Everyone seems to have a lot of respect for the bloke. I'm pretty dissapointed we wont be seeing him in the AP anymore used to be a treat to watch him play.
Picking up on what you said in your comments on my squad mate which big player do you think I should go for? I reckon I need a quality openside flanker if I'm honest.

Haha you did walk right into that one mate
I don't think I can offer what your looking for, just built up my squad can't really lose a lot of players for Farrell. I'll keep looking for a ten to buy from other teams.

Re: Saracens Rugby Football Club
No deal I'm afraid. Don't want to loose him as my EQ's are in trouble as it is.
Quite fancying him for a starting berth at Irish since you didn't snap up Hendrie Fourie particularly during the World Cup. Massive Future ahead of him as you well know.
Still can't believe I got him , Gillies and someones else for 10 mil

Think that's the hardest question to answer on the game mate lol , interested in lots of players from everyone's teams it's just finding the right ones to suit a game plan.
I'd say from your side i'm keen on Matt Mullen , Pat Lambie , Francois Hougaard , Tim Visser and Johnathan Davies

Re: Saracens Rugby Football Club
in my squad I have 5 players who are still academy players and not a full academy, so am spot on with no. of players in my squad overall - probably isnt very clear from my page though!

Re: Saracens Rugby Football Club
in that case Gill and Savea can still be part of my academy.
will look at trimming down my squad over the next week or two - as it stands have exactly 55 in squad and 20 in academy.

Re: Saracens Rugby Football Club
Wilson is an England international whislt Rowan is someone who will specialise in 7s and more than likely not make it in the 15 a side game - I also have a load of backrowers so just not keen on him.
Id swap wilson for mullan

Re: Saracens Rugby Football Club
With Mears I'd like a deal with one of these in so if you put something together?
Mullan
Corbs
Beast
Kithcener
Eldstadt (kinda)
Dus
Narraway
Zanni (kinda)
Wood
Hodgson (kinda)
Hougaard
Parra
Trinh Duc
Nonu
Ioane
Ranger
Armitage would need a better deal as he is an English starter

Re: Saracens Rugby Football Club
Actually mate with Rod going to Japan i can see his ratings drop now i'm going to throw a biggie your way.
Botha + Delve
for
Mercy + JVN
- Botha is pretty well rated on here as is Delve who has just come back off a strong super 15 season.
- Mercy is low down the order of props on this game and in the real world but is EQ.
- JVN seems to get picked on when you play him at 6 which is where i'v seen you play him most of the time.

for
Mercy + JVN
- Botha is pretty well rated on here as is Delve who has just come back off a strong super 15 season.
- Mercy is low down the order of props on this game and in the real world but is EQ.
- JVN seems to get picked on when you play him at 6 which is where i'v seen you play him most of the time.

Tom Mercey, Alex Grove, Josh Matavesi + £4m would do that

Interested in one of your comments in predo's Pete:
"Think McAlister has been dire for a while now"
Really? I thought he had one of his best seasons for a few years and was quite surprised he wasn't in AB reckoning, something backed up by a fair bit of the NZ press. He was in 2 teams of the weeks and the alternitive in a fair few others.
Of all the players in mine and Johnny's backlines (JTH, Benjamin, Abendanon, Rooney) I find it a little odd McAlister has been singled out as being "dire" when he was pretty good and is world class on his day, something most on show could only dream of!
Always interested in seeing how people think at predo time so don't think I'm having a pop as I'm def not

Re: Saracens Rugby Football Club
Yea no probs mate, I understand where you're coming from I just think he has a general solid all round game at quite a high standard and has played very well throughout this season. I think we mostly look for our 12's to be busting the line and that's not really McAlister game. I actually think 36 has a similar kind of style to McA.
People have their ratings and you've got to respect that. For example, I really like Beast and rate him very highly, think he's got a great all round game. Some just see him as weakness in the set piece.
I think Ranger is a real talent too and will kick on to be one best around but some can't see past his suspect defence which I don't really see when I watch him.
Cheers for that.

Re: Saracens Rugby Football Club
Things have to be put into perspective though I guess, it all depends on the opposition. I could never mark Narraway down for coming up against a prem standard backrow and would never mention it. But up against say Burger, Ferris and Hari he'd be out of his depth in my opinion. Not a weakness by any means.
Your main probs this week for me was your wing pair, but again if they came up against 2 standard prem players it wouldn't be an issue.

Our teams could look so different come wc. I'm sweating on Juan Smith, PDJ, Servat, Brussow, Vermeulen, Barcella, PDJ, Robshaw!
