Giroud gets goals to be fair to him. Might not be the most dynamic player but someone has to put the service to use.

Aye. Watford may have been a slightly better team than palace but they exploted a loophole to get where they did. Luckily that loop hole is now closed....
Brighton. I have no beef with them at all tbh. And in a way I miss that minor rivalry from being on the same division. What is pretty much nailed on is that we are going down and they are staying put though. 2014 will be a top year ad hopefully palace will be in a good place to go back up with a years experience at the top flight under our belts.

Rather have Palace than Brighton in this league for one simple reason: Quality.NickisBHAFC wrote:Palace are a waste of a premiership side. Watford and Brighton would of added a lot more to the prem instead of just signing old cloggers who aren't good enough for this level anymore. (This isn't a fishing post)

I dont think theres a foul there. I think theres body contact but I dont think the leg has anything to do with the fall. Pilkington isnt strong enough.Olly wrote:I'd love to know what you see differently that makes it not...NickisBHAFC wrote:Olly wrote:Still think that's a penalty on Pilks

Would'nt surprise me if Benteke leaves in the summer.Olly wrote:Benteke as a worst case scenario...I still think he was the striker Spurs needed...
I hear he is fit to play for Belgium next week,(think they just need a point to qualify).
Hope he will be able to play some part in the Spurs game.
When he came off at Norwich, he should have stayed off.

There a league above Lewes, so im hoping for a cup upset. For your information Mysti, Sutton are 3rd in there league and promotion would see them in the top flight of non league football.

Good advice Nick.
And who doesn't like watching England these days? Dig deep, heart and soul, into the trenches, bacon sandwich, spirit of Agincourt, over the top, and 'ere we go again! Bring on Johnny Foreigner, wherever he may be!*
*Please note, this is purely in jest.

Yes I'm very happy we've got Delia and co, with McNally steering the ship.
I don't even wanna imagine how I would feel if my club appointed a 23 year old Kazakh with no football experience as head of recruitment

Meh not really, we finished 12th and 11th the past two years and that was without anything near the investment of this summer.
Don't think a 10th placed finish is that much of a reach, anybody in that mid table scrum should be aiming for it really

Richards has always had an attitude problem, i have always said he should play RB for England without question, but after his whole attitude with Euro 2012 and refusing to be apart of the stand by squad, i find him a bit of a toss er.

He could have been an England great. What was it, 10 caps when he was 18/19? He could have passed 50 already if not for injuries and staying at Citeh far too long.

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread
Meh he's just not that good, an athlete more than a footballer - he can barely kick the thing.
If he can't get a game for city why should he be starting for his country?

Agree with others about his attitude
I dont think his "injuries" are purely game related. Doesnt look after himself, always out partying
