Got to be. Also think the question mark over taking the new ball has been removed. In these conditions it will go round corners.

New ball might give Swann more bounce

Am I right in saying Swann doesn't like bowling with a new ball? Think that's why he took a while to get going yesterday.

Yeah I think you are VTR- however I suppose on day 5 pitches where there is uneven bounce a new ball could help.

Anyway we must go with Plan A(old ball Jimmy) because we cant change back ..

The first 9 overs will give an indication of the amount of turn Swanny is getting and what reverse swing Andersonis managing.Might be all over before the we ball anyway.

I am actually not very confident anymore- This Test has kicked me in the teeth allready on countless occasions..

It's like the south of France down here in the west today.

Stunning. Out at the beach last night it was still warm well into the night.

If it stays cloudy up there it might finally mean them having to bat under the conditions that Cook put himself in under.

Yes trebs, I saw him peel off a stunning 50 at the SCG but his form has slumped since then. His head doesn't quite seem to be in the right place unfortunately for us.

And the sun arrives to guarantee the Aussie safe conditions to see it home.

Further underlines what a melon cook is choosing to bat in the only bad conditions of the game.
