Scarlets V Glasgow
First topic message reminder :
Ciao Juve, I've been away and the boards seem quiet as regards the Warriors so let's get started. Very much a must win for the Scarlet Women. Although four points may not even put them fourth. Whereas even an LBP will keep the Warriors in the top three. As for team selection, assuming everyone is fit ( where's UIG when you need him?) I'D start with
1.Grant
2. WeePee
3.Angela, although Muzza made a huge difference when he came on against the former Irish giants at Scotstoun.
4. Big Al
5. Swinson who seems to be betting better all the time
6. Bluto if we want to attack them from the off Harley if we want to take the sting out of them and then bring on Bluto
7. Barclay wears the jersey till he leaves just so we can appreciate him
8. Wilson
9. Niko/Henry same logic as 6
10. got to start with Rhurarb after Munster 51
11. DTH
12. Hornee furra Linee
13. Dunbar
14. NoMaits
15 Lion in Waiting
Murchie, Schlong and the Messiah can all feel hard done by OR could all play. If we come close to replicating the second 40 against Munster 51 then we will pocket 5 pts. If we reproduce the first 40 it could be a long, frustrating night.

Clancy appears to have decided scarlet will win - loads of daft decisions already and I am not usually one to criticise refs

Excellent ruck inspecting by kellock to allow the try there.

That was not a penalty the defender was not supporting his own weight.

Scott shows again why he still isn't international standard.

Agreed.
Glasgow needs to bring Matawalu, i don't see what Pyrgos adds to the team.

Re: Scarlets V Glasgow
Scarlets really putting in a good performance
Owen Williams smashes the opposition 8 and Scott Williams is immediately up on the kicker.
The international returning seems to have boosted the Scarlets back to their early season form.
Good drop goal from a poor pass - excellent decision making

Assuming that you're scottish then that's not wholly true, because the fans on this forum criticise refs often.

Should have been a yellow any time, ridiculous. He may be kicking his goals so far but I'd have Jackson subbed, he's having a stinker.

I do not usually critise refs. Find one poost where I ave but the early decisions went against glasgow for sure and wrongly. should be a Scarlet in the bin for that cynical block.

Scarlets still dominating the scrums, Glasgow really needs Cusack backs in for the Ospreys game.

I can only imagine that when he does find it, it'll be a Glasgow player he'll send to the stands...
Re: Scarlets V Glasgow
gotta get Weir and Matawalu on in 2nd half. Another score from Scarlets and Glasgow will be toast!
Scarlets were looking good with ball through the hands, don't know why they're suddenly going for the pick and drives in the 2nd quarter. Give it to that nippy Scarlets 12 and things will happen.

Weir, Matawalu and Swinson on now please, only way we can get back in this game.
What is going on with Jackson, will he ever show the required consistency to be a professional standard player?

Scarlets look so much better with a 7 playing rather than three 6's, good try.

This is awful, you can't win a game camped in your own 22.
Get Weir and Niko on, Weir for territory and Niko for some attacking threat.
Has Bennett touched the ball yet?

Yup - should have been Glasgow pen - but clancy will give nothing at all today to glasgow. Missed 4 knock ons, 3 clear obstructions, gave a scrum for an offside at a knock on.
Scarets playing well but clancy is penalising Glasgow out of the game and letting Scarlets get away with things he penalised Galsgow for. ruined the game.

Liam Williams is outplaying Hogg in this game, perhaps people should revise their Lions first 15.

Re: Scarlets V Glasgow
I know Scarlets are dominating, but Welsh commentary team on BBC2 Wales are being extremely arrogant. Jonathan Davies just claimed the game is won, time to go for the bonus point. I think that is incredibly arrogant considering Glasgow's recent record of creating tries extremely fast. All they need is a sniff and things could change very quickly.

Good decision by McCuster to go for the penalty, Glasgow look pretty average and Jackson is rubbish.
