Champions Trophy - England and Wales 2013
First topic message reminder :
Jayawardene does bugger all but scratch around for 18 balls looking horribly out of form, then comes down the track and smacks the bowler straight over his head for a six. Class!
Ball again. Jesus umpires, get on with it

Re: Champions Trophy - England and Wales 2013
Low total and a flurry of wickets.
We are struggling badly in this format aren't we. Too many players scratching around out of form or who just don't know how to pace it it seems.
Looking tough to get to 24 let alone get a good total. Less than 200 is probably too low against big hitters like NZ.
An over of dot balls and a wicket in this short form is taking away your chance of getting anything.
Time to rebuild and look toward the ashes.

Morgan hasn't quite come off in this series yet. Unfortunately.
That is it for Vettori...well bowled
Still four overs to tee off...want these two to bat them all

England 152-5 with 3 overs remaining. 180 the least, anything less, England should be disappointed.

Mills is messing up here, a horrible ball down the leg side that went 4, and a no-ball and free hit.

Even luckier , as now Butler is caught for real next ball...
Better hope Bopara can provide a finish now , or England will come up seriously short.

Re: Champions Trophy - England and Wales 2013
Buttler hey,, one good bash and the rest has been a poor series for him.
Eng are blowing it. It's been a mess of series for them all round. At home yet the just look clueless and lose wickets and never get momentum. All at sea. Giles approach isn't working,
The only positive is that Aussie look just as bad as us. The ashes is the battle of the duffers.

Good finish to the over from Bopara. England 164-6 with 2 overs remaining. England would love 190 here.

Re: Champions Trophy - England and Wales 2013
Sky chap seemed to think you need 200 here. Indian chap.
So probably a good 20 short at least?
Still at least it's not something silly like 100 all out.

Won't be 200 , roakey.
But it is hard to say what a good score is in this sort of game. Hope Bopara can connect with a couple of big ones...
NZ with a cheeky review...nowhere near that !

But Bopara goes next ball, Bresnan and Broad have a job to do here, stretch total to 180-185.
