2013 Summer Transfer Window Thread is continued...again
First topic message reminder :
Four days left of the transfer window and still Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle still aren't moving quickly. The Bale deal still hasn't gone through, there is still speculation that Real Madrid may go back in for Suarez and Arsenal could break the transfer record. Tottenham have also decided to sign everybody.
Available at the moment seems to be a list of the players who were the best in the world five years ago:
Kaka
Fernando Torres
Samuel Eto'o (until yesterday)

Redknapp has genuinely signed Krancjar again, I thought people were joking when they said that.
Loads of deals still up in the air. Amateur, clubs have months to do this.

Apparently the Coentrao deal did go through on time, but Real Madrid's replacement Siqueira's deal didn't so Madrid are trying to block the Coentrao move.
I believe Madrid had a deal with Granada in that if Coentrao did move, they already had a bid in place for Siqueira. Very interesting.

Is it just me, or are there a lot more loan deals this year than usual?
It's not like Premier League clubs in the top half to loan players in usually, but we've seen Arsenal try and loan Ba, Liverpool loan Moses, Manchester United try and loan Coentrao.

I'm surprised United dont have legal grounds to panic that Herrera deal through.
Disappointed in United, although Herrera could come in January, extremely disappointed in West Ham.

I'm wondering how this is Moyes' fault, the finger of blame should be pointed squarely at Woodward.

This Ozil signing is a great opportunity for Arsenal. A move that turns heads of people all round the football world. Arsenal got one over the line, they are now in the market for big fish.
Still they lack depth for me, especially if Giroud goes down injured, but Ozil man!

Andy Johnson to Crystal Palace has fallen through, unfortunate that, thought it'd be a good signing for both parties.

Do you think you're the only one who's seen him play, he's not the type of player we needed but Fellani has undoubted ability, his physical presence alone will be a big asset.

At this stage we need gill more than moyes ent
While I think moyes has made mistakes this window he has been just as much let down by this incompetent moron as the fans have
You may not like the deal but fellaini is huge upgrade on cleverley who isnuseless and a 40 year old giggs who gets in the squad because of who he is and not how good he is

Physical presence, sign a Frak night club bouncer.
Can't believe we've signed this guy, Jesus wept.
Moyes is the manager of Manchester United, not the coach - do a fergie and barge into the board meeting and tell them to cough up the cash, go to the airport and escort a player to the ground, ring him up when he's about to sign for the opposition.
Don't hide behind a suit, grow a pair.

Worst signing of the window has got to be Victor Anichebe for £5 million. Especially as Long's deal looks like it has fallen through, and that was presumably going to fund the deal, even if Long is sold, it's grim reading for West Brom fans.
