2013 version 2.0 Wales vs England bickering thread.
First topic message reminder :
Carry on your bickering here.
I was going to summarise the previous thread, but going through a thousand posts and ultimately it ends on goats, sheep on your 18th brithday that hangs around longer than strippers doesn't say much for the rest of the content.
Enjoy.

Only double standards if I am wrong.
Even Beefy has admitted I am right.
But sadly yes - officially I now count as blind

With Swansea winning the league cup and Cardiff looking likely contenders for promotion into the Premiership I can't see Wales ever really being serious contenders for the RWC as they simple don't have the strength in depth as it is within their squad, with Football growing ever stronger and attendances for domestic rugby already on its ass Rugby is dead in the water in Wales, as kids want to play football.
Looks like Wales will have to field more English born players (public schoolboy toffs) than ever before.

Lazy comeback Beefy!
I must be close to the mark with that one I guess, truth always hurts.
Only a cynical pessimist could turn Welsh football into a negative for rugby...try saying that in St mary's street on March 16th and see what repsonse you get, personally i find that sort of stupidity very very dull

Why?
Most predictions from outsiders saw England winning their 3 home games and maybe sneak a win away from home. This has almost been achieved and England are clear favourites for the title. So long as they beat Italy this will have been a very good championship for England. Should they then beat Wales it would be a fantastic one.
Probably because this is one of the most devalues six nations I have ever seen. A urine poor welsh team, and an unfancied (before the tournament) Scottish side are both looking decent and in with a chance of the title. The Franch have not played more than 30 mins out of a possible 120. So realistically if England are wanting to prove they are a decent side then anything less that a Grand Slam over a really poor bunch of teams would be a real let down.
Couldn't have put it better myself scarlet, at last a realistic Welshman. That's why even the boos of the Millenium will do nothing to prevent this far superior English side spanking the Welsh and claiming the GS Happydays

But if you listen to the Welsh, it isn't their team thats poor, its their management/coaching staff. I have some sympathy for this view, as its partly true, but basically, Wales have been over performing in fits and starts for years. Where they are now, is probably where they are in the big scheme of things - mediocre, but capable of good play on occasion.

Looks like someone just has it in for Jimpy, his following post has been reported (I assume that is what the red ! in a triangle thingy means).
Althought hte post that your talking about should have been reported, it goes totally against the point of this thread as it doesn't seem like a bicker/wum, and reads like a serious post Wales have a horrible habbit of being poor, then managing to play well, then managing to prove to people that is was not a fluke, and then going back to being poor. I am not too sure why we do it, whether it is attitude, or just bad luck/injuries/form/rain/whatever or if there is something mentally stopping us kicking on, but whatever it is we certainly seem to be in that sort of cycle, and to be fair if France were not so dire this year we probably would be talking about trying to finish above Italy on points difference as opposed to possible losing out on the title down to points difference.

With Mod hat off I'll make the observation that, while I've been spending the last 3 weeks relaxing in the civilised true heartland of rugby, the English and Welsh have literally regressed to debating who's got the smaller willies.

Using that logic then if you have a small hammer all you can drive in are tacks, so that would mean all football players only have tiny ones then as most of their wifes/gfs are size 0 or smaller

That just reminded me of one of Aesop's old Fables.
Banter walks into a pub full of Offensive Remarks:
"Don't get up lads, and I'm buying the drinks 'cause you lot won't be able to afford it", he says with a cheeky grin on his face.
A raw looking old Personally Offensive Remark looks over his shoulder. "Well if'n it ain't little cheeky chappie Banter, come to liven up the pub with his inoffensive put-downs. I don't know what drinks you'd be buying, mind you, as they don't serve milk in this pub. Run along sonny before we chew the bolikz off of ya"
"You're sitting on yours so long, Offensive, that I'd be tempted to sell you mine for a good price".
The Bartender laughs at the gentle barb.
"It wouldn't last a man's measure, mate, and would probably shoot blanks", growls Offensive. "A tin whistle, mate, that's what dangles between your legs. Plays a bragging tune but still yelps like a pup"
"Less of that" warns the bartender.
"Yeah", agrees Banter,"Less of the sh*t, Offensive. Just 'cause you can't walk to the toilet doesn't mean you have to drop your trousers in public. We all know what's down there, you speak out of it everytime you open your mouth"
The bartender chuckles to himself and pours a drink into a glass. "Come on in, Banter, the milk is on the house. And you," he adds, glowering at drunken Offensive, "you've been barred before and I'll do it again. Keep it clean or you're gone"
