'Arry thinks 13 more points will be enough for QPR which would leave them with a final tally of 37 points. Surely that's still not enough?

A moth ago I'd have thought 37 points would have been enough but they all seem to be picking up points now. Sunderland will do well to reach that tally.

Sucker punch to QPR, a heavily deflected shot going in for Gibson. 1-0 Everton.

Argh, same old story for Liverpool. Some nice attacking football but just can't convert the chances.
Sturridge is unfortunately showing his true colours with a lot of selfish play, his movement is very good though.

Good first half for us. Frustrating them and when they do get in, they're not looking sharp.
Need to keep possession a little better and when we get the chance the delivery needs to be better

Question for the Liverpool fans:
We're looking at the same old story every week with Liverpool playing very good football but converting a tiny proportion of their chances. Do you need an out-and-out striker or is it something that can be sorted by a formation change?

QPR under all sorts of pressure at the start of the second half, Anichebe has missed a great chance and Cesar has had to make a splendid save. QPR still in it though...just.

Everton 2-0 QPR, probably all over now. Villa just gone 1 nil up against Fulham, that's another massive goal in the race for survival.

Liverpool hit the woodwork again. You just sense, after all Liverpool's dominance, Reading are going to get up the other and score with a minimum of fuss.

Pathetic officiating. Never a corner in the first place, then the linesman who is 30/40 yards away and looking through 10 bodies gives it when the ref who is looking straight at it 5 yards away doesnt give it.

I think GSC backed the Arse to get a CL spot when everybody dismissed their chances. I reckon he'll be on the money.

Re: 2012/13 Premier League discussion thread part 4
Rubbish.
It's been the same for 2 years now. Plenty of chances, none converted, normally average goalkeeper suddenly appears world class.
Sturridge was easily the most disappointing player today, plenty of decent movement but every time the final ball was lacking. Essentially he's an athlete not a footballer.
