Foreign Transfers

First topic message reminder :

As a general rule, if you want a world class player (and by world class I mean a player that I consider to be one of the 3 best in the world in his position at the moment), you will be looking at between £20-25 million.

For a top international with over 30 caps, £17-22 million, and an international with less than 30 caps £15-20 million. There may be some exceptions to this in the case of certain players, but this will be the general rule.

There will be an upper limit of £10 million for uncapped academy aged players unless two or more managers want the player and enter into a bidding war in which case there is no upper limit.

Bids for uncapped players who are over academy age limits will be judged on their own individual merits.

What sports would it be common in Matt? Football fees are nearly always undisclosed these days which would be closest to the transfer system we have here. Just not a fan of saying I will pay X amount in a bidding war as it then leaves the chance for whoever your up against to make you pay your maximum when their maximum was a lot lower. Not saying anyone would do that but the chance is always there and with an all summer window cash has never been more important

Sje undisclosed means they do not declare it after deal. Every agent tells prospective teams and also the selling club goes to the lesser offer team and says x club offered this etc. good example being glos offered pdj x
But saints offered x more all in the papers.
