Interesting offer...very reluctant to PDJ. Possibly Pape in that deal?

Re: Saracens Rugby Football Club
PDJ is a def English starter for me Pete, 36 would be 3/4th choice at the minute.
Pape is a class act, surprised you don't like him. Maybe do DOC instead. No probs if not, nearly got there!

I could do Schofield but not Parling, he's my only English 5.

I was surprised you sold him actually, had a cracking season for Toulon.
Guess we've hit a brick wall again. I could throw in Crockett or possibly Hipkiss but apart from that I came in with my best offer.

I'm quite surprised you're worried about losing two fringe English players, you've prob got the best English core in the league and thought PDJ would just strengthen that.
No probs mate.....so close again! Lol

not sure mate, who do you rate as similar standard? i would rather try and do a player swap than money, as money doesn't really mean to much in this game anymore.

Re: Saracens Rugby Football Club
was a little bit of a crazy offer, but yeah happy to wait and see what happens with squad announcements. I cant see Corbs missing out - think it will be Sheridan, Stevens, Cole and Corbs, though it will be a toss up between him and PDJ - think Stevens will get there due to his experience.
If he didnt make it then Cole, Corbs and PDJ are all under24 I think and only really been playing 1st team rugby for 2 seasons, would be a gamble.

No probs.
Was expecting Waldrom to go the WC, so not sure how to play my back row now with Joubert and Waldrom in my side.

JVN might be the best back rower during that period. What do you make of Waldrom at 6? Got the physicality to play there. Played there with Crane at 8 when Croft was injured.

Re: Saracens Rugby Football Club
Mullan is one of my favourite players as im sure i played against him quite a few years ago when he first got called into the eng u18/19s - he smashed everyone up, considering we were all at least 5-6 years older than him it was pretty impressive!
Whats your WC team going to be then? Think mine will be:
Domingo Webber Hayman Attwood Taylor Lapandry Kankowski Watson
(no9 not sure) Giteau, Savea, (no12 not sure), Lualala, Arscott, Cipriani

Similar quality English for Ojo Pete, any position considered. Who you got, rather than listing?

I like Traille, good option at 12, 15 and covers 10 too.
Make an offer, but will need quality in return.

"but Falcons lose out slightly with their second rows not being in their absolute best form, although neither is Chris Jack so it's not a massive loss"
You not think Jack played well last year Pete? Thought he was awesome, and there seemed to be a lot of people wanting him back in the AB fold.

Was that the chip over the top from his own try line and dash up field? The lad was decent through the super 15 but really has stepped it up a level in the ITM looks a class above everyone else at the moment!

Can't really lose those two sorry as they're likely to be my starting pair...well so long as Gav signs for the O's!!
What would you want for Lawson though? I do like Rowan but not sure what ratings he'll get as he's playing championship rugby now?

Baker's not gash, very good prospect and should get a lot of game time for Wasps this year - think he cut off his finger a few seasons ago, which stopped him becoming a hooker! Mayhew - no idea what he's like to be honest.

you'd be crazy to get rid of Mullan to anyone - he'll be snagged by Tigers, Saints or Bath by next season - easily best u25 prop in the British Isles -did you see him play yesterday? Talent. If he doesnt get into the England squad ahead of PDJ and Wilson then Johnson needs a slap!

No chance for any of them, they are all levels above Mullan. Can't believe some of the players you said there
