn't used to be so much, when it was played after the Super Bowl.
Really think they need to either move it back or scrap it.

Probably time to scrap it and just have an All-Pro team announced and leave it at that. What's the point in sending a guy who was like the 18th alternate QB??? It devalues it further than it already is. Pointless.

Jets going to "explore" trade options for Darrelle Revis.
Whilst they would be losing a great player (arguably the best in football when fit), they would gain a heck of a lot in draft space and picks/players.
Pretty much every team in the league would/should make a run at him

Gore fined $10,500 for a "Socks Violation" and Brady fined $10,000 for kicking Ed Reed.
Apparently Reed isn't going to be retiring after the Super Bowl.

It is ridiculous, how far can the trademark go? Surely he can only control the use of that word? The thing I read on it said he had allowed "official" T-shirts to be made with it on with a percentage of profits going to some camp for kids with heart problems.

I feel as though Manti Teo will be a Brown.
I mean its the Browns and Michael Lombardi, so they'll draft a bust, might as well be interesting.

Probably because his scheme requires the front 4 to get pressure, which the Saints couldn't. Personnel was woeful, couldn't cover or rush the passer.

Miami, Cincinnati, Cleveland and Tampa Bay has plenty of cap space though the Dolphins have extra picks too.Olly wrote:Jets going to "explore" trade options for Darrelle Revis.

The 49ers have the most picks plus could send Alex Smith in the opposite direction.

Miami was my first thought too, and then maybe the Pats if Talib asks for too much. He would look good in red and gold though. Mikey, can u confirm culliver and ngata for your second, hightower and lloyd mate. I've backed down and taken your earlier offer I deemed unfair so I guess you win that one. Giving up culliver will come back to bite me

I did see a report suggesting Revis wanted to stay in New York/ the North-Eastern corner so the Patriots would be interesting.
I will sort FAF trades out soon.

I think he asks way too much for most contending teams, will need a smaller ego if he wants to win.
Great mikey, I won't be on until tomorrow night it looks like but the trade is confirmed on my end so just put it in the confirmed section when u are ready.
Imagine if Philly released Nnamdi and got Revis, that would be fun

Revis? On a team filled with egos hes the relatively quiet one.
Anyway he'd cost a 1st plus change, would demand franchise QB money, and is coming off a knee injury. Also costs the Jets 9m vs the cap to trade him.

Also there is more chance of Bill Belichick doing a pole dance than there is the Jets trading to New England if they were going to

Spags hardly ever blitzed, that was his problem. His system requires a lot of pressure from the front four which consisted of Will Smith and Sedrick Ellis. Ouch.

Like it's a terrible stupid decision that will be putting the defense back a few years instead of only being roughly 1 or 2 pieces away.

Re: Ongoing NFL discussion thread
Welllllllllll, there are the pieces on the DL to run it, Taylor at NT, Rubin at DE, and there are guys projected to go top 5 that are more effective as a 3-4 OLB than 4-3 DE I guess.

Re: Ongoing NFL discussion thread
Well don't think Rubin has played at DE before, have a feeling he may go back to being the NT and Taylor to DE, still though need another DE and OLB and MLB plus then FS and CB. Either way I don't like the move but hope he can prove me wrong.GSC wrote:Welllllllllll, there are the pieces on the DL to run it, Taylor at NT, Rubin at DE, and there are guys projected to go top 5 that are more effective as a 3-4 OLB than 4-3 DE I guess.
