Jalaj saxena, Rishi dhawan, baba aparajit, manan vohra, Ishwar Pandey, Parvez Rasool...the succeses of U-19 and FC have all been handed IPL contrcats.


Poor Kaif no takers for him....he has fallen a lot in the reckoning

Delhi will miss KP and Pune will miss Clarke.

if they don't win from here will be to some freak brilliance in semis or finals that may knock them out.

Another good spell from Mohit Sharma. 2-31 in his 4 overs. Shaun Marsh is still there, and David Hussey has joined him. KXIP are 54-2 in the 9th over.

Dhoni experimenting a bit and that proved costly for CSK, Raina was given the ball, and Marsh smashed him for 19. KXIP 106-3 in the 14th over. Marsh and Miller at the middle. Marsh is looking well set, and Miller has proved that he can hit them big.

3 wickets in that last over for Bravo, making him the leading wicket taker in the tournament. Hussey earlier had become the highest run getter although not by much. And the Super Kings have done at again. Win by 15 runs.

RCB have got off to a slowish start against PW. Gayle has a new opening partner today, Saurab Tiwary. 30 without loss after 6.

PW aren't playing Luke Wright, Angelo Mathews is back, though not as skipper. And Ajantha Mendis is also back, replacing Kane Richardson.

Muralitharan back for RCB, and KL Rahul is also getting a game.

No 175 from Gayle this time, Holds out to Bhuvneshwar Kumar of the parttimer T Suman. Just a run a ball 21 from the big man. Virat Kohli joins Tiwary, who hasn't really got going as yet.

Poor captaincy from Finch, Bhuvi not used for his full quota. Excellent 19th over from Bhuvneshwar, just 7 of it.

Ashok Dinda had 2-26 in 3 overs. The run tally just doubles at the end of his last over. And that takes AB de Villiers from 24 of 17 to a 23 ball 50!. Absolute genius at work, he swept Dinda from wide outside off for 6, and as if that wasn't enough, he reverse swept him for 4 as well!!. What a player!!.

And RCB finish with 187-3.

PW 98-4 after 13. Uthappa and Mathews at the crease.

70 of 32. Uthappa on 50. Its difficult, PW are not out of it as yet though.

Muralitharan's been smashed for 21 in that last over, and PW are right back in it.

Its that man Vinay again!. Just when PW had surged ahead with a massive over, he has taken out Mathews.

Vinay is bowled out, he has been the one bowler who has been holding things together in the death overs for them.

Kohli has no option but to bring his spinners on, Kartik it is at the moment on the firing line. Both Abhishek Nayar and Robin Uthappa are fine players of spin.

But Karthik gets Nayar to bring RCB back in it.

But Bhuvneshwar Kumar is a pretty decent option coming in at 8.

Huge blow for PW, Uthappa goes, Karthik again.

PW need another 28 of the last 2 overs. Mendis joins Bhuvi.

Now Bhuvneshwar holds out in the deep, RP Singh gets a wicket, and RCB are almost through.

PW need 24 of the last over, and Ashok Dinda is out in the middle!. Time for redemption?

RCB win by 17. Comfortable in the end. Fine innings from Uthappa, and Mathews also chipped in. But Vinay Kumar and Murali Kartik struck at crucial times to see RCB through.

AB de Villiers' onslaught on Dale Steyn is one of my most lasting memaries from IPL cricket, today he has added another chapter to that. What a genius!. The man of the match, absolutely rightly, take away the 24, he just deserves the award for those 6 balls at the end. Absolutely fabulous!.

Pune have now taken the role of " Spoiling some one else's party".
today they nearly spoilt RCB's show.

Uthappa looked sublime...., needed to last 2 more overs.
Pune's problem has been like Mumbai's......improper planning, bad utilization of resources, and lack of leadership.......except that they are twice as worse

KKR Pretty much in charge. Unfortunate for RR, even Yusuf Pathan has found runs today!.

KKR win by 8 wickets.

SH v DD today. Crucial for both sides. SH need to win to stay in the close battle for the playoffs, while a loss here could mean the end of DD's hopes.

DD, having oon the toss are batting against SH, and lost their openers without scoring much. Since then, David Warner and Unmukt Chand have been together, but its been a very slow first half of their innings. 43==-2 after 10.
