First topic message reminder :
Carry on your bickering here.
I was going to summarise the previous thread, but going through a thousand posts and ultimately it ends on goats, sheep on your 18th brithday that hangs around longer than strippers doesn't say much for the rest of the content.
Enjoy.

Gotta be honest- he is class. I mean world class.!
BUT given your not a big nation and all. and the fact that more of our kids are playing footy. Bale is a big name in the Pl and the world , its gonna hurt your rugby participation surely!- your kids are going to want to emulate this lad!
Bale aint the problem its Giggs, people wanna emulate him on and off the park

You see a lot of threads started, obsessing about England and the English. Not sure it is even about rugby at times.

Lets be honest there isn't too many English people who like Ashton (as a person or player) so it’s hardly a topic to create a WUM about, very strange behaviour.

That is comedy gold.viewtothegym wrote:The mods should clean up the off topic guys or ban them for a day or two, it seems like the English get into a frenzy and try their best to derail any thread that is far to close to the truth and they just can't hack it.Morgannwg wrote:Madge's continual, off-topic drivel continued and the mods best course of action was to remove it. Honestly, I can't believe these English sometimes. Disagree with England being the best team in the world by post the truth and all they do is attack you and bring Wales into the thread. Reality checks please.
Just like the old 606 i had loads of articles and comments removed ,not one was personal or insulting just talking about rugby and hard facts, but some cry baby would get it pulled.
On the old 606 and on here i have never run to the mods, i have been called all sorts even bestiality jokes thrown the way of the Welsh and the comments still stand to this day,
you write an article about a players obvious lack of skill in defense and it gets pulled????

Nothing wrong with the system, but when it takes me half an hour to clear up a thread and in the process I have to remove twenty posts all relatd to immature posturing, then open the thread and it immediately runs the same course, there is little chance it will get back on topic.Morgannwg wrote:It sure did. Hence the removing of the thread.
The "system" can only be what the posters make of it.

Ha, this is ridiculous.
The new tactic of 'making a WUMMING comment and then attmepting to blame the decline of the thread on those who the comment was made against' is just embarrassing.

Hersh, you surprise me. Who'd have thought you'd be a headliner reader only. What Davies says is pretty fair. Care to explain how he's wrong?

But I'm not Hersh!
How many more times?
As for the Question I'm more annoyed with the BBC for their lame attempts to wind up supporters with their silly headlines.
Why can't the BBC make the most of having the Rights to the 6 nations and give us true fans some decent stories rather than the usual tripe like we see on here.

Actually VictorU3 you're right. Manu is overweight!
Given that he's a six footer that means he should be 188 pounds max - but apparently he's 242 pounds - God, what a porker. Then again we must take into consideration his BMI.....
Oh, you were joking!

To be fair Davis is an old fart in terms of when he was playing the game it’s moved on since then; SJ and all other international coaches are only as good as their backroom team.
To be honest I still think the article is a poor attempt to wind up fans rather than have a serious point, Jiffy is just a joke these days much like the BBC.

Wales will be fired up for England on the last day of the 6N regardless of whether they beat Scotland or not.
Most teams bounce back after losses determined to "make amends" and then play well.
However, even though i support England i would like Scotland to beat Wales.
Why?
Because i think Wales are a confidence team. I want their burgeoning confidence to be dented if not destroyed.
Come on Scotland !!!

Re: 2013 version 2.0 Wales vs England bickering thread.
You know something Triangulation you're perfectly correct - we ARE a confidence team. I looked back to my thoughts for the outcome of this year's 6N, posted on another thread and apart from the first game hiccup, it is now moving in the direction I anticipated. This is what I wrote:
"So it's Wales again for me.
I know, I know, "How the hell can you say that after seven straight defeats" - I can can virtually hear you all thinking it, but it's all about momentum see. Like last year, we scuffed past Ireland in the first game and this time we start with them at home so there's even more chance of us doing it again. Then on to France, the sheer relief of winning again will carry us to glory and so the momentum builds. Italy away, no disrespect like, but Italy surely won't stand in our way - not when we're on a roll again. Scotland, mmmm, in the scheme of things a nail-biter - I HATE us being the favourites - in anything, but we will prevail! Then of course, the Triple Crown and the Grand Slam once again, because by this time England wouldn't stand a chance against us at the Millennium - momentum you see!
Then again, we could lose against Ireland.... "
As I said, the first game I got wrong, but our second half performance was what we took to Paris. Now we're at the Scotland game and my thoughts are exactly the same as they were. If we get past Scotland then I think we will also see off England, not unfortunately for the triple crown and Grand Slam as I'd hoped but for the Championship maybe. If we don't, then who knows, but I'll stick with Scotland being the REAL nail-biter.

It would be nice if Scotland can pull off a win at home then, wouldn't it?
That will give them a much better standing than last year's Six Nations.

If Scotland absolutely tonk Wales it could be 99 all over again, England looking for an away, cough cough, win to take the gs, losing in the last minute to see the jocks pick up the tourament. Thinking about it, I'm off to the vale to food poison the welsh squad to make it possible.

Sometimes Biltong I get the impression you don't really understand northern hemisphere rugby at all - or are you embarking on a WUM?
For any of Scotland's opposition to acknowledge it would be 'nice' for them to win, just to make their standing look better would be heresy! No, the England supporters on here, specifically Triangulation and VictorU3 who have recently stated they want Scotland to win is definitely not because they want Scotland to feel better about themselves. They want to see Scotland beat the stuffing out of Wales to soften us up for next week's game against England.
It's for the same reason I want to see England beat Italy (narrowly) - not because I have anything against Italy or because I have a sneeky admiration for England (God forbid) but because I want England to arrive at the Millennium Stadium feeling over-confident and not like a wounded lion!
(Mind you, it would have been nice if England had lost all their previous games THEN I would have wanted Italy to win. )

"Send them homeward tae think agin!! "
Back to cardif with them!
ha ha
Look welshies if you do win you'll your momentum and your confidence and good on you BUT you seem to have forgotten......
you wont have as much momentum or (justified) confidence as us.
You'll just be doing well relative to your abject recent run.

Mate, I simply don't pay attention to the ins and outs of NH rugby, nor do I really care who is top over there.
I do enjoy a competitive tournament though, not only for who wins the thing, but also how the underdogs fare.
I will be putting my "vote and support" behind the Scots for this one.

McCaw says the same thing about the wallabies.
They're much more dangerous on a roll than as the wounder underdog bouncing back.
That is wales too. BTW that is not a criticism or a wum on a wum page but a genuine belief i have and i see welsh supporters agree with me.
