Congratulations ENGLAND
I'd like to congratulate England and SL on winning this years 6 Nations. Irrespective of your outcome against Wales in Cardiff you will win the championship on points difference at the very least. The most consistent team thus far by a mile. I apppreciate if you don't win the Slam it will be a disappointment, nevertheless winning the championship is still an achievement and of course you still have a good chance of the Slam. This is no disrespect to Italy by the way but we have to face facts so well played

Cheers. Given England are arrogant, and Wales are lazy - you might as well concede the game now and save us hanging about next the next few weeks.

Re: Congratulations ENGLAND
Talking to my english mates after the winter league yesterday morning they all seemed to agree with me - I see no problem in that. Where England are at the moment; the championship might be pretty meaningless if they lose to Wales and I can understand that as Wales lost to England when going for a Slam when Howley was Captain and it was just hollow - Therefore, I know it's all to play for but a championship win is a win all the same.

Although there may be a hint of undertone in this, Ido agree with rubes...
Well done England, as long as you dont slip up against Italy, which is actualler harder to say than do now they dont have Parisse and one of their number 10s has had there '1 a year game' where they play like dan carter. Lancaster will have them drilled and a big score could be on the cards if the weather is decent.
Wales at home will be a sturdy test should we manage the win up in Scotland, that itself is going to be a 3-7 points swing either way imo. But, I dont hold too much hope we can stop the grandslam train, and thoroughly deserved it will be should it be acheived.
England have looked balanced (bar the back 3), clinical, determined and they've got into a habit of scoring at the right time, thats all you can ask as a fan.

HERSH naughtiness can still be viewed on BBC site if you are missing it.
But WUM Posters like ViewtoTheGym and GowerPower have been very quiet since England effectively won the Championship after first 3 games.
Even over on the 'bickering' thread it has turned unnecessarily pleasant.
But fair play, posters like Maesteg and Ruby have been decent and generous

Yes I've seen it. HERSH is actually worse on BBC now than he ever was here.
Maesteg and Ruby have always been tidy and any banter so to speak has always been in good humour.

Thats the same viewtothegym that can be seen on the referenced thread calling England supporters "bitches?" right?
The same Rubyguby who is still making deliberately provacative posts like this article in a desperate attempt to get one back on England by annoying the fans?
Wales arent sponsored by a Bitter anymore, just a man with one eye.

Re: Congratulations ENGLAND
Biscuit - Thankfully my knowledgable english fans down at the club are happy to accept another rugby man's congratualtions. We all know that England will be dissapointed if they lose on the 16th but that if it happens is for then. Having enjoyed 6 nations success of late it is always welcome and you should enjoy the spoils of that rather than remaining bitter about something. You're response is very strange - I can banter and argue with the best of them and take it on the chin if I have to, it's called maturity, you should try it

Well I won't congratulate you on the GrandSlam or even the Championship yet then...
But congratulations to yourselves and France for one heck of a game. Best game in probably two or three seasons (for me anyway) for the steam of warfare and passion coming from the players and crowd. England were at war..it wasn't a game it was the continuation of that eternal "100 year" war that's doing the business on Telly at the moment.
And it was enough in itelf as a game but to add Fofana's try to it................. just a classic day for what rugby UNION is - a great advertisement

And there was I thinking I was the only one who thought Joubert's performance was the worst case of homerism since..... oh yeh Joubert in the 2011 WCF, when I have it on good authority that after persistantly ignoring his assistants with regard to NZ infringements they basically said "you're on your own mate" Joubert is a disgrace and IMO refs games with politics firmly in mind. One of the people watching the game with me actually said that he would even out the penalty count by giving France penalties in unkickable positions, which is exactly what he did.
Not England's fault but he was very influential on the outcome of the game IMO

I don't think for one minute England didn't deserve to win that game. Clearly the better side. But for whatever reason, most likely human error, Joubert made a series of bad judgements throughout that game, and most of those bad judgements favoured England.
Barnes was ropey yesterday as well, but his odd decisions were split 50/50 in my view.
I don't mind Craig Joubert as a ref, in fact he and Nigel Owens in my view are the two top refs on the circuit now that Poite has gone a bit mad.

Why post more rubbish? Joubert must be the only ref ever to go from worlds best to worst in the space of a single game.

Fixed that fES.
I dunno, but I'm usually of the assumption that refs aren't biased, are closer to the action than the cameras are, and penalise a team for offences that materially affect the flow of the game; or for violent conduct.
Sometimes people only see what they want to.
